Very overpriced for the quality and brand names being sold. They were selling a used sweater for $ 99 and I had just seen a similar, nicer one at Talbots down the street for $ 119. Why would I spend so much on a no-name second hand sweater? And that’s not the only example. Nearly everything was over priced. A group of women walked in the same time as me and also walked right out after a short time. I guess I’m not the only one who thinks the pricing is out of line.

I am very disappointed with my consigning experience. I trusted them with my items and they donated everything without letting me know! They sold only one of my items which were $ 300 designer shoes which they gave me $ 15.00 for. A total joke!

Great merchandise a bit pricy but quality however the manager Lauren is not to be trusted make sure you have everything in writing. Lacking truthfulness! A verbal comment is later denied… let the buyer beware.

Called over the phone to inquire about an item and the(young sounding) girl seemed really rude. She would barely let me talk. Strange

my friend Milan had a bad experience here with receiving money owed to her. she had to wait over a month to get a check for almost $ 1000 because the employees and the managers couldn’t seem to figure out the problem. they kept getting her address wrong and wouldn’t give her the check in-store. since i’ve shopped at STA south miami before and never had an issue, i was in the ft. lauderdale area and decided to bring along some items to consign. i called first in the morning to ask if they were accepting winter consignment, to which they said yes. i brought a few bags and a michael kors coat when the(i assume manager) turned me down immediately and snobbishly. she told me they were not accepting winter items until september.(a measly month away) that’s fine. i proceed to give her more items like a marc jacobs laptop case and wallet to which she rudely reminds me that the quality isn’t perfect so the price would reflect that. yes i’m aware the quality isn’t pristine, they are MY items. then she assumed the color of the wallet trim was previously white and is now grey from dirt. no, the trim is grey. she scoffed again and recommended i clean them and come back to try again. little did she know i had two vintage gucci crossbody bags, an LV bucket bag, a never worn michele watch, van cleef necklace, a fendi wallet and two david yurman rings in my possession willing to consign. after the way she treated me and the time it took to get my friend her check, i will not be providing this store with any more of my business. unfortunately the attitude we’ve both dealt with, is not worth it.

Ok guys and ladies here is the best thrift shop for high end goods in all of ft Lauderdale and its on Las olas! This shop caters to mostly ladies with high end designers from around the world. For the guys they have a huge glass counter for unisex jewelry and highest quality sunglasses at a fraction of the cost. I just purchased a beautiful black Persol sunglasses for 135.00. It was higher but after a week or two the prices drop and so on until the item sells. I was afraid I miss out on these sunglasses but got them yesterday. They also have the modern much saughy after Burburry sunglasses normally 600.00 for 310.00. Going to hope to get those next week. I love saving money on the real stuff and no fake fendi or burrberry here. You must make weekly stops because new items come in everyday and go just as fast. Also bought great Fendi zipper pocketbook fits in jeans perfect and beautiful Gucci sunglasses for 175.00 with leather case… same items at new at Neaman Marcus would be 350 for wallet and 700.00 for Gucci 700.00. Feel great saving money and looking posh! Ask for manager Noyah, beautiful and ask for any back stock that has not been marked for the floor! That’s my tip! Happy shopping. Tell he bobby sent you! Walk around all over the store… lots of unisex men’s /ladies travel bags in shop along with super prices on sunglasses !

Items are overpriced. The selection isn’t that great for a designer consignment shop.

Overpriced. A knit top I was interested in, in spite of the ridiculously high price, had a stain on the front, and a dress also had a stain. The saleswoman who approached me had a bit of an attitude for someone working in a consignment store… no matter how«upscale». Not the best of the consignment stores in the area.

I said I would update my review after my consignment period(3 months) was over with the results of my endeavors. As a recap, I came in with about 6 dresses, one pair of shoes, one hand bag, and one top — ranging from Jay Godfrey to the Limited. When I came in to consign my items, the process was very easy and I liked most that they ask you if you have a minimum price you would accept for any particular item. I also liked that I could make an account online to track my sales. So all in all, the process is simple and you can pretty much forget about it until your 3 months are up and it’s time to go pick up your check. Unfortunately, majority of my items did not sell. The shoes(Betsey Johnson) and the bag(B. Makowski) both sold for just under $ 70 each, and surprisingly, my less ‘designer’ items were the ones to sell. I had a Guess dress sell, as well as the top from the Limited, both of which had a ~$ 35 price tag. How it works is the store gets 60% and you get 40%, so for my 4 items that sold, I was handed a 60-something dollar check. I guess it was an easy 60 bucks made… but I was definitely expecting more. I was able to see online what they priced my clothing for, and I would say the ticket prices definitely played a part in most of my items not selling. For example, an ASOS dress I brought in,(which I was truthfully pretty shocked that they even took), was listed for $ 99. I probably paid $ 20 for it… and probably even used a coupon code. I just feel like if you can walk into a Marshalls and find a new Kate Spade dress, for example, for $ 150, you are not going to walk into STA and feel good dropping a Franklin on something used. And lets not even talk about what you can score on ebay if you put in the time/effort. So I think the pricing needs to be adjusted some if they want to sell more and bring more customers into the store.

Left my shoes in front window display. Shoes faded and leather straps came apart from the sun. Very upset. Ruined expensive pairs of my shoes

Second Time Around is basically a used clothing/consignment chain store operation with 40 some stores around the county. You can consign certain articles of clothing, purses, accessories or whatever and keep track of them through their internet web site. All of the items are sorted to either be in new or exemplary top condition. To me it’s kind of a brick and mortar eBay like operation. Most of the goods in the store are of women’s apparel and indeed I found every item to be in top condition. However, I found the inventory to be rather sparse and somewhat limited. The store itself is clean, neat and everything is displayed in a well-organized manner. For quality, display and general appearance, the store is clearly a cut above most similar second hand clothing stores, but in my mind that doesn’t make up for the limited inventory.

My goodness this place is a cute little second hand store on Las Olas Blvd. Saw a few pair of gently used designer shoes that I would have loved to taken home(but they weren’t my size!) Also saw a few Louis Vuitton bags while cruising the store(Unfortunately, not styles that I liked.) The clothing selection in the shop was ok but they did have some very pretty vintage dresses. I feel pricing for items were decent and the condition of the designers items I saw was acceptable.(Nothing overly worn out or tattered.) I think this shop needs a bit more inventory for me to give it a higher rating but I would go back to the shop if I’m in the area.
