What a cool place! It’s really hard to describe without actually vising Stache but it’s hidden away(as a 20’s style drinking den should be) behind Revolution and just north of the CYN night club. Look for the HUGE mustache painted on the wall or you’ll walk right by. We came out on a Friday night to have a few drinks and enjoy the DJ that was scheduled that evening. It’s a fairly open place with a smaller downstairs bar area. The downstairs«club» area is very dark but had a few tables and couches randomly placed near the walls. There’s a hidden downstairs bar toward the back(covered by curtains) that is apparently open during the day, which I’m told has Panther Coffee and Rhino Doughnuts! I may have to come back in the day time! My favorite part of Stache was the Whisky Den hands down. A very inconspicuous staircase near the bathrooms leads you upstairs to an even cooler place that has comfy lounge chairs, pool table, birds eye view of the rest of the club, and the most bad ass bar and bartenders that will make you the most amazing whisky beverage on the planet! I don’t regularly drink whisky but when I do it has to be something special. I started off with a Jameson and Ginger Ale and played a game of pool with friends. As the night progressed one of my friends ordered a Whisky Sour. When the bartendress proceeded to make said drink she took out a carton of eggs. Fun fact… «real» whisky sour’s are made with egg whites. This caught my curiosity and I decided to play some whisky roulette and I definitely won! This was by far THEBEST mixed drink I think I’ve ever had. I have no idea what kind of whisky was used but it was definitely sour but had a slightly frothy thickness to it which I think came from the egg white.(I didn’t get sick from drinking an egg white by the way!) While making our drinks the one bartenders told us that they have enough«supplies» to make like 46,000 different types of old fashioned’s. So so cool! I’ve been told they have burlesque shows on certain nights which I think would be awesome to watch from their second story balcony in the Whisky Den. As far as the downstairs bar I can’t comment since I didn’t order anything but the upstairs staff on this particular evening was great. Will definitely return to visit their whisky den again!

What a joke. Just another club with a speakeasy-ish ambiance. Except for the erratically swirling blinky LED lights and giant projector screen with college sportsball. Cocktails were fine, but nothing special. Service could use an attitude adjustment. Décor is interesting, but generally a mishmash. There is a very loud venue next door — the sound systems annoyingly competing. Music was so-so, but was basically inaudible when the wub-wub started next door… on a Wednesday at 7:30pm. The women’s bathroom shared between the two — but not the men’s. Upstairs is closed on weekdays without a staff escort and don’t expect them to be nice about it. Definitely not worth a special trip and if you’re already nearby, there are better places to go.

1÷29÷2016− Had this on last year Bucket List. Finally made it with friends and brought a friend from out of town. Absolutely loved the décor, the vibe, the bar, the Whiskey Lounge, and my favorite the MUSIC… DJMISHA. I was the designated driver this evening so I just had a couple of Magic Hat #9 Beer. The upstairs are, Whiskey Lounge, is super cool with seating areas and a pool table. It’s a great place to come with friends but a better place to come on a date and hide away in one of their seating areas. DJ Misha was amazing, I’m actually following him on sound cloud and he has some amazing mixes. I’m a fan of the place, not too much with the customer service. I got my beers from the downstairs bar and it seemed like all 3 of the people behind the bar did not want to be there. Better service upstairs, very friendly. I will be back for one of their Burlesque shows!

Have been wanting to check this place out for a while. Well I guess it could have waited a bit longer because I wasn’t missing anything. This is still China white with some other décor thrown in. I didn’t get speakeasy vibe at all. Just another club. No signatures drinks after 11? Top shelf liquor nonexistent. I don’t get it. And I had to pay a cover? I should have been paid to go in. No burlesque show. I had high hopes for a really unique place and this just wasn’t it. Oh well.

I like this spot. I’m a big fan of the upstairs lounge area. Great EDM music on Saturday nights. Lots of great décor to look at. Big projected TV when important games or other shows are in high demand. Two bars downstairs. Very friendly staff! Good drink and food specials, good cocktail list. Pool table upstairs before lounge area, with another bar. Stache also has some whiskey tastings, and other random events. Great location for these types of events and Stache should consider doing more during weeknights and on weekends. Street parking all around and paid parking lot in the back. No cover the few times I’ve been here.

One of the only places I have ever seen Pappy Van Winkle bourbon. They were serving the 10 and 12 year olds Van Winkles and had all the others. Great whiskey selection. Definitely a great place to stop in and try rare whiskey.

We came in while they were busy setting up for a big news years party but our bartender still happily took the time to show us their extensive whiskey collection and pour us glasses of pappy. 5 stars for the service alone, and the atmosphere of the bar is outstanding to boot.

I have one problem with this place. And that is the location. I want it to be closer to my home! Stache does not disappoint — antique-chic décor, well stocked bars, and a coffee bar that has a bearded-barista that makes a delicious vanilla bourbon latte. I definitely will be back for a live show!

How brilliant is having a bar connected to an amazing venue like Revolution Live?! I went to a show at Revolution live last Sunday and when I arrive into the venue I found myself in Stache. The ambience really just makes you want to drink but in a good way. My date and I were able to grab drinks and head into the venue with our drinks. I wish every venue worked this way. There’s an upstairs area you can rent out if you’re having a party. I attended a party in the upstairs area before as well and it provided an intimate area to chat with people while over looking the common area below. The downstairs area is like a common area– there’s enough space to dance and there’s a stage in case they want to use that for a venue as well. Lovely place for a private party. Worth checking out for sure!

First review of the New Year! Stache was where I chose to spend my NYE. They had a great night planned out: burlesque, DJ set, open bar till midnight, food… Score! Tickets were around $ 70 and I bought them before hand rather than getting them at the door. The place was poppin’ when we arrived,(which was later than I wanted but unfortunately Ft. Lauderdale Police are incompetent at directing traffic entirely.) The open bar was great, nothing off limits, even specialty drinks. I opted for Hendricks and tonic, extra lime — my holy grail. Entertainment was great, the burlesque performances were alternated with the DJ set which was great. The burlesque girls were so amazing, some using feathers or fire, the outfits were glittery and risqué — just fabulous! At midnight all the balloons fell down on us as we danced the night away! The venue itself offers an upstairs and a downstairs, one bar upstairs, two downstairs, one of which is a coffee bar during the day. The bathrooms were clean and had pleasant attendants. Overall I had a wonderful night. I will definitely be back a Stache throughout 2016 for all the fun and events it has to offer!

Last night’s NYE party at Stache was nothing short of fan-fu*%ing-tastic. Class act all the way through from the doorman to the bartender. I have yet to be in a bar/lounge/club downtown, or even in Las Olas, that was as welcoming as Stache. Walking in on your left there is a smaller bar, and straight ahead is the gorgeous main bar to the right. Beautifully decorated, with couches and seating everywhere. Strong drinks, friendly people and a cool atmosphere… The DJ was great and the vibe was even better. We left at about 2:30 and were completely satisfied with the whole experience. We will definitely be coming back for more!

Stache has been one place I keep coming back to. I love the setting. You definitely get the speakeasy feel and vibe once inside. Drinks are delicious and well prepared. Bartenders dress to impress and fit right in to the theme of the place. I’ve been able to enjoy live bands, DJ’S and even some burlesque shows here. During the weekends it can get crowded but during the week it is perfect for a midweek date night for me my man. The décor and drinks make this place a winner. A must visit if your in the area. Drinks are pricey but pack a punch. Bartenders show passion in their craft.

Stache 1920’s Drinking Den wow! The place is unreal the hand crafted cocktails are exceeding expectations. The bartenders are super knowledgeable and if a menu item is not of your liking the will customized a drink for you. Upstairs is the whiskey bar you can choose from an extensive collection while shooting some pool or enjoying of the main act in stage by the balcony. Different acts take stage from know DJ’s, local bands & burlesque shows to mention some. During the day they provide excellent local Panther ‘s coffee & donuts for those people that need breakfast on the run or just want to chill on their laid-back environment. Stays open late for a perfect finish to any party night if in Fort Lauderdale you must visit Stache!

My friends have been raving about Stache for the longest time. I was really excited to find out what the hype was about. When we walked in I was impressed with the atmosphere, décor and overall vibe. The bartender was really nice as well. Overall I had a good time and will recommend this place to my friends.

Great space for great times! We saw Dan Akroyd there in March. The blues brothers tribute was fun. Birthdays Billiards Dancing and great fun are all at Stache. Looking forward to some laughs at the comedy night this week. Great management and a great team.

I’ve been here for Friday HH a few times. It is not crowded, which I don’t understand why because it is a great ambiance. They have live music on Friday til 9’pm and then a DJ takes over. You can easily have a conversation during HH. The bartenders make excellent drinks that are discounted until 9pm. They smoke the glasses for old fashions. They have the large square ice cubes for the drinks. They have many bitters to add to drinks and fresh fruits. There are high top tables and the bar area. There is an upstairs with a pool table. This is a great place to hangout at HH for professionals 30 – 40’s.

As much as Stache had me hooked during my first visit, my next few visits have me thinking otherwise. Now, I would not recommend Stache to anyone after the experience I had during my mother’s bachelorette party. Looking for a good time, I read that on the Thursday night we were going out to celebrate, Stache would have a food truck, pop up craft art, comedians and burlesque. So I figure, this should be awesome! DISCLAIMER, long post, so TLDR: I would not have been as upset about this whole ordeal if the people who worked there had not argued with us and if it was handled in a more professional manner. If that was the case then I’m sure my group of gals would have been fine with moving. But this… This was just absurd. Now to the whole story if you’re interested: We arrive, and there’s barely anyone there at around 8, and we sat at a high top by the stage. A bartender came out and helped us with our drink selections. They were tasty, but lacking in «strength». We ordered waters to pace ourselves, as we had cocktails before. Then someone came around and told us that we had to move at 11 because they needed the table for a reservation. Well, the group of ladies that I was with was not too happy about that since there was no sign when we sat down saying that it was to be reserved, and we had chose the seat for optimal comedy show/burlesque show viewing. And then a highly unnecessary battle ensued between my buddies and the employees. When we asked if they would bring us another high top for us sit at, he obliged and walked away. Then the bartender who was serving us started arguing with us. I won’t go into too many details about this RIDICULOUS he-said, she-said. But both times we requested to speak to a manager, and no one came. Then 2 hours later when they came to claim the table(without bringing us a new table), my group decided they still didn’t think they should move. Then a manager finally arrived. Once we told him what happened, he said of course he would get us a new table to sit at, and that the next round of drinks was on him. They got us an extra table, and we moved over. As I suspected, the bachelorette party that came had no interest in sitting behind the bachelorette. They all just piled on the couches with her. So the«reserved tables» they booted us out of were left unused. Well, no drinks arrived, so we asked the bartenders and they said that they were not told to do anything. And my buddies had to ask for the manager again and I left to go feed the parking meter. I don’t know what happened between then and when I got back, but there were some drinks on the table. Throughout the night, the joint was barely full(it was pretty much the same crowd as when we arrived), and the whole of Himmarshee Village was busting at the seams and partying like there was no tomorrow. There was no craft show sales, the comedy was actually good, and the burlesque show was super short due to it being hijacked by a bachelorette party.

Wow, talk about an unexpected surprise! This place is one part 1920’s themed club, one part speakeasy with a unique, completely nondescript entrance. One enters Stache under an awning that’s labeled in Asian script and says«Himmie Health Club». Once you enter, there’s a full bar downstairs with a mixologist mixing up some amazing concoctions, and then upstairs is another full bar, a lounge area and pool table. The place is very warm and cozy inside with lots of antique furniture and full height walls behind both the upstairs and downstairs bars which are stacked to the ceiling with bottles of various types of alcohol. Downstairs you’ll also find a stage that featured a band earlier in the evening on the Friday night I was here, and also a burlesque dancer who came out a bit later to perform a few numbers. Their prices are also reasonable; Even at full price, their specialty drinks created and served up by a proper«mixologist» are only $ 11. Similar drinks at somewhat comparable bars in Miami Beach are going for upwards of $ 20. The sweet thing is that, this bar has a happy hour that goes fairly late and their drink prices are ½ price, which means the specialty cocktails are $ 5.50. Can’t beat that with a 1920’s walking stick!

I thinks Stache is one of those places that is kind of a well-kept secret, and it’s kind of cooler that way. From the outside, you really have to know where you’re going, because you would never know that«Himmie Health Club» with Chinese or Korean lettering(not sure) would be the entrance. When you get inside, to me it looks like a spooky Haunted house. Everything is set in 1920’s style so it can look like a murder mystery set if the lighting is right. Some nights they have the burlesque type music and ambience, other nights they have House music with neon lighting and blacklighting on the giant crystal chandelier. Either way it’s awesome but a completely different experience. I recommend going to see both. I love the vibe here with both types of music going-although I’m partial to House style, I love all kinds of music except country. Also crowds tend to be smaller here at least on Saturdays because again, it tends to be somewhat of a secret? Or people would rather dance to Top40. Not sure. Keep in mind it does get loud due to the nature. Ladies-a tip, I’ve noticed this place does tend to be somewhere that guys tend to flock to and«wallflower», so come with a few girlfriends for safety just in case. However security is awesome if need be unlike some other places I’ve been to. A place I frequent for sure.

Stache is one of my favorite night spots in South Florida. This is high praise considering the sheer number of places to get drinks down here, but it’s true. The combination of chill atmosphere, great drinks, knowledgeable staff, and unusual design make it very worthwhile. The first thing to know about Stache is that it is tucked away from the main downtown strip. That plus the vibe keep away some of our beloved but more obnoxious revelers. Don’t get me wrong, you can definitely dance and have a great time there, but it’s much more lounge-y and relaxed than say, Capone’s or CYN. You can actually hold a conversation here. That brings me to the staff. Let’s be fair, most bartenders downtown aren’t hired for their mixing acumen. Not the case here. I can safely say I’ve only ever had a conversation about biochemistry with one bartender, and it was at this spot. The mixologists here are really sharp and know their craft very well. Everyone is knowledgeable and very friendly. I’ve been here on a number of occasions and every drink I’ve had has been excellent. My personal favorite is the old fashioned. They take the time to prepare it right, including rubbing the entire rim with a freshly peeled orange rind. They will also smoke the glass for you by burning wood with a small torch and trapping the smoke in the glass. Tastes perfect! Even better since you can talk to your friends and enjoy the live music. Stache is a great first stop if you’re going downtown. Take your time, chat up the bartenders, enjoy the taste of a well crafted drink. There’s nothing else like it in the area.
