Subway

I had to wait to cool off and compose myself before I could sit down and write this review. I’ve never felt the burning desire to write a strongly worded review until I encountered the staff at this subway establishment. Not only did they not get our order correct and made me repeat myself multiple times, they gave smirky looks and acted as if it was an inconvenience for me to order a sandwich, the audacity these workers had to give attitude when they couldn’t even get a simple sub order correct was, to say the least, quite shocking. Me and my family will certainly not be visiting again!

I don’t know why the manager would employ such rude employees. They acted of we were putting them out by ordering a sandwich. I am here on vacation and have vacationed at the Marriott Fort Lauderdale several times. I will not be returning to this sandwich shop. It seems as they were put out by us spending money there. I will defiantly steer clear of this place my next time here.

I sometimes eat at Subway. Yes, it’s true! I even downloaded the app. Their healthiest option? A veggie-​packed breakfast flatbread with lean protein and just the right amount of good-​for-​you fats. Yup! When ordering off the menu, I always get the Egg on Flatbread for breakfast; then request egg whites in place of eggs, skip the cheese, and add avocado instead. Load it up with veggies like Spinach and Tomatoes.
I always pack packages or cans of Tuna in my bag when traveling, so I always add it on my flatbread. (The one that they use at Subway has light mayo, so probably not a good choice. So I always pack my own that I get from the market) Who says it’s hard to eat healthy while you’re on the road?

If 0 stars was an option, that’s what this sad excuse for a subway would receive. After walking in to the store the first time, I realized that there was only one person was working, and they were clearly under staffed and quite busy. Later that day I went back to buy a sub, only to find that there was still only one person working, however there wasn’t much of a line. The one worker there then proceeded to tell me to come back later because he had been working 4 whole hours with out a break, and he «needed a smoke.» I asked him what his boss would think about turning down customers, and he told me that he didn’t really care. Horrible attitude. Save yourself the time and money.

This is by far the worst Subway i have ever been too. Its in a location that looks like it used to be very popular but now is only standing because of the typical popular drinking locations (Hooters, Fat Tuesday, etc) Unfortunately we visited twice during our stay becuase we just wanted a quick sandwich and on the beach strip their arent many options to get in and out. Both times we visited it seemed as though we were inconveniencing the workers by showing up. I dont understand people that work at places and expect not to actually work, no one made you work there. The first time they didnt even get our sandwiches right, they put the wrong toppings in the wrong sandwiches. We wont be visiting any Subway anytime soon due to our experience here. Dont waste your time coming here, maybe they will close soon so not to inconvenience the staff by having to work when someone comes in.

The food at this particular location is disgusting. The lettuce and tomatoes are served almost rotten. The windows were murky from finger prints and the strip had a lot of riff raff after hours

best sub ever made lol. The employees were so funny and they have this cute little bell that you ring whenever its perfect. this was the cleanest subway i have ever been too.

They cut my footlong with a knife that was clearly dirty with dressing from other sandwiches, and continued to do so with following customers. Talk about disgusting. Other than that, the food was fine.

Do not come here to eat. First of all, they charge more money per sandwich, since it’s a tourist location. Furthermore, they are miserable in every single thing that comes with your sandwich (vegetables, sauces etc). Every single subway I have been gives you a small cup to drink tap water from for free Not here, they will charge you for tap water! After they take away your money with a skinny sandwich.

I like the Subway chain, and I visit frequently. But this location is the worst I’ve been to. The bread was far from fresh (possibly days old), the vegetables were all wilted and stuck to the container, the cheese was melted onto the container. Your subpar sub came accompanied with a side of attitude.

This subway was really awesome, I don’t kno why it has a low review. The two employees were really nice, professional, and funny. They were talking about some food they got from hooters and even offered me some.
The store was very clean, and of course it smelled like the mouth watering bread. This location was even cheaper than the one near my job in plantation which was surprising! For a lighter choice in food when you want lunch at the beach and to keep ur wallet happy, I would go back to this subways.

I saw this poor Subway had low reviews, but I was staying in the Marriott upstairs and just wanted something quick and thought, «How bad can they really mess up Subway?». Overall I did not have any issues, the girls working there were pleasant and there was not much of a line.
In the end it was Subway, they are the same pretty much everywhere you go.

This is the worst subway you could ever visit and it deserves to be closed down. After my experience here I never want to go to a subway establishment ever again. This is coming from a person that frequents subway on a regular basis at least 3 times a week. I had the worst experience ever. The shopping center, if you could call it that, the subway is located in is very gross and dilapidated. The subway matches the shopping center. The employees look and acted like they were just released from the juvenile detention center. My friend said he wanted a sub, chips, and a drink and when she didn’t hand him a cup, he asked for one. The girl had the audacity to say that he didn’t pay for one when he asked for it. She preceded to be very rude and got upset when we were rude back. Then after we were eating our meal that we paid for, which by the way they threw together and it was the worst sub I ever had, some boys walked by and said,“oh look, no one is in there!” And went in. A little while later the one boy came over and was trying to pick a fight and basically attack us, after he was talking to the subway employees which he appeared to be associated with. Do not ever go to this subway. The girls were rude to the guests before us and when we walked in the one girl was just on her cell phone when there was a long line. Again, never go here.

Please avoid this Subway at all costs. The Subway is in a sketchy patch of Ft. Lauderdale. I felt like I was in Druid Hills of Baltimore for a second. The Gallery of the Beach is an outdated ruins of a strip mall. The bathrooms in the Gallery at the Beach have holes in the walls and the walls are oozing with dirt and grime. The entire establishment looks like it would be a good fit for Syria. The place either needs to be bulldozed or at the very least renovated.
The Subway was conveintly located on the 2^nd floor across from a dive bar. The personnel at Subway were equally as «ratchet» as the building. The employees working at the Subway are about a bright as a 5W light bulb. I should have listened to my intuition that this place was nothing but a hub for wayward teenaged punks looking for trouble. The lady making the subs was rude so I was rude right back to her. Should I have let her take her frustrations out on me because she hates her job? I noticed she was talking on her phone while making my sub. I noticed after paying for my sub that she didn’t hand me a cup. I asked here for a cup and she expressed to me that I should pay for the beverage first. I expressed to the young lady that I mentioned purchasing chips and a soda with my sub several times.
I quickly found a seat with my friend and started digging into my freshly made sub. I noticed a group of teenagers approaching the Subway. I noticed that the young ladies working in Subway were talking to this group of young men. A young man approached my table in a hostile manner shortly after walking into the Subway. The young man used several racial slurs to describe me and my friend. He also expressed how I didn’t want to mess with him because I would come up missing. I left shortly there after because I was not looking to go to jail on vacation. I ended up going to a much classier place down the street because I didn’t feel safe to finish my sub. I do not expect gourmet service and food at subway or anything of that sort. However, I do feel that I should at least have decent service and a safe environment to dine.
