Poor service, they forgot to place my order. After waking got 20 mins I asked for my money back. Cashier did not even apologize

Great lunch spot. Good, healthy, filling options. Parking is a problem during peak hours, which seems like it is mainly the fault of the Starbucks in the same plaza.

I came here quite by accident on the way to a garden center because I was starving and stopped in for a sandwich. I ordered the Sunrise panini, which was grilled chicken, Brie and greens on 7 grain bread. I also ordered a wheatgrass shot, which was a little pricey, but worth it. I took the sandwich to go, because I was in a rush, but I will return again to try another sandwich or sushi. Parking was easy, because there’s a big parking lot and it’s easy in and out. I will definitely return again.

Delicious paninis and sandwiches, the food for life special sandwich and sunrise panini are so good, the steak sandwich is amazing. They also make fresh juices. Great place to eat healthy.

Perfect place to go to if you’re looking for healthier menus. Literally. They even have a section towards your right as soon as you walk in with many choices of organic, sugar free juices, fresh cut fruit and things like vegan cookies. Their wraps are delicious, The salads are salads & Their small sushi section is OK. (However, I always tend to ask for a fresh batch of my choice fresh sushi.) I have yet to try out their juices and smoothies, yet I have heard from various coworkers that they’re not to die for and can probably make them tastier at home. During lunch time are its peak hours so I’d recommend to call ahead and place your order. I have stopped coming to this location only because of how busy it gets and the prolonged wait period to get your order but I’ll be back soon, maybe.

Love the place. A bit pricy but you’re paying for freshly made food. I sometimes get sushi rolls(yellow tail and spicy tuna) which are good with the piping hot miso soup(free!). Usually my goto is the ABLT(avocado BLT) on grain which is always good. Last week I tried the triple decker with chicken breast and that was excellent as well. The wheatgrass shots are pricey but worth it and the juices are freshly made. Just be prepared to wait sometimes while they prepare your juice or make your food. Awesome!

I go to the location in Parker Plaza. It’s very busy, so I don’t blame them for the wait. However, everything is severely overpriced for what you get! I work in the building, otherwise I’d never come here. I don’t know what the other location is like. Please! More food for the money! Thanks!

I work in the area so I frequent here pretty often. The food itself is usually good. However there is always something that is not quite right. I’m often charged overpriced for something. The other day I ordered tuna salad with lettuce and tomato on toasted whole wheat bread. I received it untoasted. I brought it to the ladies attention and what I received back was a hot tuna sandwhich that was pressed like a panini. Not very appetizing. Ordering a Sandwhich on toast, and ordering a pressed Sandwhich are very different. Today I ordered the chicken teriyaki box special and had to throw away the chicken because it was so tough. Very disappointed since the prices are not cheap.

love this place… the have the best wraps and sandwiches! everything is super fresh and super tasty! prices are reasonable and the taste even more so. the place is a bit small so seating can be a bit problematic during peak lunch hours, but other than that… no complaints. service is great and your food comes out fast, just the thing when you need a quick bite! definitely one of the go to spots.

Eh… The chicken in the Food for Life special wrap was dry and filled with the taste of smoke. Not their best.

I really liked their food, I got sunrise panini with honey mustard but the honey mustard was a little bitter, but I still liked the wrap

They are rude to customers, and despite having a menu, they refuse to prepare food from the menu. I can understand why MacDonald’s or chain restaurants would limit breakfast time choices, as they have to change the microwave over or whatever they do, but this is a place that promotes healthy eating and has tried to steer me from the protein heavy meal I wanted to some carb loaded wrap. They should close down and allow people that care to serve open a restaurant instead.

Meh. I’ve experienced better is probably the only way to describe it. I went in for breakfast sandwiches and expected better. One girl as a cashier, another taking/making orders, lots of customers. I asked for a bacon egg sandwich on a plain bagel along with a sausage egg and cheese on a plain. She said they were out of plain bagels… then found some? Okay, can I make one of them a platter so I can get some home fries and toast? Oh the cook who makes that went home you say? Okay… it’s 10AM… So, no home fries and toast, fine no problem. Oh, 10 dollar minimum on a card? Grrr… okay… if i had some home fries and toast, that wouldnt be a problem! Okay… sigh… I’ll get some juice and fruit. NOOJ?! What kind of deli is this??? Fine, I’ll pay now. Get home, no sausage in my sandwich. Terrible.

No atmosphere, but breakfast and lunch sandwiches are very good here. Friendly staff. The spouse and I go here very frequently. Never had a bad meal. They don’t mind if you bring your cup of Starbucks in to drink with your meal.

4 stars only because I happen to be a regular at the Englewood Cliffs location and find the seemingly larger space a bit more comfortable for the overall experience. Still, the offerings are the same and always fresh and delicious. Visit Food For Life for breakfast and order an egg white, turkey and Swiss on whole wheat wrap. For lunch get the Food For Life Special on whole wheat wrap. For dinner try a salad or brown rice bowl. Alternates are bagels, tuna salad(done right with minimal mayo), and/or sushi. I believe this Location in Fort Lee, NJ is the original. The Edgewater and Englewood Cliffs sites all followed.

This is a great place to grab a quick lunch for on the go! My favorite is the chicken teriyaki lunch special. It comes with brown rice, a house salad served with delicious ginger dressing, and a 4 piece california roll.

For a quick healthy meal/juice/salad. It a good place. I wouldn’t really say they use all the best produce. Its typical bodega food. but displayed in a cleaner, fancier way. Super overpriced for what your getting. They charge extra for everything. I got cold cut subs there. messed up my order twice. Once when I asked for spinach instead of lettuce and another time when I asked for the roll to be scooped out… I’ve also tired their fresh juice. Choices are limited and also overpriced. I would only go here if I was desperate for something somewhat clean. Its the only healthy choice around this area…
