Terrible massage. Spent way too long on first part of massage in attempt to upsell for more time. Then had to rush through the rest when i declined extra time. Massage itself was weak too. Then tried to insist that I tip 40 percent. Worst experience ever

The rooms are clean, the temperature of the room and the water is great the price for services reasonable. This was me and my friends second time. And we were planning on coming every 4 weeks. Notice I said were… I would have given 4 stars for the great massage. But was insulted at the end of the service. My bill was $ 85.60 I gave a $ 20 tip. I was frowned at and demanded to give $ 25. as that is the gratuity policy. That is 30% of the bill. What’s so ironic if you google people who give gratuity you will find Asians are not likely to tip. I’m contracting the better business bureau. 1609 588 0808.
And…you can’t even relax when all throughout the session, both therapists are talking & laughing in their own language. We probably wont return and we would not recommend.

First off let me say this place is extremely convenient, and clean. I got an hour massage as a walk in with no problem and the woman who gave me a massage was excellent. My problem is with the management. Upon walking in and asking to pay for my massage up front, I was then asked for a tip. I told her I would tip in cash once the service was done. The woman seemed surprised that my creidt card went through. Upon leaving the location I decided to go to the bathroom before I left, when I came out I was looked at strangely by a man who was behind the counter who then asked me if I got a body scrub. When I said No, I got a massage he asked me if I gave a tip. I replied that I had given it to the woman who gave me my massage who was in the back by this time, he then proceeded to ask several workers if they gave me a massage, I guess to verify if I gave a tip. I should have left when the woman asked me to pay upfront. Their behavior ruined my massage experience and they don’t ever have to worry about getting any of my money again.

I only got a foot massage in this place. Still have to experiment with the full body massage. The therapist (shame, I did not catch his name) was very professional and courteous. More importantly, he gave me the best foot massage ever. I did tip generously and will certainly go back. Location is amazing for me, since I live right around the corner. The place is also no-​fuss. No waiting if you had an appointment and they start right on time.

So I came upon this place on whim and was not disappointed.
1. They were not overly busy on a sunday and clean
2. The massage… OMG!!! Amazing… there was a slight wait to get the massage but atleast the staff kept me updated that they were running behind on the massages. Back to the actual massage… so the masseuse started off slowly to locate where my tension was and then eased into the massage. I was surprised that she started with the right amount pressure and really got into the knots. I was so relaxed that I actually fell asleep and woke up feeling very refreshed.
3. The sauna rooms were very soothing. They were not packed at all and they were clean. I definitely enjoyed the quiet room (which was great to take a nap)
4. So the part that threw me for a loop (I’m a first timer here) was the fact that when you’re in the bathroom you have to be naked (like birthday suit naked). I tried going to the shower area the first time with the clothes they gave me and figured that I would take it off when I’m by the shower but the lady in the shower area said I had to go back and take it off and then go back in. AWKWARD!!! I tried to walk over to the shower slightly covered with a towel but I was so uncomfortable the first time. The worst walk of shame… lol. After that I was ok but geez can a girl get a drink first lol…
5. The price can’t be beat… For $ 20 you get entrance to the spa and access to the sauna, steam room, shower, nap room and lounge area. The 1 hour massage was $ 50 and the tip was $ 15. They have smoothies and light snacks available for sale at a reasonable price.

Very decent and affordable Korean spa in the area. Admission is $ 20 and you get access to two pools (or tubs lol), steam room and two dry sauna rooms.
All rooms were really clean and just what they were suppose to be as a Korean spa :) I have to deduct one star for the rice drink that was charged to us at $ 6 a bottle. The price was not mentioned when we got the drinks and wasn’t sure if we got ripped off but the drinks were delicious!
It is a Koran spa so expect to get naked around others. Also the workers there don’t really speak English but we got around ok somehow by pointing and using body language

Very quaint spa. Perfect way to spend Valentine’s Day without all the people. The two saunas were great never overly crowded. The staff is polite and the place well kept and clean. The massage was one of the better ones I’ve had recently. The masseuse found knots I didn’t know could exist. Will definitely come back.

I will never go back to World Sauna and Spa. Firstly, $ 20 to access only two sauna rooms is ridiculous. My massage was extremely painful, not relaxing what so ever.

World Spa is extremely clean and staff is very nice. It was out of my comfort zone. I got use to it quickly, but it could have been because I was the only female there getting a body scrub and pretty much the only person there at all. My appt. was at 10:45pm (great hours). If you’re not comfortable being completely naked around others this is not the place for you. There are tables all lined up where the body scrub is done, no partition in-​between them (no privacy). Service is great.
The reason for the loss of a star is because my service was $ 60 and then they charge a admission fee of $ 20, which is crazy. I tipped the person 20% on the actual service and she had the audacity to tell me that is wasn’t enough. I was so in shock by that, that I just gave more. Next time I won’t be fooled by that move if I go back and will say something. That situation just rubbed me the wrong way.

Initially would have given it a 4 star for the good massage, but tip percentage in new jersey for a massage is equivalent to 15−18%, we gave them more than the tip requirement, but they ran after us and told us that $ 20 isn’t enough. demanding to be given $ 30.
Plus, how can it be relaxing when all throughout the session, both therapists were talking & laughing in their own language. We should have gone to another place. We would not recommend.

This place is crazy!
Had the best massage EVER! I called my masseuse the doctor, because it was like a massage and chiropractic appointment all in one.
I do Crossfit and sometimes I get a little careless in my form and jack my body up.
The Doctor fixed all of that. And the mud sauna is incredible! Felt like I was transported to Mars, lying weightless in a see of red-​brown.

Came here tonight with family after a long day’s work… this spa is a peaceful oasis pretty much next door to me… wish i had found it sooner, but again, better late than never. The place is very clean, peaceful, with good feng shui. They have some green plants by the entramce, marble floors and granite walls with nice decorations on the walls. There are water purifiers in the main room and also in the locker rooms easily accessible. On a friday night it was not crowded also which was nice. When you go into the locker rooms the locker automatically reponds and opens/​closes to the wrist bracelet key and this is so easy to access… very nice technology. They give you the outfits to wear and flip flops… There is a bathroom, hot steam room, 2 water baths and showers… i didn’t use these though. In the main area there are a few rooms; mud balls, sea salt, tv room, and «sleep» room lol. The mud balls reminded me of when i was a kid and would jump into a ball pit… it was sorta like this except the balls are extremely tiny and boy are they hot! They mold to your body and heat it up increasing metabolism and blood flow. Hope this helps my back! and its fun! :) The salt room is hotter and the salt stone is harder and less viscous but still nice. Make sure you bring a water bottle so you don’t pass out in there! they have a clock in each room which is nice so you can make sure you dont over do it… They also have a juice bar and food… we got the mango pineapple which they make in a vitamix from fresh fruits… very tasty and healthy! oh and almost forgot they have these wooden boxes where you can put your feet in and heat them up to a temperature… as well as massages/​scrubs but it was late so i will save that for next time. so all in all a nice way to spend a low key friday night… it is a korean spa but the owners speak fair english and were accommodating… i even watched some korean drama with subtitles lol, but will bring a book with me next time!

Great place very cozy and relaxing, clean great design and wonderful massage therapist.
They also serve food and I love their rice drink.

I had the Swedish massage and it was excellent! I had Hanna and she was really great. The place was clean and peaceful just how I wanted it. At first I was a bit nervous because whenever I get a massage, they do it too hard. But Hanna was excellent and her technique was good. After the massage, I did not want to leave! I felt refresh and my aches the next day went away which helps a lot with my lupus.
I would definitely go back during the week and get another Swedish or even try another kind! I highly recommended this place.

I would come back just for the employees alone. Everyone was nice and helpful but most of it all they made the place feel comfy.
I wandered into this place on purpose and the detox and rest was much needed. I normally don’t find myself dozing off just anywhere but I actually fell asleep for an hour in their rest area. The rest of the time here was taking trips back and forth between steam room and dry sauna. The food was good too, if your gonna try anything opt for the korean sweet rice drink you won’t be disappointed.
The place was so comfy and homey that the thought of living in a spa for the rest of my life actually crossed my mind, I don’t think is possible but it’s just a thought. a girl can dream can’t she?

The fact that this Sauna/​spa opened up right by my house deserves a star from the getgo.
I dropped in with a friend to check the sauna out and was pleasantly surprised with how clean the water was. The locker systems are all digital and because it’s still newly opened there wasn’t much sign of customers. But then again I went at 9pm.
There is a salt room full of pink salt you walk on and lay on and it was pretty refreshing even with the sweat flowing and then the red clay ball room also filled with tiny red clay ball that helps heat your internal organs, but the only downside to the red clay ball room is your hands turn really red/​orangey tone after you come out.
The very minuscule food court-​ish wasn’t open and didn’t have much to serve, but then again it is next door to my apartment so i guess i can just eat at home.
The service and the attendants seem pretty nice and overall not bad for the price of $ 20 per person and $ 15 with a coupon.
