Loved this place! Had drinks at the skybar while waiting shortly for table– both the Model Tea and Harvey’s foghorn were delish. At the grille, our server was awesome. Atmosphere very cool. Dinner was spectacular! You must get the woodgrilled broccoli; it’s so tasty and it’s a sharable amount. Only complaint is that they gave us broccoli as a side to our entrees too. Mahi Mahi was like butter… Sooo good. Lobster tail was ok(we’re from New England and have had better), filet mignon was cooked perfectly. Best meal in Fort Myers.

Downtown Fort Myers with 4 floors of an old building. The rooftop bar is great with heat durning the cool evenings. The food in the restaurant was very good. It is not a cheap, hamburger place but an upscale eating establishment.

Had reservations and got seated immediately. Atmosphere was great(much like the other restaurants owned by the same folks in downtown Ft Myers). Our server was good but the best part was the food! Had the filet and although it was a little pricey for the area, it was a great steak and the potato and veggies were top notch!

Ehh 3 stars because I find myself always going back. Not often just once ever 6 months. Most liked due to the sky bar it’s self it’s clean and the only place local that seems to have roof seating. Drinks are ok. Food is good. Not worth going out of way for. Sky bar is say is good for reuniting with some old friends after a long time. Lolly gag have some drinks listen to ridiculous loud remixes of so called«popular» music that plays on the radio. Ehh.

January 29, 2016 A surprisingly beautiful place in downtown Ft. Myers Florida. The four of us stated off on the hip roof top bar overlooking the Caloosahatchie River. The evening was cool, but the overhead heaters took care of business. We got our text to come to the dining room earlier than we thought so down we go to the dining room. Inside, the décor is 180° from the roof top bar. Brick, dark wood, a large tire with old b&w movies projected inside, items moving up the«factory» walls on pulleys… loads of atmosphere. My date had the salmon, the other couple had a strip and a filet both done to perfection. One of the folks ordered a salad and it was late coming and without prompting, the salad was removed from the bill. I had the butter fish. Geeez Louise was it ever good. Great atmosphere, great food and beverage. Great in all regards.

We arrived in time to watch the sun go down on the fourth floor sky bar. Very nice time there and the view was great. We decided to eat in the restaurant and were directed to a table on the second floor. It was freezing. We asked our waiter, bus boy and another waiter to turn the AC off but to no avail. The food came quick and tasted good but the freeze out game being played ruined it for us. I don’t think we will be back.

Myself and the beloved bride met up with one of my oldest college buddies in Ft. Myers. There was a Harley Festival going on in DT Ft. Myers. After floating down the streets, we chose The FIRESTONE for dinner. Saturday the 9th of Jan. It was quite crowded. We put our name in at the hostess stand. They advised a 35 minute wait. The hostess advised going up to the SKYBAR to wait. We went up the elevator to the 4th floor rooftop. Grabbed the last table over by the interior corner. The views and atmosphere were spectacular. Crowded, not to loud and not too young. That is where we met Sierra Ruis, our server. She pointed out that the full menu was also available up on the roof. BOOM! We finished our drinks ordered our entrees and got ready for the wine. It was about this time that the un-invited but not to be denied guest showed up. An EF-2 Tornado touched down in Cape Coral, just across the river. The satellite TV’s went down. Then the rain started in earnest. All the guests who were standing out from under the awning started moving to in and around the bar and our table. Sierra kept the wine coming and checking up on us. Pretty soon the banner signs were blowing like crazy. Staff had to pull the weather curtain on the elevator doors. But the musician kept playing and the crowd kept partying. Management kept checking the situation out every couple of minutes. The bartenders and servers played it brave. Then the winds started blowing the mugs and wine glasses off the suspended racks above the bar. With glass breaking, napkins flying rain blowing sideways the bosses ordered everyone out via the staircase. The 3rd floor private party room was… occupied by a private party, go figure. Security and management was looking out for all of us. And got soaked for their efforts. While standing in the stair case, young Sierra brought us our next bottle of wine and glasses. Uncorked it and poured. What of our food? Sierra said«I promise you, I will find your food and get you a table». We thought that would be a rather tall order. The seafood was probably blown into the river. The main floor Grille was overflowing(everyone left the streets because of the storm), the Loft was jammed. The wait for a table must have been up to two hours by then. Fearlessly, Sierra beelined for her sister Arianna who happens who works the Loft. A table was cleared for us(Sorry to whom ever got their table hijacked by us). As we settled in, Sensitive Sammy, the new server delivered our meal hot and ready. The meal was FAB! The wine delightful. Sensitive Sammy and Arianna are worthy Greek Deities. But Sierra… she was a Roman Goddess! As we said that night and I’ll say right now. ALLHAILSIERRA. Thanks to all at the Firestone! You guys really delivered. We will be returning.

First let me start by saying, the atmosphere is great. My husband and I went here with our family Halloween eve. The staff was very friendly and dressed in fun costumes. We sat at a large table upstairs overlooking the water and enjoyed the night time ambiance while having a few drinks. My husband ordered steak, which was cooked to his likings. My mother-in-law ordered the sushi, which she couldn’t even give away. In short, the food was sub-par, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was fun. I can’t say we will be going back, unless it’s to the Skybar upstairs. :)

We came here for NYE dinner. The prefix menu was excellent and the red velvet cake for dessert was to die for! Service was very good! My butterfish entrée was to die for and the tuna tartar was perfect! Martini Bar and Skybar was a great spot to see the ball drop and to ring in the new year! Cheers! You’d love this place, unique, nostalgic ambiance of an old tire factory!

For a mid-range restaurant, this one does okay. The restaurant is very prepared to handle people with celiac disease, and they will make any necessary adjustments or substitutions to keep you safe while you’re eating. That’s a major plus for me. In general, the food is good and the décor is fun. The broccoli appetizer(yes broccoli) was interestingly done and the steaks are okay. Nothing to disappoint for the price range. Service is friendly and casual, but competent. If you arrive a little early for dinner, it’s a nice area to walk around. Good option for a casual steak dinner in Fort Myers.

Stopped in to look around with east coast(FL) company. The really neat thing in the building, has to be the tires encircling the ceiling. They are on a conveyer belt, and it made me think of that scene in Beetlejuice when the Maitlands visit Juno for the first time, and are greeted by that guy who’s run over(y’all know what I’m talking about). No, there’s no hangy guy greeting you at Firestone, but there *is* a huge portrait of the Firestone man himself on the back center wall. The bar was big enough(it was regulation size) that it looked comfortable to have a drink and chill, and there, watching one of the handful of TVs with sports on. Take the 4 person elevator to the roof and you’re at the Skybar. The view of downtown is pretty neat from this vantage point. The Caloosahatchee seems to go on forever, and there was a lot of seating. A bar and ample chairs can great you, or you can hang out at one of the tables and traffic watch. The atmosphere in the Skybar felt more like it was for the VIPs than any one else. Everyone is welcome, but the aura was screaming«the beautiful people». Will I be back for a drink or a meal? Perhaps! Time will tell.

I’ve been her a few times visiting Ft. Myers and it’s a beautiful Place and the views from the Skybar are gorgeous! Great place to watch the sunset. I’ve entertained customers there and the experience was mostly positive. The GM worked hard to accommodate me and the everyone was super nice BUT the service was a little slow. I had the Butterfish which was excellent on previous visits but I could tell it had been sitting waiting for the other orders at the table, so a bit cool and not perfect. We had even had slower service up at the Skybar but after there was a server change, things sped up. Overall, everyone was pleased by the meal and atmosphere. One of the nicer places in downtown Ft. Myers and the view is dazzling.

This visit was very disappointing because the dJ was not on top of variety, Security used to be on top Of their game, not anymore I’m kinda disappointed. When I got there, there was a wait but one of the guys was nice and let me up. I felt special. :) other than that it took a while before I got a drink. :(

Second time coming here for dinner and both times it did not fail to be outstanding! Came here for my birthday dinner & the service from beginning to end was amazing. We were allowed to bring our own champagne bottle to celebrate for a very reasonable corkage fee. Extra points for that! I had a party of about 8 people and they did a great job accommodating us with our reservations. Food really is spectacular. Crab cakes: very tasty topped with a delicious mango salsa. Five cheese tortellini topped with grilled salmon: this was the highlight of my night! The tortellini is just as described, cheesy and topped with a creamy Gorgonzola sauce and basil. I was in heaven after devouring this dish! Some of my guests decided to go for the filet mignon special and they all raved about the meat. It was so tender and cooked perfectly paired with what seemed like a sweet potato purée. Kudos to them for the special that night! And for dessert, they brought out for me for my birthday occasion a super yummy although small bread pudding. Everyone enjoyed their meal at the Firestone and if I am ever in the area again, I will make sure to make a 3rd stop here and probably check out the skybar upstairs.

This review is just for the Sky Bar. The bar is open air sitting on top of a very tall building and has the most magnificent view of the harbor in all of Ft. Myers. In four words, breathtaking and very romantic. We were hungry but unfortunately, did not find anything of interest on the appetizer menu. Besides the lack of app choices our server spilled red wine all over the front of my dress. I spent the next five minutes in the ladies room trying to get the stain out. You’d think that if you were served half a glass of wine and were wearing half a glass of wine it might be comp’d but it wasn’t. Oh well, the good news was that since it was about a bazillion degrees outside my dress dried quickly. It’s worth it to go there for the view.

Good food options & bar /kitchen service can make up for bad hospitality(2x in 10 days) up front — loved our apps the steak tips & Calimari. Sitting at the bar can be quite a good place to have your meal & enjoy people watching especially when it’s an early start 5ish on midweek day.
