This is such a cute little salon that I happened to come across while driving the neighborhood. First off, I went in because the name of the salon reminded me of my friend back in San Antonio and thought it would be funny to take a photo of it for her since she’s currently in dental school and said she could always work here as a back up. Either way, I’m glad I tried it out. Stepping into the salon, it’s like a time warp to 1950s, nothing about this place screams modern. They have those overhead hair dryers literally from the 1950s, every chair is filled with golden girls. It’s so adorable! Not an asian person in the building and it was a first time having my eyebrows waxes by a non-asian person. The woman at the desk greeted me and provided EXCELLENT customer service. They don’t have a private wax area, she seated me at the shampoo washing area and put towels under my neck to help support my head. We talked for a few minutes about how I wanted my eyebrows shaped and she really took the time to hear me out. Normally, it’s just in and out and if it looks good great but if they mess up that’s at least three weeks of hair growing to wait on. Needless to say she did a great job and I just enjoyed my experience there hearing all the golden girls chatter. Downside is that this salon is CASH or CHECK only, no credit card. The services they had listed aren’t expensive. Great job place.
