Short review because I really wanted to try the food but this place doesn’t ever seem to open. Went on a Monday at 6pm — the grocery store section was open but the food truck section was closed. Went back at noon on Thursday — closed. 3 stars because I had to put something but I never got to try the food.

Tacos are good. I just hate that the store never opens time. The store hours says 9 till 9. I went there before work and it was still closed at 9:20 am.

Just okay. The carne asada was fatty and flavorless… Asada is the heart of a great Taqueria and my biggest reason for giving this place the two stars. The salsas were lame and not hot at all. On a better not, at least the pastor was spot on for flavor minus it being mild, BUT their burritos only consists of a medium sized flour tortilla with meat… really?! That’s just a really big flour taco. Where’s the rice, refried pinto beans and salsa. Definitely overpriced for what you get. Also, I shouldn’t have to open my burrito to add toppings to it. A good taqueria would serve food that shouldn’t need anything but a squeeze of lime, side of jalapenos and sliced radishes. If you are from the great parts of rural Northern Cali, you shouldn’t compare this place to those taco trucks/taquerias. You will just get your hopes up. I didn’t like it, but I am sure it works for some people. Just not for me and still on the hunt for decent Mexican food in this area.

This is our Go-To west coast style Mexican place! Turned thousands of friends onto it for several beers now. Solid carne asada burritos and the Barbacoa super tacos are bomb! Highly recommend, don’t pass this gem up!

Beautiful Looking Meat Dept. Can’t wait to try pre marianated skirt steak. Talked to the meat guy… he told me everything in the marinade. It smelled wonderful. The tamales are phenomenal. I highly recommend this place! It is not a restuarant… but the food can be had to go any day. As to the friday and weekend taco truck. I personally have not seen it. I will try to go there on a weekend to check it out:)

Solid find! Practically the only Taqueria in Fort Walton Beach. Although the prices for Mexican food can be a little high but definitely worth it.

Recently discovered this grocery store and attached taqueria. The store has a nice selection of hot sauces and other Mexican items that you won’t find at the regular grocery store. Attached is a little food truck under a covered patio area where you can order food. They have tacos, quesadillas, tortas, and I believe burritos too. I had the chorizo taco and a barbacoa taco, each only $ 2.25 and together were very filling. There is a salsa bar as well to add some salsa, fresh chopped onions, or cilantro to your dish as well. Would recommend to anyone wanting some real Mexican food in this area, rather than the same old stuff that they sell everywhere else. Tip for first timers: there isn’t a soda machine, so grab a bottled drink inside the grocery store when you place your order.

Migente, my people, you don’t play around. This place means business. Lengua, buche, torta, when was the last time I saw those lovely words printed on a menu? Not since I left the Mexican ghetto where I lived in LA. Cabeza would be awesome but I ain’t pushin’ it. I have been FEIGNING for good Mexican food more badly than Amy Winehouse in rehab feigned for a drink. Yum yum gimme sum! Due to a misunderstanding on the phone(mi espanol es muy mal), I have not made it to this place for months because I couldn’t understand what their taco truck hours are. But to clear it up people: It’s 4 to 9pm everyday except for Wednesdays. They are closed on Wednesdays. But all other 6 dias de la semana, they are open like the Walmart down the street and you should come and get some. $ 5 burritos, $ 2? tacos, quesadillas, tortas. I got the lengua burrito and foodgasmed all over the place(all over your FACE!) immediately. They had avocado up in there, and none of that stupid rice and beans crap, thankfully. Outdoor seating area, with fans, and no nonsense authentic good eats. This is what I call a keeper.

This review is for their fresh Mexican food that they sell on the weekends and on Fridays. Best Mexican food in Fort Walton Beach, this is as authentic as California/mexican fast food gets. The food and meats are fresh, they have a very limited menu: quesadillas, tacos, tortas and burritos. The place can be a little intimidating if you are not Hispanic, don’t worry about it though! Last time I was here(over a year ago) you have to order inside the grocery store, then bring your ticket to the kitchen thing on the side of the building.

This place smells bad, the pickins are slim and there is no bakery.
