My husband and I came here twice during the recent blizzard because it was the only place that we could walk to and that had tables to sit and eat. Once we had dinner and once we had breakfast. The desayuno salvadoreno is absolutely fantastic. Eggs, fresh bread, beans, plantains, crema, queso fresco, and aguacate. We also had saltenas and pupusas which were delicious. I specifically had the loroco and queso pupusa. We had tiramisu that was fresh out of the oven. Our dinner, which was the fish filet, was just ok. But we most definitely will be back for breakfast!

First off all the prices are ridiculously EXPENSIVE… The food is not good at all, asked if they had guacomole, she said yes from scratch… not even, chicken is dry… pupusa is 2.00…up a dollar from last year… crazy. I will never be back. I work next door and there are hardly people rushing in, and now that the prices have gone up even more, less people come in.

They have such great chicken and service! We were in the area and visiting a friend, and he told us that he wanted to show us this place for some peruvian chicken. There’s such a nice young man at the register who chatted us up as we ordered and helped us choose what we wanted, since it was our first time. He couldn’t have been any more than 12 and we could understand that it was probably family owned. Although we were taking out, they let us eat for a bit in the dining area on the other side before packing up the food and heading back home. It wasn’t busy at all, and everyone was really friendly. The food was great and for the price, we were very satisfied.

Pros: Family run restaurant so the staff is friendly. Dessert drinks are a bit pricey, but a must try. Separate dining area that is good for hosting functions. Cons: Not a fan of the food: Peruvian chicken was dry, yucca was over – fried, and teh salad was bland.

Excellent seafood soup and fresh beef tacos what a pleasant surprise I’m looking forward to trying other items on the menu

I’m sad because I used to love this place and was so happy when I found it last year, but I don’t think I’ll ever go back now. They’ve changed their name but Unilocal provided the new link from their old listing. The last few times I’ve ordered there, a kid has been taking my order. I understand, it’s probably a family run business and he’s probably helping out, but I don’t think he can be more than 12 years old. I have paid for my drinks about 3 times and I have forgotten about them until I’ve gone home. They’re under the counter so they must be handed to you. Sadly, the last time I was there, I was placing my order to go. A woman from the back came out and was speaking to the kid while I was trying to give him my order, which was for their carne asada tacos. I repeated my order again and he wrote it down while he was still conversing with the woman, who had no regards for me even though I was standing in front of them not even looking at the menu, indicating that I was ready to order, for a good 2 minutes before I let my irritated emotions get the best of me and I just told him my order. Anyways, my food was ready in about 20 minutes, and he told me my total, which I was pretty surprised about cause I didn’t think my order of tacos, yuca, 1 pupusa, and 1 drink would cost that much. But whatever, I was already irritated, and made sure that he included my horchata that I mentioned earlier when placing my order, which he then punched into the register and added another $ 3 to my already higher-than-expected total. Even after I signed my receipt, I stood there like a dummy for a good 30 seconds before having to say«…my drink?» Sorry, but like I said, 3 times before he’s forgotten them! I got in my car totally confused. At a red light sometime later, I opened up one of the 2 bigger boxes and realized he gave me my carne asada tacos, AND a carne asada PLATTER. I was PISSED. I didn’t even want to go back and complain. It had been paid for, I could’ve taken the time to review the boxes before I left, I was tired from work, there was traffic heading there and there would be traffic heading home. I gave the unwanted order to my brother and he liked it. I will go back to dining across the WW bridge.

I just discovered Daisy’s recently, so I haven’t had a chance to try many things yet. With that being said, the chicken soup is AMAZING. So delicious — simple, but flavorful and satisfying. I will be back again and again…
