Albertsons

+ The only reason I keep returning to Albertson’s is because they actually have a wide selection of meats without the expensive prices of Trader Joe’s or Central Market
+ Lots of sales and promos on meat or fish, can get a really good deal
— Check the expiration dates for the «fresh» turkey /​bacon, etc wraps because sometimes they’ve been sitting there for about 2 weeks
— The fruits and veggies get ripe and go bad kinda quickly

This was my go-​to grocery store for a long time, until the prices forced me to go back to my demographics proper home base… Wally World. But I enjoy shopping at this location.
The parking lot is interesting; the Albertsons is situated on top of a hill, like some kind of food castle, surveying the land. What this really translates into is that the parking lot entrances are ramps of mystery and suspense as you pull in and swerve hard to the left or the right, trying to avoid whatever SUV or sedan might be creeping your way around the 45° angle (it feeeels that sharp) to the lot.
Once you are inside, the real shopping can begin. They have a great selection of fresh produce. I was always able to find squash, lettuce, and asparagus… My trifecta of vegetable enjoyment. Albertson’s also does this thing where they put out refrigerated displays right when you walk in featuring meat and sides that are part of the «buy one get one free» feature– OR if you’re really lucky– «but one get TWO free». I like that!

I frequent this Albertsons quite a bit because it’s in my neighborhood. I’m now convinced that they can’t be training these folks to offer ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE! I just walked out so frustrated that I wanted to report my experience to the manager but on several occasions I’ve seen the supposed manager acting the fool in the store as well by playing around when customers are around. Sucks!

Big store! Very nice and clean looking. Beautiful floral department, makes me want to smell the roses. Busy on this rainy day, everyone hurrying up before the ice hits us!

I had asked the lady at the deli if she could make me a sub that wasn’t out there, she replied with «I don’t take requests» with an attitude. Omg I was like wow, but she ended up making my order. I had asked for the Italian sub and she made me a whole different sub with only three slices of thin ham and it took about an hour!!! They talked amongst each themselves laughing and looking at me. I wanted a Italian sub!!!

Kudos to Albertsons for providing umbrellas and curbside carryout today during the rain. The customer service here is miles ahead of any other grocers on this side of town.

Constant reorganization, sad workers, poor customer service… yeah, those would net it a low star, but their freezers have gone out multiple timeS letting the food thaw, and the employees I’ve told (again, multiple times) seem to think it is no big deal. I swear to God that I wouldn’t feel comfortable eating any frozen food from this place.

Ya know, I kinda-​sorta agree with tha last reviewer’s comment bout the customer service, however, I live really close and im always in here and the employees are nice enough once they get to know your face. Just walking through there and I could sorta see how you could get the impression the staff is kinda ‘whatever-​ish’. This location is nice and tidy, however, so at least I dont cringe when I walk in the door.
Heres my thing — I dont like going far for groceries. This means I have two options… this Albertson’s or the Walmart nearby. While Albertson’s is definitely a bit more expensive when getting groceries, they have better produce (Walmart’s is laughable at best) and meat and a better deli and beer/​wine selection. Also, im a fan of eating salads for lunch and their bar is quite nice. Their soup selection on the salad bar has a nice gem every few days… the roasted poblano cheddar soup. Its slightly salty, but pretty much like liquid crack. Their fried chicken aint bad either.

Not one of my favorite Albertson’s. Customer Service needs big improvements.
I only go here if it’s a spare of the moment or my location is out of something… That’s All I Have Unilocalers!
