Been to this place a few times now and have had a great experience each time! I would recommend this place to anyone who likes good bbq the loaded frito pie is boss and the potatoe is also off the chain!

I ordered two plates to go. The ribs were delicious but the brisket was dry. I liked the potato salad and the beans. Next time will have only pork ribs!

It’s just a small bbq joint, but so far, we’re impressed! My first visit, I tried the special of the day — loaded baked potato with the chopped beef. That dish alone keeps us coming back! Delicious and very filling! The meat is perfectly smoked and tender and their bbq sauce is equally amazing. The atmosphere is what I expect from a small bbq establishment, and we love the country music they play!

Best place to go for burgers & BBQ. Loaded Potato with chopped beef is outta this world! Try the jalapeño poppers for an appetizer.

A great place to eat delicious brisket, ice cold beer, and enjoy the patio. The service is efficient. It’s a genuine taste of Texas.

Good chopped BBQ sandwich. That’s all I have had here. The baked beans are amazing, so so tasty. The potatoe salad is good, and I usually do not like potato salad, so that’s something good! Cobbler is fair, better with ice cream. The staff is all very nice. The building is comfortable, not fancy, loud music and comfortable seats. They have Bike Night, and bring your dog days (outside). Love the tea, not too sweet like most places.

Great bbq. The food is wonderful and the bbq beans are amazing. The ambience is what you expect from an independent bbq joint. However the bathroom is less than stellar for sure.

Best BBQ in Fort Worth.
So far this is probably the best BBQ in Fort Worth. We had the brisket, sausage, ribs, coleslaw, and bbq beans. Super tasty! The only reason this place got 4 stars and not 5, was because it’s super divey. They really need an overhaul cleaning and updated décor. Service was pretty good, but again they need to do some cleaning.

Only had it once so far… Delicious bbq! I’ll be back for more, and more reviews! Had a sliced brisket sandwich. It definitely hit the spot! Bbq beans are very good with it as well. Small local bbq joint with country music playing and friendly staff. No doubt I will be back!

We rarely eat BBQ, buy this little hole in the wall around the corner from home is a constant threat to our diet. The smells are alluring and the taste is devine. It’s not much to look at, but looks are certainly deceiving when it comes to the flavors. Many thanks.

Best burger I’ve had in years! Place is small, staff is über friendly and service is great! No doubt we will be back. Don’t skip the fries either, they are delish!

This is a great place to eat! My wife at the ham which was excellent. I tried a blue cheeseburger. Yummy. And there ranchero beans seem to be cooked with something that makes them real yummy!

Good but not great. Would I give them another try? Absolutely! Nice folks, good price. I would like to try their brisket right off the smoker, the sample I had tonight was too dry for my taste. So far the best dinner I’ve had on this trip.

This place is amazing! Now with all due respect the place may not look like much, but the food is amazing!!! I always order a Bacon Cheeseburger with fries and a cold beer., and it always hits the spot. The beautiful thing about this place is also the fact that it is a mom and pop shop, Mr. Ray is always very friendly and acknowledges his customers. Never have had a complaint with these guys in the 3 plus years I have been going.

You leave this place smelling like smoke and I mean that in the best way possible. Mesquite wood? mm mm mmm
I get the brisket sandwich, that and the tangy BBQ sauce are addictive to me.

Fantastic hidden gem. BBQ that is not only tasty and consistent but fairly priced. The brisket is among the best I’ve ever had! My favorite though are the ribs. They are cooked to BBQ perfection with a nice crunchy almost sweet exterior and a moist but firm interior that has a nice smokey finish. Mmmmm! Try them and you won’t be disappointed. The burgers are also very good but I don’t order them very much because I love their BBQ so much. They have great sauce that isn’t too sweet but finds a nice balance of smokiness, pepperiness, and tanginess.

Disgusting.
This plays is filthy, there were flys and gnats everywhere. The bathrooms were gross and the hardly any of the tables were clean. I got a chopped beef sandwich and it was too greasy to eat. The fries were way, way over done. Will not be going here again.

Came in on a monday around 7 for dinner. I always know it’s a gamble going at night to a BBQ place, but I figured I’d give this place a try.
Sausage was standard grocery store stuff, but smoked OK. 3 stars out of 5.
Brisket was a little dry and the bark wasn’t as crunchy as it probably was when it first came out of the smoker. I bet the brisket was a lot better at noon then when I was eating it 7 hours later. 3 stars out of 5.
My partner got a baked potato with chopped beef. I tried the chopped beef, it was ok, pretty standard.
Place seemed pretty relaxed. We were the only ones in there eating. The owner was there too, sitting and bullshitting with a couple guys and drinking a beer.
I’ll be back as it’s pretty close to my house, but this doesn’t seem like knock your socks off bbq. Just OK.

Yum, do it and do it often!

The Possums are making this a burger destination. One of us had the swiss burger basket, and wouldn’t hardly share, it was so good. The fries were superb.
The other one of us had the sliced brisket sandwich, which had a beautiful burnt crust with a juicy tender body. For sides we had potato salad (above average, with a bit of spiciness) and pintos (pretty darn good, for beans).
You need to give this place a shot, if only for the fact that it smells so good when you walk in, you want to lick the walls.
