Candlewood Suites Dallas, Ft Worth/Fossil Creek

Extremely hospitable at check in. Carrie Ann was amazing. She is so friendly! Checked in here for 2 nights for business. The rooms are spacious, clean and fully functional. The bed is SUPER comfortable!!! Thanks Candlewood for the fantastic experience.

Stayed here for two weeks during a home renovation with my 3 kids. Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Clean, courteous and convenient.

For the price, one of the best options in the area. Very convenient and plenty of food places within walking distance. Great rooms!

We travel a lot for my husband’s job and have stayed with this chain in several different locations. It is hit or miss with these types of hotels — sorry if that sounds bad but it’s true. These aren’t Crowne Plazas, you know? But with Candlewood we have only had one not so great experience in Houston.
We were at this particular location for two nights. It is in a small area with several other hotels surrounding it. There isn’t much for food immediately around it from what I saw but within 10 – 15 minutes you have plenty to choose from. Across the freeway there are grocery stores, convenience stores, pharmacies, and a lot of fast food options. Up 35N there is a large shopping area called Alliance (I believe). There are more sit-​down types of restaurants there.
This hotel was nice and clean. Sometimes the extended stay hotels can feel run down and we’ve noticed that they can smell. Again, not trying to rude but there are often kitchenettes in the rooms and people cook meals. Not the case here. They had obviously recently been painted and updated, the room and kitchenette were clean, no smells in the hallways. Also, they offer free laundry which is very nice. Attached to the laundry room is a kind of store. They sell sodas, juice, water, and snack foods.
We would definitely stay at this hotel again. The only thing that would keep us from doing so is that it was a just far enough away from my husband’s office to make it inconvenient.
Also, they are dog friendly, and all of the employees we encountered were very friendly.

Very clean. Every front desk clerk was very friendly and good-​humored. Surrounding area seemed safe. A Waffle House just around the corner. Would definitely stay here again.
