I went here after reading reviews here on Unilocal and because the place I used to go is now closed. The ladies were not terribly friendly when I entered and my pedicure was just ok. My manicure was rushed and terrible. The girl made me bleed twice after she cut me with the cuticle scissors. When I went to pay, the price I was quoted was higher than their posted prices and they didn’t coherently explain the discrepancy. They do NOT offer a student discount, at least not to me. For the price I paid, $ 35 for a mani/pedi, I could have gone to a much nicer place than this dump.

Great job on pedicure and very friendly service. Oh, and get the upgraded scrub for your legs, it feels heavenly. The attention and price you pay is much better than average. They even offer student discounts :)

Their eyebrow waxing is great. I’m always pleased with the results. They only wax exactly what I ask them to do. Too often I’ve gone to other salons and left with near pencil thin eyebrows. I like to keep mine highly arched and pretty thick. Cindy is great, but the other ladies do a good job as well. My only concern is the cleanliness of the waxing area. I’ve seen them use the same stick, heavy with glopped on wax from previous use, on customer after customer. I always request they use a new stick for me. I’m not sure how much that does in terms of sanitation, since they’re dipping into the same wax, but I haven’t had any problems so far. You’ll definitely leave with pretty hands and feet if you decide to get a manicure or pedicure here. My friends love their Shellac. They don’t have a huge selection of polishes, just enough to make your decision difficult. They’re always busy, especially toward the weekend. I’ve waited up to an hour just for an eyebrow wax. Also, get there early, they close at 7. While it looks like a dump from the outside, they do great work. I have to knock a star off for their reuse of the waxing sticks.
