I came with a party of four– we all had steaks and the coconut cream cake for dessert. The service was good, our steaks and sides were very good. I highly recommend the coconut cream. My only complaint is that the tables are very close together and the restaurant was REALLY loud. Overall it was a good dining experience.

I went to Del Frisco’s in Sundance Square on a Saturday afternoon for brunch. From the moment that I entered the restaurant I could tell that it was a well run restaurant with friendly staff. The booths on the 2nd Floor have a nice view of Sundance Square. Tony was our server. He was outstanding. The Bloody Mary was well made. I ordered the Green Chile Cheeseburger with Sweet Potato fries. The Nutella Bread Pudding for dessert was the perfect finish for a great dining experience. The only reason that it did not get 5 stars was because there was not a Saturday brunch menu. This was my fault for not checking. Other than this it was a great experience worth the drive from Dallas.

It’s unfortunate that I need to drop my rating, as the food has remained consistently good, but the service has really fallen off in recent months, particularly at the bar(s). A typical recent visit included the following: bar not wiped of previous patron’s spills; had to ask for place setting and silverware; had to ask for water; no timely drink refill nor check in on food satisfaction; inability to process Rare Rewards properly; other diners around me made to wait long minutes before drink and food orders taken. Perhaps the coup de grace was the bartender who made me something other than what I ordered — then poured out the incorrect drink — then made the correct one ALLUSINGTHESAMEGLASS. Are you kidding? This all points to a training issue coupled with lax management. It’s a shame DFG has fallen off like this.

Let me start off by saying that our food was good. That is the only reason for the second star. After more than 30 minutes passing since we placed our order on a slow Sunday evening we flagged down our server and he blamed a paper jam on the printer in the kitchen. He said they were rushing our food and it would be out shortly. 15 minutes more no food, no server, no manager. 5 more minutes the server told us 10 seconds more. We asked why a manager hadn’t come by to see us. Eventually a manager did stop by and told us the kitchen was busy and he didn’t know anything about a paper jam. So at this point we realized that our server had been lying to us and hadn’t turned in our order. Of course it’s easier to throw the kitchen under the bus that to tell the truth. When the food did get there, about an hour after we ordered it(a really long time for a piece of salmon and a medium rare steak) it was good. The server wouldn’t stop hovering and continued to ask us not to be mad at him and he would get us a free desert. It was a poor experience over all. We saw a server drop some plates which happens, but then watched as server after server ignored the chicken bone and the salad dressing on the floor. After about 10 minutes when they saw me take a picture of it someone cleaned it up. Bathroom was not very clean at all either. Now I’m wondering if 2 stars is too generous.

Sat at the bar and ate dinner by myself. The ahi tuna tacos and the crab cake is my absolute Favorite from here I love coming here to eat these things! Of. And the skinny cosmo is nothing to sneeze at either.

We waited about 15 minutes even though we had reservations, so that’s the only reason I knocked off a star. But BAAAAAYBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY those BBQ shirmp was off da chain! The had a quick to them so if you are not a fan of spicy then you might not want to get em. And if you do get em you have to eat them with the shell on… trust me, that’s how you trap all that good flavor. Listen to me, my entrée was good(steak sandwich), my glass of wine was good(Merlot), but that bbq shrimp appetizer will be my reason for coming back.

Lamb is one of those things that can be done terribly, or done right. But when I see a lamb burger on the menu, I tend to gravitate to it. I mean, burgers are pretty forgiving, what with the bun and the fixins and such. I’m happy to say that the lamb burger didn’t need much help from its accoutrements to shine. Maybe a touch of salt, but otherwise it was a great change of pace from other burgers. The bun was nice, soft, but stood up to compression. And it’s served topped with greens that are tossed in tzatziki sauce. I would have loved it to be a little more tzatziki-messy, but keeping it clean is a chef’s choice that I’ll honor. After all, if it dripped in the white sauce, I’d probably complain that it overpowered the lamb. I had to get an order of frites(don’t call them fries… they’re more fancy if you call them frites) which came with what I can only describe as the most adorable tiny ketchup bottle on the planet. I asked the server who said they’re a pain to wash. But bless you, tiny ketchup bottle washing crew, for they are adorable and I’d order frites again just to individually apply ketchup to them, all over again. We had a late lunch and it was nearly empty, so service was quick and we got our food fast. It was quiet, and while not the most inexpensive lunch on the block, the bright atmosphere and solid menu makes it a reliable one. **Full disclosure: I really wanted to take home that little bottle of ketchup. It’s beyond adorable. Like, I think about it a lot. And I think about spending time together with it, vacationing together, staying in on a cold night or hitting the beach together. The times we would have, just me and my bbae(bottle before anyone else). That sounds like a happy way to live.

Very nice place! We got a booth on a window were we could see sundance square. Of course there was a waiting list and we had to hang out at the bar for about 30 minutes. The place was busy. Looks like that is a common thing there. Service was slow. We ordered two appetizers«wild mushroom flat bread with trufle oil and grilled artichokes both delicious. I had house steak salad and loved it! My girlfriend had the tuna salad what she said was perfect but my friends hanger steak was tuff… There was not toilet paper in the bathroom by 9:45 pm … Overall I liked ! It’s a fun place!

Nice busy place w/fine svc but the food stinks. Guacamole was terrible. No flavor. Grilled artichokes were also bland. They lacked any smoky grilled flavor. Houston’s crushes Del Friscos grilled artichokes. The cheese steak egg rolls were good but how could they not be? The Bloody Mary was undrinkable. Note to Del Friscos, use Zing Zang or Ballast Point mix b/c whatever you’re using or maybe you’re making your own mix isn’t happening. This place survives b/c of location. Certainly won’t be returning for glorified bland bar food.

With a great patio on Sundance Square, Del Frisco Grill is a great option on a gorgeous fall day. My co-worker and I had lunch here on the patio. The service is outstanding. They offer a nice lunch menu and a pairing for just $ 12. We started with the grilled artichoke. We may be a little slow, buyer couldn’t figure out hot to eat it! It was sliced in half and grilled. After fussing around with it, we finally gave up. I ordered the spicy meatball flatbread, which was fantastic. The crust is nice and thin, just cooked perfectly. We were able to get in, eat and out of there under an hour! If you are looking for a great patio restaurant in Downtown Fort Worth, give Del Friscos Grill a try, you will not be disappointed. They also have a great dinner menu.

The place is a little pricey, but the service and food are up to par for being in the square and deserving of the price. The seater told us there was an hour wait but when we started to leave observed people leaving the bar and told us about it in time for us to be able to grab a chair. Professional and as if he really wanted us to be there and enjoy ourselves which was a major plus. Bartender Nick was gracious but casual and got us taken care of. We started with cheesesteak rolls which were fantastic(like they are made onsite). I had the lamb burger which exceeded my expectations, the pork chop got a shining review from my buddy, and the steak sandwich was gone before I asked about how it tasted. The atmosphere wasn’t too loud, refined and yet classy, and you can see the square from the bar. We will certainly remember our visit and be back when we are looking to relax after the next conference.

We came here tonight for Restaurant Week with family. I booked in advance, however, it still took us about five to ten minutes to be seated. I started off with the Cesar salad for my first course. When it arrived at the table, I was surprised by how large it was. They definitely did not skimp on the portion sizes. The croutons were delicious and added a good textural piece to the salad. It was a tad overdressed — but I still scarfed down the entire bowl. For my entrée, I chose the Del Frisco burger. This came with two parties and a side of fries. They didn’t ask how I would prefer the burger, so I was pleasantly surprised to see a thin layer of pink on one of the patties. The burger had great flavor and was really filling. The fries, unfortunately, left a lot to be desired. Dessert was my favorite part of our meal. My husband and I split the Nutella bread pudding with coffee ice cream. It was just enough to split and we fought over the last bite. I would hands down order this again. Overall, this was a good dining experience. Parking is tricky because it is right in Sundance Square. However, weekend parking is free in Fort Worth.

Del Frisco’s Grille is like an upscale Chili’s. The food is good(not great) and I actually think it’s better for lunch than dinner. For dinner the prices just don’t match the quality. For lunch I’ve had their Grab A Pair, which lets you choose a personal size flatbread and then either a salad or cup of soup. It’s a good option, not too much food, for $ 11.50. I’ve also had their Gulf Coast Fish Tacos and they were super messy, but good. Might work better if they weren’t served so loaded down. For dinner I tried their salmon. I requested medium rare, but got something a little beyond medium. Probably my fault though. Who orders fish at Del Frisco’s anyway? The restaurant faces out onto the lovely Sundance Square Plaza, so if the weather is nice, eat outside on their patio! I think the interior space is way too dark and clubby.

I’ve been to both in Ft. Worth and Dallas location and each time, the service is spot on. Watched American Pharaoh win the Derby then the triple crown. Maybe Holly and I were good luck charms! The drinks are splendid. We had a vodka cucumber and mint drink which was refreshing subtle but potent. The kale and quinoa w/grilled chicken was well done. The pretzels are a must(I’m a carbosaurs and there some of the best outside of Philly.) They menu is filled w/selections and the rooftop at both warrants a seat. Enjoy

This is my 2nd review! Brunch was delicious! Made reservations last min for brunch for 2. Arrived early, seated quickly upstairs, by the window, great view btw! Ordered the grilled eggs Benedict, red velvet waffles, and pasta. Everything was perfect! Red velvet waffles are a must! My 2nd time around was a lot better.

I tried the two mega-hits as per the Unilocal reviews I consulted: the banana stuffed french toast and the eggs Benedict with chipotle hollandaise. Overall, the food and the ambiance were underwhelming. The chipotle sauce was good, but not on eggs-Benny – plus, the biscuit that they serve instead of an English muffin is just too dense to mesh with the other ingredients. I liked my view of Sundance Square, but I didn’t really think the food was worth the price or hype.

After a fun day at the zoo, I had a delicious dinner at Del Frisco’s Grille. Since it was so nice outside, it was outdoor seating! I was pleasantly surprised by the outdoor patio area, which has comfortable couches, booths and tables paired with umbrellas and electric radiant heaters. While the lump crabcake was delicious, it did not look like the crabcake I had ordered on a previous visit… in fact, it was more like a «crabcake hash» than a true cake per se… it just looked like it was rushed out of the kitchen. The steak sandwich was delicious, served with perfectly crispy fries and a cup of au jus(and a small pot of horseradish sauce). I will come again, but I’m not sure I would have the crab«cake» again.

Since we hadn’t been downtown yet to see the Tree in Sundance Square and enjoy just the holiday feel that Downtown Fort Worth always offers up, we decided to meet up with some friends at Del Frisco’s Grille on a Sunday night. For the appetizers, I heard the Cheesesteak Eggrolls were awesome, so we went with those. They definitely lived up to their billing as everyone in the group loved them. I was a bit conflicted on what to order for my main course, but ultimately opted for the Mesquite Pork Chop. Usually I am loathe to order pork chops from restaurants, even those as polished as Del Frisco’s and Co., usually because it is so difficult to get a pork chop right. More often than not they are pretty thin and dry. Some Pork Chops too thick end up being a bit rare which isn’t good for pork items usually. But, this pork chop, has to be the thickest one I’ve ever seen served. From afar you would mistake it for a rib eye or some other delicious baseball-cut steak. To my satisfaction, the pork chop was cooked perfectly, not dry but also not rare either. A solid, delicious piece of meat. Everyone in our group enjoyed their outing as well and, with the new development of Sundance Square(you know, actually making it into a square) and the additions of such good eats of Del Frisco’s Grille and Bird Café, it seems that Downtown is finally getting some of its mojo back that was stolen from the West 7th development. Del Frisco’s Grille makes for a great dinner outing in a prime location downtown and for you pork chop lovers, is a must try.
