Eagle’s Nest Sports Bar

Our second stop in Ft Worth was a sports bar in a strip mall called Eagle’s Nest. The first second I walked in I thought two things: «woah, where did all the youngsters come from?» and «turns out douchebags go out in Ft Worth too!» There were a few 21 year olds running around too drunk to be in public and a couple of guys with tight Ed Hardy shirts on and gelled up hair standing at the bar flexing their arms. hehe
So I assume sometimes this is a sports bar, but last night it was totally a dance bar. The lights were down, there were laser lights going, the DJ was talking to the crowd on the mic, and people were drunkenly dancing the night away. I spotted one guy on the dance floor grinding on a chick while pulling up his shirt to show his abs. HAHA nice. They did play some good music though and I even found myself out there a few times (like when they played Journey baby!!). There’s no smoking inside, but there’s a huge patio that runs all around the outside of the bar and they have heat lamps out there for when it is cold. The bartenders appeared to be all girls but they were friendly and quick with the booze. Apparently also generous with the booze since the end of the evening is hazy!
If I lived out there I probably would never go there on the weekends, but for last night’s purposes it was a-​ok!
