These guys know their stuff even if I’m buying used personally (and not from them) they don’t take it to heart they give me their honest opinion about the product I’m buying and the worth which is great it’s made me come back and buy new from them! Being a beginner and not knowing what I wanted from what I needed so it was nice to try a few used learned what I loved and invested my money here new! And I never felt like there was something I could ask and they wouldn’t know the answer ! They’re great

This place was a life saver. We had been screwed over by Staples, Office Depot, and a few other Camera shops were not able to print our Wedding photo’s. They either had a machine down or had issues with not receiving out photos. We are in a panic with our wedding being The next day and not a successful place to print. We sent the order over at midnight on the 30^th of October and called the following morning to be told the would absolutely be able to have out prints done on the 31^st even though their normal person who did the enlarges prints was not in. We received all our prints at Noon giving us perfect amount of time to get them to the venues needed. They were very pleasant to work with and the photo quality was excellent especially the 8X10 portrait we were worried the most about. Couldn’t have been happier with our prints.

I have rented plenty but this is the 3^rd time in a row that I have rented a lens and there is no hood cap to be found. This is so disappointing. This should be a standard in all rentals. I have boasted Ft. Worth Camera to so so many folks and I can’t do that with good faith any longer. When I rent something, I expect to have it all there. I was put in a very tight spot. I HAVE to have the lens, I can’t just say never-​mind this wedding can do without. I received no apology, no excuse, nothing except a blank stare saying he didn’t know what to tell me. THEN he left me standing there to go ring up a customer. WAIT — I am here first. I am speaking to you and you feel the need to walk away?

We went here basically looking for advice on a new lens for our Canon Cameras. We had every intention to buy online, but wanted to speak with someone knowledgeable about the options before sealing the deal. We pulled up to the store, and expected that it would be a little run down with little stock, but were pleasantly surprised! The place was buzzing with customers when we got there (glad to see a local business getting support). They also had a Canon representative on site, which was very fortunate for us. We had to wait a little while to talk to someone due to the amount of customers in the store, but we made use of the time by shopping for accessories. When we did speak to the Canon rep, as well as an employee of the store, we were treated like a customer should be treated. They didn’t hesitate to answer our questions, even letting us get our hands on different camera bodies and different lenses so that we could actually get a feel for what they were talking about. We eventually decided to buy our new camera, lens, two camera bags, etc. that day in store due to the positive experience. While checking out, the manager came up and introduced himself, and was very friendly to both of us. i would say DEFINITELY GO TO THIS STORE FOR ALL YOUR CAMERA NEEDS!

Always super helpful. Can sometimes be snooty, but if you’re clear you’re a beginner they will take time to help you. They’re not the cheapest out there, but they do a great job at what they do, so it’s understood that the expertise costs a little. They have camera rentals that got me out of a jam a few times too. Keep It local.

As a beginner photographer I thought that Fort Worth Camera Supply was very helpful in assessing my needs and getting me a set up that would work best for me. I came in basically knowing the camera I wanted, but the staff gave me good advice on how to protect my camera. They have in-​house insurance that covers all damage to your camera (besides lost/​stolen), which is perfect for me as I like to take outdoorsy pictures. The insurance also gives you 6 free cleanings of your camera over the 3-​year life of the plan.
The reason I have to give them a 4 is because I really wanted to find a good camera bag and it seemed like all of the bags were very overpriced. Overall, it was great experience and I’m glad I took my business to Fort Worth Camera Supply!

Fort Worth Camera is a great camera store in Fort Worth. They have very knowledgeable staff and competitive prices. They don’t necessarily beat online prices but they are not far behind, most importantly you get to see and handle the product and talk to the staff before buying. As a professional photographer and owner of Igor Photography I always feel that the have a very good stock of items and great support. Support your local camera store!

I really want to help out small local businesses but I find that Fort Worth Camera makes it hard. The employee who sold me insurance on my DSLR couldn’t tell me what it was he was selling me. He gave me all sorts of misinformation. I’ve also had very negative experiences when calling in with questions. As a customer, I don’t like feeling like legitimate questions make me a nuisance. Sad to say, I’d probably go to Best Buy next time.

I came here completely new to buying cameras and no idea what I wanted. After talking with one of the employees (all of whom are friendly), she put in my hands a used camera that was, to my knowledge, exactly what I wanted at just the right price. But to be sure, I called my professional photographer friend (who worked for Star Telegram no less!) to double check. She said they were spot on in both fitting me with the right camera and the price. I have since taken MANY a picture and am in deep, deep camera love.
