My girlfriend and I tried this place as a result of Unilocal and once again we were not steered wrong. Kincaids has a small town burger joint feel to it. From bikers to ranchers everyone comes to this burger joint. The interior looks like a typical burger joint that had been around for decades and I think it adds character to the establishment. There are lunch counters for people to stand and eat or there are tables as well. We came up to the front counter and ordered our food. We both got cheese burgers with crinkle cut fries. The burgers were fresh and full of flavor. The burger meat was definitely not frozen. The burger buns were buttered which gave it a kick of flavor, not to mention that the buns were fresh as well. The fries were crispy and not soggy. In my opinion the crispier the fries the better. All in all if you are looking for a good local burger joint Kincaids would most certainly be on my list.

Like this place, it has a nice charm. Is it the best burger in town? No. But it is a good burger. The fries though are a real disappointment for me, and I feel like a good burger without good fries is incomplete.

In Ft Worth for business and was asking some locals for places to eat. The most suggested was Kincaids. It was better than expected. If you looking to just have a really good unhealthy hamburger then Kincaids is for you.

Best burger in Fort Worth, Texas in my opinion. Located on Camp Bowie’s iconic red brick road. This location was opened in 1947 by Charles Kincaid.

This review is for the Camp Bowie location only — the original. One of the best burger joints I’ve ever been to. It doesn’t need a gimmick like bizarre ingredients or a weird name and it doesn’t concern itself with being trendy. It just serves good burgers, hot dogs, fries and onion rings. And it’s easy on the pocketbook too — unless you go crazy you should be able to keep it to under $ 10 a person.

The best! Most consistent burgers, always cooked just right. We go because of the atmosphere! Old school burger restaurant set up, rare find.

Okay, tbh maybe not the best burger in town but it’s delicious and they have good consistency. This place has also been around forever and has been providing dope ass hamburgers long before burger spots started popping up all over town. Grab a burg then pop over to the dive bar next door and grab a cold one.

This is my family’s Favorite burger place. We came here 12 years ago and have enjoyed their simple menu and great food ever since. We tend to go to the Camp Bowie location more than Hulen, but that is just because of proximity.

Kincaid’s market is just great old fashioned hamburgers and fries, like you would make at home. Setting is low-key and popular with lunchtime work crowd. It is a great place to go for good food and no nonsense, if you follow my expression.

Cow town deluxe and fried okra PERFECT fried okra. AMAZING burger w/BBQ sauce and onion rings. Very unique atmosphere in an old style grocery(no longer a store), with standing bars and picnic style tables.

This is definitely a Fort Worth institution. I can’t say I am a huge fan of the burgers though. My hubby loves them. He gets cravings for them and enjoys the time he can snag lunch there and not have the burger hater in tow! I do love the deviled eggs. They are so good. The crinkle cut fries are too! The burgers are just too greasy for me. Sorry!

Fort Worth staple. Must try burgers, cooked to order. The meat starts out as one big ball of beef, and cooks into a fat patty of heaven. The fries are good, onion rings WAY overpriced. It is in an old grocery store with a few items still on the shelf. Make sure you check in when you get there for a free drink, that’ll save you $ 2 right of the bat. I love coming here and have for decades. If you have not tried it, and you are a hamburger person, get here. Good for people watching as well…

Kincaids serves Black angus burgers it’s a simple menu and and Arlington Heights icon, It’s been around since 1946 and the original location of 6 stores now I go for the traditional cheeseburger and crinkle cut fries, I enjoy sitting there in the old market looking out to Camp Bowie while enjoying the burger the history on walls and shelves from the old market just adds to the moment good friendly folk and food

One of the Best Burgers I have ever had and the hand cut fries were awesome! Love that this once grocery store started letting an employee start serving hamburgers over 50 years ago and the burgers are what have lasted the test of time!

BESTBURGERS in FW — EATTHECOWTOWNDELUXHERENOW!!! There’s a reason that Kinkaid’s finally got out of the grocery business and became simply a burger place. Google to see the accolades — they are too numerous to list. Kinkaid’s has been an Arlington Heights institution since 1946. Everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY in FW eats here. From the wealthiest ranchers to the most powerful politicians to the humblest among us, everybody comes to Kinkaid’s. Burgers come in two sizes, ¼ lb. and ½ lb. You can get a variety of sides with your burger, all homemade or locally made. The homemade sides include fried okra, hand cut onion rings, and deviled eggs. Local made side is a big fat fresh Best Maid dill pickle, made over on the near South side of FW. Our party of four got three bacon cheeseburgers and one Cowtown Deluxe burger. ALL burgers were delicious, made with freshly ground never frozen beef, served hot on crispy buttered buns. But the Cowtown Delux was special. It comes topped with homemade pimento cheese, grilled jalapeños, crispy applewood smoked bacon, sweet grilled onions, and a smear of mustard. O M G this was the best burger I have ever had. Know somebody who needs a meal and can’t afford one? An anonymous diner has set up an account to buy a hungry person a meal with no loss of dignity.

Best hamburgers in Fort Worth! Friendly, fast and great atmosphere to boot. I treated a group of photographers to lunch at this unique«old country charm» establishment last year during a busy day of filming and everyone loved it. Can’t wait to treat the Good Clean Fun Crew to a down home burger with creative atmosphere on Camp Bowie Blvd #fortworthfriendly

Solid grass-fed burgers, but for a pretty hefty price of $ 6-$ 8 for the regular size. Burger patties always taste fresh and juicy! They have a special burger served with a sweet barbecue sauce, melted cheddar, and a fried onion ring, and it’s definitely my favorite one to get: SUPER flavorful, juicy, and very, very delicious. & this burger goes perfectly with a milkshake on the side. Their vanilla milkshake is solid, but I’ve also had the peppermint white chocolate one which was insanely delicious mmm.

Honestly, if they toasted their buns, I probably would have enjoyed my burger more. I can tell they use high quality beef, but the bun gets soggy and brings the flavor down. Its better than Wendy’s, but its nothing to brag about. The atmosphere is cool though.

Not worth it. They have grass fed patties which is why they are more expensive, but the patties are SMALL. They buns are GREASY and you get toppings but in a portion that’s barely there. The onion rings are decent & their jalepeno poppers are good. Their shakes are good if you can get one that isn’t melted. DONOT try to cater from any kincaids. I have ordered for corporate lunches and they can NEVER get it right; they take took long(have waited over 45 minutes after arriving to pick up) and the bags get so greasy. You can get a 4 pack of grass fed burger patties for the price as one of these burgers, DO that instead!

A serious grievance I have committed against the food gods. Living in Fort Worth for over 20 years now, I have yet to do a Kincaid’s review. I was reminded of this on our recent trip, so here is my attempt to assuage the anger of the food gods. I have always felt that Kincaid’s is the baseline for which other burger places in Fort Worth to be graded upon. It is largely no-frills: the old grocery store set up and relatively simple menu. I think, with the proliferation of burger culture not only nationwide, but also in DFW, it is really hard to grade great burgers from awesome ones. I think the best way to go about it, is to divide the burger restaurant population into two sub-groups: traditional and non-traditional. The former being the likes of Kincaid’s and Fred’s and the latter being the likes of Magnolia Motor Lounge and Rodeo Goat. For me, Kincaids is my favorite traditional burger: simple, unseasoned hand-formed patties, fresh cut veggies, and a bun that just loves to fall apart on you. I’ve never much liked their crinkle cut fries, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t cooked well. The standard order for me is their cheeseburger, all the fixings, except for mustard and mayo. A great burger still being served up by a Fort Worth institution. I will note that Kincaid’s had two new burgers available as well, which fall into the non-traditional category, so maybe my next outing I deviate and those out.
