Magnolia Avenue Salon is one of Tarrant County’s best. The staff are well-​trained and passionate about their craft. I’ve been so pleased with the skill and care of Meagan that I’ve been coming here for 5 years. If you are looking for a change or your new go-​to salon, this is your place. Amy Mcdade was my stylist and she’s fantastic. She’s very skilled, and she’s definitely a perfectionist. She’s overall just nice to hang out with, she’s super cool, and made my hair look fantastic. I have mixed curly hair and I wanted to dye it purple. She dyed it a few different shades of purple and applied the color in way that won’t grow in weirdly, and it’s REALLY beautiful. The cut is also a difficult one, and she totally mastered it. It’s basically and asymmetrical bob, and it’s the best haircut I’ve ever had in my life! I get compliments several times a day on my new hair. Thanks Amy McDade!

For me going to a salon is an opportunity to relax and unwind while at the same time give attention to my appearance and mental well-​being. As a busy, working gal, (as we all are — in one way or another) taking care of me tends to fall toward the bottom of the list. Thus, a salon and most importantly, a stylist who puts me at the top of the list when I am in his/​her chair earns BIG points with me. Tabby is great at this area of customer service. She is kind, sincere & attentive.
Next, I am extremely pleased with Tabby’s skills. My cuts are even and easy to maintain. She makes sure that she asks good questions to ensure that we are on the same page about the look. She does a wonderful shampoo with an in-​depth scalp massage which I really enjoy.
Most of all, I love her color technique. I have been to lots of salons all over the country — East Coast to West and this is my absolute favorite. I believe it is because she does a great consultation. She really studies your skin tone & your eye tone. Then, she listens to the color that you want. Based on those 3 factors, she custom creates the color shade that is right for you. The result is natural and the shine is amazing.

7. Many stylists start well but once you become a regular, they become sloppy or less conscientious. So far, every time I have been to Tabby, she has been delightful & treated me with great respect, genuine concern for my wishes & a desire to do her best.
While I may sound like an advertisement for this salon, I actually found it thanks to my teenage son. He tried it because of the great Unilocal reviews and thought that I would like it. He was right!

My first time changing stylist in 11 years! Looked this place up on yell and got an appointment with Tabbi. She did an phenomenal job! Very sweet and so fun to talk to. Will definitely be a regular here!

Tabby is outstanding! She is friendly, precise, and skilled! I recently moved to Fort Worth from out of state. I was nervous about getting a haircut here after being with my previous stylist for so long. After hearing good things about Magnolia Ave I made an appointment with Tabby. I’m so glad I did! She truly takes the time to listen to your needs and is precise in the execution of your requests. Definitely a first-​tier professional!

I went here for coloring. They RUINED my hair. It is now brittle and destroyed. The result of the first treatment looked exactly like my hair did before I went it. I complained and received a «re-​do» which ended up being a torcher session. The hair dresser somehow turned my hair into a rat’s nest and proceeded to try and get the knots out with a small comb while my head was wet and reclining back into the sink. This went on for at least 30 minutes. I have no idea what she was doing or what she did to get it like that in the first place, but I was speachless.
There is a reason why Paul Mitchell salons are only something you find in a mall in real cities. Another failed attempt at Fort Worth trying to come up.

I love Magnolia Salon and have been a client since TJ moved there. The salon is attractive and fun. TJ is THE BEST. I’ll be with Magnolia as long as TJ is with Magnolia. I suspect I’ll always be a Magnolia Salon client.

I’ve been going here for 8+ years, including the two years I lived 6 hours away from nursing school– I would drive back to FW for my haircuts! Tim and Donna are amazing and I always feel like family when I walk in. Products are top notch and the cuts are always fantastic! I have very thick, very curly hair and it always looks FANTASTIC when I leave! I used to straighten my hair EVERY day but Tim taught me what products to use and how do to my hair to help me love my curls!

I came here to change my hair color from «light brown» to «strawberry blond» and ended up with horrible «dark red» and the color wasn’t even, long story short I left the salon with more than four different reds on my hair. The hair stylist didn’t seem to mind it. Ewwhh it’s not bad, she said. I left the salon tearing.
I would never go back there again.

By FAR the best salon in Fort Worth! The atmosphere is great, the people are even better, and they all really know their stuff. Amazing for short hair, curly hair, color and everything in between! I had to move away and I still haven’t found any place even close to being as good!

My favorite salon in Ft Worth. Richard is my stylist & the salon offers the most personal & professional service I’ve ever received. The salon offers the latest Paul Mitchell products & all the current trends. Give them a call you won’t be disappointed.

Loved this salon for two years, referred everyone I knew. TJ is very talented, went from blonde to brunette to in between over that time. Until my last visit with TJ when I left the salon looking like I had done my hair at home, that ugly yellow/​brassy color that happens when hair is not processed long enough, as well as tiger strippes in my inner layers due to foils being done in a hurry. Everyone has a bad day, so asked for an appointment to have it corrected and I was ignored and dismissed even after spending $ 300 or more every visit for two years. Went to Salon Moda and saw Erica, she fixed my hair in less than an hour and only charged me $ 50. Save your time and money.

Since moving to Fort Worth — I had to find a new hair salon to go to because after my wedding mishap with my hair lady in Dallas — it definitely wasn’t worth the drive to go over there anymore! Thank goodness for hairdresser friends! My first time at Magnolia was on NYE… and Desirae did such a great job on my hair (even put curls in that stayed curly all night!!!), I went back to see her last weekend! This is such a nice place — very hip and everyone is really nice and offers you drinks. All of their hair products smell wonderful as well! If you are looking for a great haircut — this place is awesome!

Donna has been cutting my hair for probably over 25 years, and she and husband Tim bought out Magnolia several years ago and have pretty well transformed it into a high quality salon with what appears to me to be a full range of services. I get simple haircuts, so I don’t know the full details, but whenever I go in there are pleny of customers getting obvious hair treatments and colorings, and the amount of customers appears to be growing as well. They do local arts or music events every now and then but never been to one. I think they are reasonably price, and I know I’m a satisfied customer.

I am only not giving 5 stars as I have only been there once and I do not want to go overboard. I needed a last minute apt and they got me right in! i am talking 45minutes after I called them! That is unheard of! Then I met Chyenne my new fav stylist who gave me exactly what I wanted. This place is clean, fair priced and set up really neat inside! I have been looking for a place like this for years now and have finally found someplace I will def go back to again and again!
