Majestic Liquor Stores

30% off… was still more than buying regular price at central mkt for wine… odd…mostly picked over… when we went to visit… but I think they went out of business after they closed for the ol’ bankruptcy.

So this location is great because Prima Pasta next door is ‘Bring Your Own Wine’- but now that the location is closing and liquidating, its going to be a down-​point.
Found a great deal on the rare Woodford Reserve Master Distillers Collection, Aged and Unaged Rye whiskeys… Don’t go looking for them there though, they’re at my place now…

No Liquor till January because they didn’t pay their License is what a worker told my wife. This place is not friendly at all, it’s like they all hate their job or boss or whatever. We only went their because it is close but we found a new place that just opened.

They are a little show in getting the newer stuff but they do have just as good or better variety of choice than the next closest liquor store in the area. I must say that the employees are laid back (like the kind of people I’d hang out with), very nice and always very helpful. That kinda makes up for what little is lacking in the store.

Okay! Let me set up this review…
Time was ticking before my girls were to be at the house for our «Sistas Night.
Preparing everything and getting to the frozen margaritas, I looked in the freezer and was totally out of the mixer. ((WTH!!))
With only minutes and thinking of the nearest liquor store. That was Majestic.
Rushed over and went in but there was no frozen mixer to be found. NONE!!! In a panic I summoned the manager he states that they no longer carry any and tried to convience me to buy the liquid form but it does’nt have the same consistency to me.
This location has never been one of my favorite. Just don’t like the layout of the store. I hate they closed the one off Bryant Irving it was so much better than this one and they always had a variety of sampling going on when shopping.
I will give ****‘s to that young cutie-​pie at checkout. He was very helpful and suggestive… Smooches :()
All else didn’t fail. Made a quick dash into Kroger and… DAAAAAAA ((singing)) there it was, my frozen mixer. And the price wasn’t bad so I stocked up. THE END…
