I’m giving high marks to Maxine’s because it’s hard to find a good dive bar around town these days and this place is a good one. I didn’t review after my first visit about a year ago because I was there with some friends that were obviously VIPs there from the service and attention we attracted upon our arrival. This time I was with other, less popular friends. We still got great service, the beer was cold and the bartender friendly and funny. Old School jukebox and shots, what more could you need?
