My girlfriend and I had rented a house from Morton Realty for one year in that time I found Black Mold from leaky pipes in three different parts of the house. His response was that I’m just dirty and it could be cleaned with Bleach. Now I religiously fog any places I move into because I hate pests. Six months in I was hit with an unbelievable Roach infestation. Something I had never in my life had to deal with. It was so bad that I actually had to get rid of all of my stuff upon leaving as to not have the issue continue with me. I keep a clean house. Come to find that this was a pre existing issue confirmed by the previous tenant. I received a bill for the pesticide treatment after I moved out. This man covers his ass in his contracts and will rub your face in shit rather than be reasonable. Do not use.

I have rented a house from Ken Morton for two and a half years now. Then entire experience with Morton realty has been a nightmare. I have always paid my rent early or on time. I have never been late once. I keep my house in excellent condition and tAke care of the property. I have had to call code compliance on more than one occasion because Ken has refused to make repairs on the house. He never answers or returns my calls regarding repairs. Including when I called him because my gas heater was leaking carbon monoxide. Atmos energy red tagged the heater. He then sent out unlicensed repairman to fix it. Ken Morton has made very sexist and inappropriate remarkers to me. Ken Morton has been highly unprofessional. I do not have any intentions of renewing my lease when it is up. I do not recommend using Morton realty.
