BUYERBEWARE!!! Mr. Electric are scammers. I called up on a Sunday to inquire about the fee for a service call. I was told it’s $ 59 on weekends and NOCHARGE during the week. So of course I scheduled an appointment on Monday. I asked over and over again if there was gonna be a fee…“no sir” was the answer everytime. So I drove over an hour to my vacation property in Granbury, during a work day, to be then told by the tech after he did nothing other than listen to the EXACTSAMESTORY I told the rest of them at Mr. Electric… He says«well I have to do a diagnostic on it first to find the problem.» How much is that I ask? Somewhere over $ 300!!! Just to tell me what’s wrong??? I get on the phone with the«Office Manager» and she starts explaining her business to me like I am a 2 year old. Then when I tell her, angrily that her tech wants $ 300+ she tells me the diagnostic fee is $ 182.50? And that they can’t tell me IF I need a diagnostic UNTIL they get out here! I say«why not?» She responds«it could be something simple but if somethings not working, we have to investigate hence the fee.» I told EVERYONEat the place i spoke with that all the electricity was out and that I had tried the breakers and nada! I don’t know squat about electricity but i do know you have to investigate! And of coursethen there’s a fee!!! A TOTAL bunch of bait and switch jerks… BUYERBEWARE!!!

Todd Knutson from Mr. Electric arrived within an hour of my calling to request help with a electrical wires that got crossed when I pulled out an old dishwasher. Todd was able to learn the basics of the problem and needed someone to help with crawling under my home. Remember, that it is very wet under my house. He was not able to return for three days, but he returned to crawl under my home and fixed the problem. I especially appreciated his cleaning up some connection that were not completed properly initially. Great work. Thanks!!!

Called Mr. Electric and set up a time for an electrician to come out to find the source of the problem. They sent an appointment confirmation and it had the electrician’s photo and name, which I thought was great. Todd called prior to showing up on time.. I had 2 separate problems and Todd diagnosed both problems and had them fixed in less than 11⁄2 hours. Great job thanks Todd and Mr. Electric
