Planet Fitness – Fort Worth – E. Lancaster

This has most of the basic gym equipment except for the assisted chin up bar or pull up bar. There are also no kettlebells or aerobic weights in the stretch area, but there is a multifunction stretch device. The biggest drawback is that the music is so loud that it overpowers my own earphone music. I want mildly noticeable music in the background. This is not a dance club, especially in the stretch area where you’re trying to cool down and relax. Seriously! In a gym the music should not be above conversational level!

I want to love Planet Fitness. I have to commend them on a lot of things, especially considering they get such a bad wrap due to their Pizza Mondays and stuff like that. But I think people are too harsh.
Anyways, this location is pretty big and has a lot of needs for the average gym goer. If you’re looking to lift heavy, this is not the place. They even have a way to embarrass you for trying to lift heavy called a «lunk alarm.» This gym is ideal for women or guys looking to just tone up and work on their cardio.
Here’s my main issue with this location, it is so DANK. Like, there’s never been a moment when I’ve been in there and it wasn’t hot as balls and super humid. Plus, it’s like no one takes care of the bathrooms. I have been to several other locations and these things were not an issue. I think it may have to do with the sheer size, who knows. Either way, I’ll keep coming because the staff is friendly and it’s convenient.

What an absurd delusion to think you can require people to do anything outside of a contract. Once a contract is over it’s over. I do not owe you an explanation, a cancellation or any other obligations. Having customer service advise people that the State of Texas requires that I send you a Certified Letter to in order to stop charging me for a contract I don’t have sounds blatantly false and a very risky claim to make.

I love planet fitness. This location is rather small, though. They do have free weights and they just got 2 step machines. Also, I recommend the black card. It’s about $ 20 a month and is their best deal. I love the hydro massage beds. There are a few downsides to this location, though. It’s in the ghetto, it can get really crowded so I go really late at night (like 11 pm). And the night staff is sometimes really rude and inattentive. I’ve literally seen people walk by the counter without checking in because the guy at the counter was «busy» even though the people waited at the counter for a while. They just walked off because they didn’t feel like waiting. The pros of this location are: you don’t feel judged. It’s inexpensive. Nice temperature. And good equipment. It would be nice if Pf had a swimming pool, though.

Great «no frills» place to get your workout in. The price is right also. I’m working on changing habits for 2014 and I believe Planet Fitness is going to help me.
The gym is open ²⁴⁄₇ with a guard/​escourt on duty during the late night /​early morning hours. I always feel very safe at the location.
The facilities are wonderful ans very clean. I am pleased I joined.
