The Virgin Olive Oiler

Ever since I went to Cordell’s in Abilene I was looking for a place in Fort Worth where I could get handcrafted olive oils and balsamic vinegars. The Virgin Olive Oiler is the ultimate place to go. Everything is so fresh and flavorful. I can definitely say they are better than Cordell’s.

The owner is friendly, helpful and patient. His product is amazing and a gem of a find. I have ordered the Balsamics as gifts and friends have raved about them, and the packaging they receive them in. My favorites is the raspberry, amazing!

Love this place! Best local discovery in years! I was always passing by, too busy to stop, as it wasn’t on my to do list, and I knew I had plenty of olive oil… Lol! «I really had no concept of what the store was about.» Anyway, I was in the shopping center, while I was waiting to meet my husband to pickup my teen, who was a disheveled mess after a long day of activities. She wanted to go inside to check it out, and I stood outside talking to my husband on the phone. As I stood outside, I witnessed something remarkable! The owners were actually being kindly and attentive to my teen! As I peered in, they were giving her samples, and walking her around showing her things! I loved this! I wasn’t sure what this store was all about, but I thought, «I’m going to go in there, and buy something just because these people are so awesome!» When I entered, I was warmly greeted by this sweet blonde lady, and my teen said, «Mom taste this!» I did, and I had a mind blowing culinary experience! I had no idea that healthy olive oils, and balsamic vinegars could offer such extraordinary flavors! Well, ring in the New Year, because I’ve discovered flavor nirvana, that isn’t on the naughty list! Virgin Olive Oiler, you will forever be on my to do list, and thank you for offering our family such delicious flavored oils & decadent vinegars, at such a great price! We are really enjoying our purchase, and we’ll be back for more!

Excellent. The Virgin Olive Oiler now has a new customer! To anyone living in the area… check this place out. The owner Charles was very friendly and knowledgeable. He let me try a few of his favorite combinations and helped me pick an olive oil and two vinegars so that I can make my own salad dressings and marinades at home. The combination of the lemon vinegar and wild mushroom and sage extra virgin olive oil is something that I never would have put together myself and it is FANTASTIC. I can taste the difference and like knowing that I am supporting a local business. When your bottles are empty you can save a couple dollars by bringing them back to use during your next order. Charles gave me some tips and also printed out a recipe to get me started. I will be back for sure!

We scheduled a private group tasting with the Virgin Olive Oiler this Thursday. Boy, it was one of a kind type of extra virgin olive oil tasting experience. I had so much fun tasting those fresh and flavorful EVOO from Italy, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Tunisia, and California, while enjoying several delicious refreshments the owner prepared for this tasting.
Not liking those pre-​bottled EVOOs sold at the grocery stores for massive distribution, the olive oils here all have pressed date info to indicate their freshness. I believe this is the only specialty store in Forth Worth (or even in Dallas) that offers such a wide variety of oils. If you are a serious food lover who cares about the quality and taste of ingredients, this is the place for you to have lots of fun.
The Virgin Olive Oiler also carries some amazingly balsamic vinegar (including one 18 Year old Traditional Style Balsamic Condimento), gourmet oils, salts, and handmade olive oil soaps.

This place is what other businesses should model themselves after. The service from the owner is always the same, friendly, knowledgeable and interesting to talk with him. I like to surprise my wife with a very special oil on occasion and their is nowhere better to make your selection. He has a nice variety of oils, vinegars and other ingredients to make those dishes rock! So stop in and surprise your special person, they will be impressed,

This place is amazing, my husband is a chef and will not buy his oil from anywhere but here. The best customer service you will ever find. Not only is the owner nice and friendly, he is extremely knowldgeable and helpful. You will find a nice selection of oils, vinegar, sugars and spices, and my new fav thing olive oil soap. We love this place!
