There’s No Place Like Home

I searched for a particular dining room table and found it at western heritage design in weatherford for 1899. I decided to do some research and see if I could find it cheaper. I found the same table for 1,023 at at no place like home. I felt very valued compared to how I was treated at western heritage in weatherford. I like to shop at home but no way will I ever return to that place and I will give all my business here from now on! What a pleasant shopping experience to buy furniture! I highly recommend it because these ladies go above and beyond for their customers!

Fantastic experience! I just moved to the area and was looking for furniture for my new apartment. Sue and Abby were both extremely helpful. They have plenty of items on display but also take the time to sit with you and go through books of countless items that they can order for you. Both of them easily understood what type of look I was going for and were clearly knowledgeable in showing me products that fit the picture I had in my head of what I wanted my apartment to look like. The prices were amazing for high quality product. I’ll be returning to Sue and Abby many more times in the future!

Eclectic find of very different furniture at the best prices I’ve seen (half of Dallas). Just happened in but very glad to find Abbey and her store. Helpful, friendly and a fun place to shop.

I’ve visited this store twice. Both times I was greeted immediately and offered refreshments. The staff was very helpful and cheery. The displays are beautiful and the prices can’t be beat! I will definitely return!

Stopped in with a friend to do a little furniture shopping. Abby and Jax helped us out and they were wonderful! I love the variety of fun pieces they have available on the floor. If they can’t sell you the piece off the floor, they can order it for you. Absolutely amazing place! I will be back and back again!

A coworker of mine told me about this place when I first moved to Downtown Ft Worth almost a year ago and a almost a year later as I’m in the process of getting ready to relocate and also on vacation, I finally decided to check it out. Love the place… nice furniture and the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Unlike larger furniture stores that have a handful of manufacturers providing products, they have over 800 different manufacturers so that you can have a range of items to pick from. Let’s say you find something at a big name store and you want it for less, check them out. There was a huge drum lamp that usually retails for over $ 1200 at another retailer and they had it for a little over $ 300, now if that’s not a steal, I don’t know what is. To top it off, if you don’t see exactly what you like, still ask the staff and they have catalogs from the manufacturer that may serve you better. Awesome find… love the variety and the eclectic look and feel.

In the process of remodeling my living room and stumbled on this place. I walked in and instantly fell in love with this cute place. I was greeted immediately and thought uh oh please don’t let this be the place where they follow you around like a puppy dog and drive you insane. Well to my surprise I was greeted and left alone! Yes! Once I was ready the salesmen was so helpful and actually changed my mind on what I «thought» I wanted. He was funny and made me feel like I was really at home.
Then this cute lady came out and started cleaning up to my surprise she was the owner. She was very helpful as well helping me find the right piece. I wanted the item before my house party next month and she went above and beyond to get my sofa to me before the party! Woohoo I can’t wait to show off my new furniture. I mean after all that is the main reason you have a house party… lol.
I can’t wait to purchase more from this place. If you’re in the area and in need of furniture do yourself a favor check this place out!

These guys are the best. They have an expansive selection of furniture manufactures and plenty of expertise to help find just what you are looking for no matter your style.
The staff here was very patient with me, as I’m very picky. I was able to find several pieces of furniture from a manufacture they did not have as a vendor but Paul was able to get the store setup with them and a couple weeks later I had all my awesome new stuff.
I’m definitely working with these guys to furnish the rest of my house because of their dedication, patience and affordability.
I highly recommend checking this place out first!

We found ourselves in her store yesterday after months of frustrating shopping looking for furniture for our house and were pleasantly surprised with our shopping experience. Make sure you realize what the business is here — There’s No Place Like Home will help you find GREAT furniture at a GREAT price, but they are not the manufacturer, and they do not have an overflowing warehouse full of stock. You will more than likely need to wait a few weeks for your purchase, but it is COMPLETELY worth it

Love’d their furniture. We bought 3 pieces and 5 months later we’re still waiting. Owner said 4 – 6 weeks. 6 months later the owner offered the floor model at no discount. She was really rude and belittling. Bittersweet experience.

Cute store with reasonable prices. Since they order everything from their catalogs, you can bring in a picture & see if they can find it or something similar. So pretty much, your not going to leave that day with anything like a typical home goods store. But prices are worth the wait on some items & they have some really cool/​odd things too.

Ever since I was quite little, I’ve been a huge fan of The Wizard of Oz. So you can imagine how I enjoyed There’s No Place Like Home Furniture, which has little homages to the classic tale spread about all over. From prints to trinkets to pillows to baby vintage ruby-​red slippers, there’s a small splash of L. Frank Baum in every corner. It’s not overwhelming and this is certainly not an everything-​Wizard of Oz shop, but I appreciate the subtlety and creativity of the items that are.
This is a fantastic and small home décor boutique filled with one of a kind items. The furniture pieces themselves are actually very reasonably priced, which is fabulous, but many of the trinkets are a bit pricey. We’re talking quality items; many that appear to be antiques and plenty that are ultra modern. Pillows, chairs, bedding, lamps, clocks, candles, artwork, mattresses, tables, office furniture, things for babies… there are so many goodies in here, you just have to take the time to browse for treasure.
One of the best things about this sweet little shop is that — at least when I visited on a Friday afternoon — there were cookies, popcorn, and wine on different tables throughout the store. Just serve yourself! What else can one need besides cookies, popcorn, and wine? There were little serving napkins and small plastic cups for your convenience, and if I hadn’t just eaten a huge plate of nachos and drank that large margarita, I would have taken advantage of the little refreshments There’s No Place Like Home offered. It really did help to make this shop feel even more comfortable and homey.

I was in the store when the above situation happened. I was shopping for an end table, and was disturbed by the loud crowd that came in. At first I thought it was teenagers, and thought well, maybe I’m over-​reacting, this isn’t a library. The group seemed to treat the store as though it were a garage sale, and I was pretty shocked to see the way they treated the stores goods, like the items were their own and were careless with them. Although I don’t own a store, I would have tossed that group out. IMHO — the owner or sales lady handled the situation pretty well.
I’ve always been delighted with my finds and felt I was treated like a valued customer. No complaints at all and I will be back!

Delighted w the incredible furniture we have purchased from Abby and her group. We have furnished our home w her, saving thousands of dollars from regular retail!
Delivery times vary from each manufacturer and there may be delays as there was for our Phillipe Langdon order (an extra 5 weeks) but so worthwhile!
TNPLH saved us over 1000.00 just on the top of the line king pillow top mattress and box springs so totally worth checking out at their new location at 855 Foch St in ft worth.
Note: some of her Dallas lines have a quick turnaround so worth discussion w Abby or her staff if your delivery needs are more immediate.
