I needed a battery in my watch replaced. I went in and they had it replaced in less than 5 minutes. The service was friendly, efficient, and very reasonably priced! I’ll be back here for any future needs. Thanks!

I went here looking to sell some of our family jewelry. Normally they don’t buy jewelry except for the gold and gemstones. I met with Trey. I had quite a few pieces and he took them and evaluated them. he spent the time to explain to me why some pieces would be very difficult to give me good value. A great place to do business with! They have gorgeous jewelry and I’ll be happy to come back.

Troy Vincent has a wonderful reputation that goes back many years. Not long ago I went in to have a diamond taken out of my wedding band and put into another that I had. Since my wedding band was damaged I asked Troy’s son if he would give me the foundry value if I turned in the ring for the platinum and 18 karat gold. It was a very large ring. when I went in to pick up the diamond that was reset, I was told that the value of my large ring had only been $ 100. I was shocked, but I hadn’t been anywhere else to check prices yet… I now can estimate the value of the metal should have been around a thousand dollars at that time. I just couldn’t believe anyone with a name to back up would behave in such a way! I didn’t go back, but let me warm you; BEWARE!!!

I needed a strand of Tahitian pearls restrung and I was looking for a jeweler that had experience and could get them back before New Year’s Eve(11 days). I called about 15 different jewelers asking all the same questions about thread type, knotting process, color of thread, thread thickness, ect — when you’re getting a 6k necklace worked on, you want it done correctly and with care. Every jeweler I called used silk thread EXCEPT Troy Vinson — my first question to the gentleman who answered the phone at 10:45AM on Dec. 20 was do you use double stranded silk thread to restring pearls. His answer was no, we use white nylon chord — I said that I needed black silk thread as the pearls were black. His reply was that it was NOT an industry standard to use silk thread and they would use white nylon, looped thru twice and knotted once and that I wouldn’t find anyone in the area who used silk. I then told him that Troy Vinson was the only jewelry store out of the 15 or so I had called that morning that used nylon and not silk. His reply was: «That’s news to me. Bye.» Then he hung up on me — he was rude and he did his part to make sure that I would never go to a Troy Vinson jewelers again. I have shopped inside the store and they had a great selection and were friendly, but it’s been a while and I bought some nice earrings. Maybe the help has changed or it was the fact that I wasn’t going to be a big sale this time around.
