UPDATE: Hawk finally did the right thing and got my account moved where it should be, and I got cameras installed today. Thank you to Curtis Jordan for taking care of me and my account and Martha for checking up on me and the issues at hand!
ORIGINAL POST: I signed up with Hawk when I built my house 4 years ago. In the past 4 years, part of hawk was bought out by interface security. My account should NOT have transferred to interface, but somehow did. Now I’m wanting to add cameras to my service to protect my home, and hawk is saying they can’t move me where I should have been all along AND can’t take me as a new client because they signed a non compete. If THEY had done would they SHOULD have done, I would be able to protect my home as needed. Oh, and I am NOT under any contract with anyone currently.

In the process of searching for the right home security system, i came across many pushy sales representatives that downright annoyed me. First impression is crucial and Jack Thiebaud from the Fort Worth branch of Hawk Security came across very amicable and I appreciated his experienced, patient approach. There was smooth communication, he was very thorough in answering the many questions I had in order to feel comfortable moving forward (even called me back after hours, long after his work day ended).
Being a first time buyer of home security, It is overwhelming reading all the negative reviews from the many different big name companies. Therefore, I decided to sign with a smaller local company that exhibited the intimate customer service I am looking for and so far i am very pleased with the performance of my home security system and how quickly the small issues i have had become resolved.
I have to admit that at first I was extremely hesitant since I barely found any reviews for the company (none on Unilocal), I felt it was a big gamble. However, so far every single interaction I have had with Hawk security staff (sales rep, technician, customer service, etc) have all been extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I did not rate it 5 stars because I have only had the system under 2 months, so I will update my review further down the line accordingly.
