Angie helped me today to install a new network on my internet radio. she took me through the steps, one by one and was very patient. I really appreciated that and also, not hurrying me through the process — yeah for her, there should be more customer service reps like Angie!

I bought many radios from this place, and have been disappointed many times. I bought 2 Sangean ATS-505 which both died. I have a pocket Sangean radio where the clip on the back broke off and the radio goes off for no reason. I guess it’s a bad connection somewhere. I have the original CCRadio which as everyone knows has a chronic problem with the display where parts of it permanently cut out, and this is also the problem with the CCRadio Plus. To their credit their did fix this radio, but I had to ship it to them. The original CCRadio 2 is nice, but a bit bassy for me. I just bought a new CCRadio2E and it has an annoying«Tic» when the radio is turned on and when a new station is tuned in. They know about this problem and let this radio go into production with it. But I guess is the style nowadays, put it out and let the buyer beware. There are few sensitive radios on the market, at least I will know to ask questions if this one ever dies. You can buy one from them, but remember to ask any questions you can think of. I had a discount code which didn’t work on their site and customer service never heard of. They did give me the discount, but they appear to be really disorganized. Furthermore, even though the display light is adjustable, it is still too bright at night in a dark room because the background is lit, and the numbers are dark. It would make much more sense to have the background dark and the numbers lit. And, their warranty is only 90 days, unlike most items you buy which is a year or more. This is an expensive radio, costing more than some Television sets.

Updating this review after frustration with customer service on the phone yesterday. I called to check on my radio I had sent in for repair. I talked to one customer service rep in the morning and she could not or would not help me. She suggested I call back the service Dept. and gave me the phone number I called to get to talk to her. She took a message, and said Service would call me back. Later in the day, I called the same number again, was lucky to have a helpful representave, and found out what I needed. I have no idea whether Service Dept. was going to call me back or not. Customer service sucked yesterday

They sell super electronic products. … Their radios are alpha one. :-) If you are going to in a possible disaster-based terrain, having their durable radio is significant.
