This Starbucks is like most Starbucks, commercially produced coffee with very little enthusiasm and effort coming from the staff. What can you really say about a corporate-run basic fast-food chain in every corner of the world? I can say this, I am disappointed in myself for continuing to give Starbucks a chance, no matter where I’m at. Here’s what I don’t like about the coffee drinks: –Dismally weak and thin-bodied espresso, no matter whether it’s ristretto, or standard and no matter how many shots pulled to correct the first drink that came out weak. –There’s not one Starbucks I’ve ever been to that has had correctly steamed milk and froth. It should be dense and creamy and hold up for the length of time you are enjoying your cappuccino. Even if politely requested, the foam on any given drink will sputter out and sink down like a deflating balloon. –I really don’t know how to explain this one, but any drink that has any sweet addition or even just sugar added will be poorly mixed?! Every time I get a sweet drink it’s bland on the top and cloyingly sweet on the bottom. This is not a thing, like some kind of new trend, it’s just laziness on the barista’s part. The point is this, try small town local cafes and coffee shops other than Starbucks, and you will get better made coffee drinks. Jitter Bean makes hella good white mochas and cappuccinos, and Shotz makes a mean cup of coffee too!

Showed up here at 515 am and pulled into the drive through to no one asking me to order. Waited ten minutes and still nothing. However there was a gold truck in the drive through smoking a cigarette with his lights off at the window. Terrible service.

To be honest I don’t go here a lot, but when my sister & I go to hang out we enjoy a nice machiato(spelling may b off, sorry). Also when my sister & i ran our nonprofit org to support the troops we would go to this Starbucks to get coffee for our meetings and such things. Thank u Starbucks for ur support.

I had an order of 5 drinks today including 2 hot lattes, one hot chai, one iced macchiato and one frapp. All 3 hot drinks were not only not steamed to the correct temperature but they were all at least one inch from the top of the cups. As a barista myself I was incredibly annoyed that anyone would think that’s acceptable to hand to a customer let alone at a Starbucks, the most well known coffee chain. On the bright side I did call and let them know I was unsatisfied and they will be giving me a couple free drinks on my next visit and the guy I spoke to was polite and apologetic.

OK, so I ask for an iced mocha. And it came with whipped cream on it. I mentioned to the barrista, «Hey, you should tell customers that the drink comes with whipped cream so they have the option to say NO they dont want whipped cream» She looked sheepishly at me. Then her co-worker said ” FORYOURINFORMATIONALLOFOURICEDDRINKSCOMEWITHWHIPPEDCREAM” He was so smug I wanted to slap his face… UGH! Hence why I usually dont go to Starbucks, shoot me next time I even try to go there.

Well if you have been to 1 star buck you have been to them all… but the reson i always go to this location other than the 5 other cheaper coffee shops in fortuna is the old lady who works there hahaha this woman dosent give you the feeling that she is being fake and nice to you becuse she has to or its jer job to serve you she genuinely wants your experience to be nice from takeing your order at the speeker to receiving your drink at the window. My coffee os always on perfect and my order is normally filled fast when she is working on the off chance that i had to wait too long she has given me a coupon for a free drink with out me complaining just looked at me and said sorry for takeing too much time and that she hoped that this would help in this day and age you dont get that any more… not to mention the the fay i decided to spoil my self and buy a new go cup and was being indisisive she brang me every one they had and told me about why she liked surtan ones i still love my go cup i got that day… i will return to that locatin multiple times a week and over pay for coffee. just for the plesant customer service i recive from her!

You know Fortuna hit the big-time when they got a Starbucks. Now this is all the way down Fortuna street and clearly located for highway traffic and not actually for local Fortunans(Fortunites?), but still. Here’s the thing: Starbucks is Starbucks, no matter where you go. And this is no exception. It’s clean, reliable, and consistent. Whenever I’m visiting my family in Fortuna and need to sneak way from the insanity that is too many hicks in one room, I head to Starbucks with my snobby-ass self and get a chai and some cookies and pretend I’m back in an actual city… which is of course the down-side to Starbucks: I could literally be in any other city and have the same experience. So it is what it is.

Location is great, right off the highway, When I walked up to the cashier, I wasn’t acknowledged right away A minute later, they notice me but it feels like I’ve been waiting for a day Granted, they were a bit busy with their cars piling up in the drive-through But I was the only customer in the store and they didn’t have a clue But they are the only coffee in the area, what am I to do This is probably a rare exception, so I’ll give them a pass I got my drink eventually and they were nice. I’m not a jerk

I don’t normally review but felt compelled to do so this morning after enduring gratuitous, almost comical verbal abuse by the owner of «that other» coffee shop in Fortuna. In the interest of parity, and because, as an instructor, I always tried to «catch em’ being good» I must say I was favorably impressed with Starbucks Fortuna — not by their coffee and tea(which are good), not by their pastries(which are also good) but most especially by their people. Their staff are attentive, always try to make things right for their customers, and have a very positive attitude. What impressed me the most was a simple act of kindness by a staff member the other evening. It was near closing time and there were two teenage /early 20s backpackers there looking tired, broke and disheveled. While I sat there, deliberating about whether to buy them something to eat, the Starbucks staff member offered them free sandwiches — which would have been disposed of at the end of the day. That was impressive! Seeing that simultaneously humbled me and renewed my faith. Many people in the area appear to go to some church once a week and call themselves«Christian» but your staff actually walks the talk. That simple act spoke volumes about your store leadership and recruitment! Moreover, it clearly made a world of difference to those two young backpackers and made me reflect on my own judgments and actions. Thank you and Kudos.

I’m a usual of this establishment and I came here because I could relax at lunch time other than in my car. They change the furniture a couple days ago. I can tell you with total openness that it sucks. It is uncomfortable your back can not relax. There is two armchairs for the whole shop. I thought that they make more money than that… cheap. It’s sad

This particular Starbucks provides the WORST service that I’ve ever experienced from a coffee shop! Every single time I come here, I have to wait between 15 and 20 minutes to get what I’ve ordered… even when there is no line, and I am the only customer. There is a Jitter Bean(local spot) about a mile or two past Safeway up the road. Go there instead! Their coffee is better, their people are nicer, and I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes. These people need to figure it out!

Came here a few times with my family while visiting my Aunt up in Fortuna. This location is really nice and i wish I could find one with the same setup back home in San Jose! They have a huge outside sitting area covered which is great if it starts to rain or to keep the heat in. Lots of tables and chairs and the perfect study location. I liked the inside and it was also very big with a large sitting area in the back left side. Again a good spot to study at. Bathrooms were clean as well. Service here is very friendly and our drinks were made to perfection. I definitely will be back here on my next trip to see my family.
