Ive gone here since they were in Eureka. I know not everyone likes the crust but they are consistent. I love the pizza, as always I will go back! I do always get carry out so I have never sat in the place it is pretty noisy.

First time here and I’m impressed. Great atmosphere and friendly employees. Pizza is fresh and delicious! Sauce: The sauce is a sweeter sauce with a hint of spice. Compliments the ingredients well. Cheese: Good cheese blend. Not too overpowering and most importantly not burnt. Most pizza chains over cook their pies due to the conveyer belt systems but the ovens here do a great job at cooking evenly. Crust: Phenomenal! It’s an average thickness crust with a crisp, corn-meal dusted bottom and gooey-goodness inside.

The owner is afraid of security cameras. I feel like the pizza was good. No one washes the ceilings, and I don’t understand why I can’t ask for jazz hands on my pie.

Lived in the area my whole life and have eaten plenty of Toms pizza. Over the past few years after the loss of the only guy who cared the quality had fallen off. There’s just a bunch of stoned ass kids in there making terrible pizza. I moved out of the area over a year ago. I’m in town on a visit and had a super long and stressful day, figured I’d order a pizza. I must have forgotten they suck now because I dialed the number and made my usual order. First one came and it was so undercooked it would have made me sick. So I called and asked for a replacement. The kid was incredulous! Asked me if I still had the pizza, obviously I have the pizza. I ask if they can cook it a bit longer like I had asked for. The next pizza came back Burnt to a crisp. Then I got pissed and asked for my money back. I had to wait while these obnoxious little kids fight on the phone about who fucked up the pizza. Her excuse was she wasn’t there for«the conception» of the pie… really? Stay the hell away from this place if you value your health and sanity.

My friend and I were staying in Fortuna for a night, and decided to order a pizza from Toms. About 15 minutes after eating two slices of pizza each, we both got incredibly sick and stayed that way for the whole night, and for most of the next day also. My friend called Toms a couple days later asking about a refund, and we were told to talk to the manager the next day. We called back and were told the manager wasn’t there, and whoever was working was instructed to tell us that they don’t «do» refunds. So we basically payed $ 30 for food poisoning. I can’t believe how unprofessional and unapologetic they were after making people sick. I’d recommend staying away from here, so you don’t have the same issue we did.

Nice pizza place we found on Unilocal when we were driving by on our way South. Pizzas are made by hand, staff is super nice and you get a salad from the salad bar(with even lits on the tupper ware boxes, so that no flies can sit down on the things meanwhile, I liked that). Build your own Pizza, all seems to be possible here. Though, pizza dough is a bit thick for my taste, but that´s most often the case in the US. Can´t go wrong here, the atmosphere is alright, too, for a quick stay. Nothing fancy though.

First thing you should know is this place is a dump. Dirty, worn out, cheaply furnished, poorly maintained, haphazardly decorated. The salad bar is iceberg lettuce and poor sides. Clearly no one cares. It would be so easy to make it average and sell way more salads. Bag of mixed greens, instead of iceberg would be most of it. The good news, the pizza is pretty good. The crust in particular is very good. Cheese is cheap, but ok. Other topping seem cheap. The total pizza is good. Get the pizza to go or delivered, don’t eat in and you will likely be happy.

Good pizza but a bit overpriced. Customer service is hit and miss. Big room and lots of tables. They have beer on tap.

Not much to choose from in Fortuna so thanks to Unilocal the evening was saved. Ordered the usual, an anchovy and Italian sausage. You order and pay at the counter. We happened to be taken care of by the owner, a very nice and personable gentleman. We then selected a table which was really hard plastic patio furniture. I didn’t mind this since the chairs were comfortable. The place looked like a Chucky cheese with all the video games, but luckily it was evening and not a snot nose in sight. The pizza was very good. it has a sufficient quanity of cheese and was loaded with anchovies and sausage. The sausage was evidently a good quality and had a nice spicy kick to it. Just the right doneness so we were happy campers.

We liked this place. The pizza had just enough cheese. The dough is crunchy and chewy and very well done n enough cheese! The wings were good, fall off the bone type of wings. My colleague and I debated the rating. I could be persuaded it is a 3.5 and he a 4.5 so a 4 is what we settled on. Enjoy! The salad bar was anemic!!! So no salad for us. Might have pushed this little local hangout to the top. Green lettuce is a must. Come in for the pizza. It is worth it!

We were up in Fortuna to escape the lights out day in Garberville(PG&E was replacing all the electric poles and lines all day Sunday) and after much meandering and enjoyment decided that pizza was needed. We stopped first at Roundtable, but it was so crowded… and one of the employees(or maybe a customer) told my partner how to reach Tom’s. There was a birthday party underway for two little 2 year olds, and grandmas and grandpas and siblings everywhere. Loved it. And the pizza(which we got to go, as our sound sensitive special needs adult child probably wouldn’t have done well with the excitement) was really, really good. Service was attentive, lots of fun and a nice family atmosphere. We’re going to make this a regular Fortuna stop.
