Great local hangout on the weekends. The biggest problem with bars in Fountain Hills is that they are in Fountain Hills. If you are already hooked up, this is a great place to take your SO and hang. If you are on the hunt, stay out of Fountain Hills. Singles are not overly popular in town. Exactly what you would expect from a local bar. Reasonable prices and if Angie is working, she is very nice to watch!

We come from a small town in MN and we’re looking for a bar more like the ones in our area… we found it at the Alamo. Happy hour 10am-6pm…lots of TV’s to watch sporting events. Only real«bar» in town all others seem to be bar/restraunts. Best popcorn in town. Have met quite a few friendly people. Not fancy but good cold beer and great price! Have live music some night and Karoke on other nights.

They took the dartboards out. The two to three TVs AREN’T HD!!! No food. Nasty bathrooms. One pool table and a shuffleboard table which is its only redeeming feature. Almost no craft beers and only 4 taps(all big breweries).

This really is a «Dive bar». Although I met some greatpeople there that seemed to like the place. Surveying the surroundings I ordered a beer and was surprised to be charged $ 4 for a draft. This is a $ 2 a beer kind of place, not a $ 4 kind of place. I asked if they had any«happy hour» specials and the bartender told me that $ 4 was the happy hour special! So… although this place isn’t horrible, I think you’ll do a lot better at either the Saddle Bronc Grill or the All American(formerly Overtime Café).
