We came in on very short notice to get our nails done for senior pictures, and the staff were very kind and efficient! I had a special request made for natural polish and Doug was happy to oblige. Pleased with the service and kindness of the staff. I will likely be returning soon.

I would avoid this establishment like the Bubonic Plague if I were you. I visited this past Monday and was not impressed. I arrived at 5:50pm(their sign says they close at 7pm, and I politely asked if they could give me a fill/pedi. Mind you, no patrons there and all 3 staff members were slumped lazily on spa chairs playing on cell phones. The owner(male) gives me a loud, dramatic sigh and asks if he could do them at same time. No problem, boss! While I was getting my concurrent pedi/fill, the lady doing my feet was half-assing the scrub/file! It was almost comical to see her barely touch my toes for a mili-second! Lazy! I noticed when one of my replacements(on my finger) was a tad longer than my others, I politely asked the owner to file that one down a bit more(as I type at work a lot). He gets snarky/pissy and says, «Uh, I know — I’m not done yet!!». Okay — chillax buddy! Overall experience was not worth it — I gave them each $ 2 tip which is pretty shitty, I know — but I’m sorry — not gonna pay for horrible service/customer treatment. They didn’t even acknowledge me so I left without saying thanks or good bye. This place BLOWS!!!

I had some time between appointments and dropped into this shop for a manicure/pedicure. I was a little surprised to see the technician cutting and cutting my cuticles, and unhappy that she actually cut my skin as well. For the following week, my fingers had shredded skin beneath the cuticles, which suggests that my apprehension was well founded. I would not go back here for that reason and also the cleanliness of their tools. It appeared they just put them back in the pouch for the next person. Ewwwwwww. I did, however, not die or become infected so that earns the one star.

So, last week I acted like I was in high school and put on this very sparkly, bright, glittery gold nail polish for a fund raiser I was working. I had to pose with and hold art up for an auction and decided a little glitz and glam wouldn’t hurt my money raising skillz. Cut to this week: I move out to AZ, I’m searching for a job, my nail polish is in RUINS and I REALLY need this gold stuff off my nails. The bottle of polish remover in my grandma’s overflowing manicure basket does NOTHING to repel the golden glue. Halp! Luckily, my U-Haul storage unit is right behind this little nail shop and I popped in this morning for a quick mani. Well…“quick” being a relative word, since it took about 40 minutes to get just this basic manicure done. However, I’m OK with this because my gal did a marvelous job. Not sure if it’s store-wide policy or just her, but she was crazy about detail. Hey, slow and steady wins the race, right? No smudges, great paint job. And she only tried to upsell me ONCE, which is such a plus for me. I hate being badgered for more nail services than the ones I walk in for. I now have some pretty purple digits clickity-clacking away on my keyboard. Space was clean. TV was playing«The Haunted» on Animal Planet, which cracked me up but whatever. Manicure? $ 12! I’m pretty sure they only take cash tips so remember that! Very happy this place is right down the street.
