OK the décor is great! The place is modern, clean and the service was good. Clean cut people that take your order with s smile. Lots of old fashion pictures and large murals all over the place that are really fun to explore. My burger was good, not great. I simply ordered a hamburger with no tomatoes and extra sauce. Again, it was good but at the same time it was funky. Definitely a trendy burger with all the other gourmet burgers on the market today, I didn’t care for the lettuce and I also didn’t care for the bun. The lettuce was like a spinach salad and the bun was very very thick. Half way through my burger I had to remove the top bun, it was simply too much bun. We also ordered onion rings and they too were good. The problem is that for two small regular burgers, two drinks and some onion rings I paid $ 29.00 I’m ok paying big money for good burgers and again, everything was good but it just wasn’t that good. 4 stars because everyone should give this place a shot but it’s not for me.

If you were going to pay for Carl’s Jr’s Six dollar burger, you might as well spend your money here. The burgers are good, they have a lot of add-ons you can get on your burger as well. My go-to is a burger with blue cheese, with an egg and some chipotle sauce. They have salads too, and some other dishes, although I have not tried them. They have beer and wine too. It really makes me wonder why this place doesn’t get packed.

I recommend G Burger in FV — great burgers, relaxed and very clean restaurant, and super service oriented staff! It is conveniently located too. Check it out! Will be going there again soon. Maybe even invite colleagues for business lunches.

We were craving a good hamburger. Search Unilocal and chose G Burger after reading the reviews. Staff was nice and attentive. We were warned that Medium meant pink all the way through, it was really pink, almost cold in the middle, but tasted great. Will order MW next time. Bun was fresh and tasty. Everything on the burger was good, no complaints. I almost liked the fries. Not a fan of seasoned fries. I like them naked, but again there was nothing wrong with them. About $ 15 for a good burger, fries and drink. We will return!

This has got to be off early of the best gourmet burgers I’ve ever had! Everything from the fresh bun, crisp veggies and quality Angus beef. We also got a side order of fries and onion rings — everything came out fresh and flavorful. Only piece of advice, come here hungry the portion sizes are large and quite filling — felt guilty at not being able to finish my serving.(too good to go to waste) We sat outside and the waiter made sure not only to bring our food out but napkins and all the side sauces they offer great attention to detail for the customer. Will definitely be back.

Great Burger, very Juicy and fresh veggies a bit pricey but I get it because the beef is delicious Angus. Fries are ok. I wish they went with the fresh way that In and Out does it. But all in all good place to eat. Another good thing is you can order a beer with your burger. Plus they have Vegitarian and Vegan options. They get 4 stars from me.

Excellent service and food! Their burgers are great but my favorite thing is their onion rings, they are the best ever. Sometimes I want to go there and just eat onion rings… If you’re in the neighborhood this place is worth checking out.

Really tasty burgers can now be found in Fountain Valley. Also the G fries are like Animal style fries dub stepped. Their version of Thousand Island dressing on the fries was so good and different and there was bacon and onions on top of the fries too. I don’t recall which burger I ordered before but overall it’s a definite place to check out if in the area.

Ok… so this is my first time here so I kept it simple. I wanted to taste the beef and go from there. Not a disappointing cheese burger. Fries were a bit on the lukewarm side and not hot like fresh from the fryer. Overall…will return to try something a bit more adventurous next time. Until then…

Okay, do your taste buds a favor and order a medium cooked burger with bacon, fried egg, and avocado. You will be mind blown by the flavors. Order the fries too! To sum it up: delicious large portioned inexpensive burgers with prompt service – All the ingredients for a great experience. I really hope they expand and bring G Burger to Pasadena.

Forgot to check in and get the free soda :( This is a local burger joint a couple blocks down from where I live. Surprised I haven’t found out about it until now. There are a decent number of ways customize your burgers here! I got the classic hambuger with portobello mushrooms and when the cashier placed it in front of me, I realized why he also gave us forks and knives… I don’t think there’s a limit to how much you can add to your burgers, so they come out looking like a mini leaning tower. I asked for the meat to be cooked medium, and it came out just the way I wanted it. The veggies were fresh, the mushrooms grilled nicely, and the patties were moist and not dry at all. Everything was seasoned flavorfully. Definitely very filling. Two of us ordered fries and between the 5 of us we could not even finish it. Overall a very juicy and delicious burger, but there is nothing else really unique or exciting about this place for me to come back unless I spontaneously crave some gourmet burgers and am in the area.

I came here with a few friends to meet up. This was my first time so I didn’t know what to order really. I just wanted something with mushrooms so they recommended a cheeseburger with mushrooms which is what I got! I used the check in and got myself a free drink as well. I had to order fries but I didn’t regret it. The fries was amazing! It’s the simple things that made these place really delicious. I came here on a Saturday night and was quite pleased that it wasn’t busy at all. I asked for my burger to be medium rare and the guy said it would be bloody. I was a bit scared ordering it but it turned out perfectly! I finished that thing in no time and was definitely full, too full to finish my fries :( I definitely would come back here again but without the fries perhaps because I felt like it went to waste. But eating a burger with fries isn’t the same.

Besides being on the pricier end for a burger & fries, this spot is a burger lovers paradise! Their burgers are just that delicious! I ordered the sliders with sweet potato fries that came with this bomb chipotle ranch dressing! My fiancé ordered the G Fire Burger. Now he loves hot & spicy and even that was too much for him. At first he had me just take off the jalapeño peppers but then he asked me to take the rest of the peppers off because they were still too much. Next time he’s just going to do a regular cheeseburger with bacon and cherry peppers. They have other toppings like egg or pineapple depending on what you’re craving. I want to try the turkey burger next time because it truly sounded delicious. They have a vegetarian and kids section also. They make to order so even though it says they make the burgers medium, you can get them how you’d like.

A solid 3 – 3.5 Stars but I’ll round up for the Fountain Valley location(& currently my favorite of their 3 locations.) LOCATION: Corner’ish spot in the strip mall behind Claim Jumper and across from the hospital. Largest and the best parking area of all 3 locations. And the only location with a bar, although it’s small. FOOD: Burgers are their specialty(100% grain fed, USDA Choice Angus Beef) but they have other decent sandwiches like chicken, pastrami, portobello, a vegi burger. Never tried the salad, but that’s not why I come here for. Sides are«eh» to ok, but to each their own. SERVICE: They’ve always made my burger right and with a friendly demeanor. Which is why I compare their service with the other locations. PRICE: Price for their food is competitive in the gourmet burger, but their novelty G-Burger is actually better price than any other novelty burger. MYGRAINOFSALT: G-Burger has a special So Cal place in my fluffy @$$ heart, since I’ve been at the original La Habra location many of times since 2010. The reason I gave it 4 Stars is because of the service, even though I don’t like their sides. They’re too greasy for me so I only get their burgers. Which their burgers are the middle point for a good tasting gourmet burger for me. And as it’s internationally known burgers are an American staple so be it mine as well. Only this location has a small bar & that’s a plus for me, but again with not liking their sides I really can’t take full advantage of it. I’m not going to repeat myself since the G-Burger — La Habra review says more. So «CHEERS» and enjoy a good burger and beer!

Gourmet burger? I would say 3.5 stars. I had the garlic spinach burger and it was almost all that I hoped for. $ 9 for my burger, the taste was solid, but not sure if I’d pay that price again. It’s not a crazy high price point, but it’s also doesn’t make me crave one either. I think it was definitely worth a try and the customer service was on point. Try their house salad with beets, because it was surprisingly good and it was a larger portion that I expected. The place was deathly warm, and I’m sure if their AC was down, but it made us just want to get in, eat and get out without having second rounds of drinks. I’m no beer geek, but the pour was super slow coming out from tap too.

This afternoon I wandered into G Burger for a hang over fix with my partner-in– dine. After a year of hearing about the awesomeness of G burger from my students, I was finally able to taste one of their burgers myself! A cute little burger joint with brick walls and a mix of sports and 50’s memorabilia and mounted televisions on the walls, it appeals to families and an afternoon watching the game with the guys. They have a fairly extensive and creative menu with a «have it your way» attitude offering everything from portobello mushroom to grilled chicken to their classic burger which is served standard with 1000 island, onion, lettuce, tomato, and bread and butter pickles; however feel free to add any of their exceptional toppings at a nominal fee :). Today I ordered your basic burger and added baby portobellos. It was fantastic. Very large! But fantastic. Perfectly cooked(i ordered it medium, but it actually wasn’t that pink), generously topped, and served on a soft and well proportioned bun. Next time I eat here, I think I will try their cheese burger and add a fried egg and maybe some bacon as well if I’m feeling particularly naughty… My partner ordered the sliders. Three little sliders on the cutest little buns with G Burger’s basic toppings. I really enjoyed a taste of these. Honestly, these are the perfect size, especially if you aren’t in the mood for a monster size burger or any of their extra toppings. We shared their garlic parmesan fries. They were not the best parmesan fries I have ever had, but they were super solid. I think next time I will get the regular fries or perhaps their onion rings… or both lol. Everything from the food, to the atmosphere, to the service wooed me today. I will definitely return and bring friends with me.

With so many burger joints opening in the last few years I figured it be the same as the others, but G Burger in my opinion has pretty much beat them all. Fresh ground meat everyday, fresh buns, great toppings. Big burgers! Fries were great to but had to take them home because the burger filled me up. Great place to eat, and with some good beers, and wine available.

I ordered the beer sampler(6 different beers), G fries, and the G fire burger. The beer, great selection. all sorts of flavors there. G fries — reminded me a bit of animal style fries from in n out. Their fries however or more seasoned and thicker. A somewhat Cajun taste to their fries with sauce, grilled onions and bacon(?) G fire burger — I normally don’t go out to a resto for a burger, but this burger was good. juicy, cooked perfectly. A small kick of spice. I wish I added a fried egg

Just like Sir Mix-A-Lot said, «I like ‘em round and big, I want ‘em thick and juicy so find that juicy double cause now we’re in trouble. I want that piece of bubble, I don’t want none unless they’ve got buns. « I’ve put some pretty big things in my mouth before but my mouth stood no chance against this monstrous G burger. You’ll need skills just to devour this. Thick, succulent and dripping in juices, the G Burger is the real deal weighing over 2lbs and towering almost a foot in height. It’s gigantic, ginormous and g_liciously good with it’s ingredients that seems to go on forever, two patties, pastrami, fried egg, bacon, avocado, portabello mushrooms, peppers, onion rings, red onion, tomatoe, homemade slaw and secret sauce in a oil soaked high rise bun. The flavor of everything was overwhelming. The savory patties, the sweetness of the pineapple, the spicy jalapeño, it was a parade of flavors that gave my taste buds a luscious treat. Like I true fatty, an order of French fries to compliment the G burger. Perfectly made fries which were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the combination was a match made in heaven. Was the G burger the best burger I’ve ever had? No, but it’s one of the best. With meat pilled on with topping after topping, G Burger is on a level of its own. It’s most certainly worth the $ 16.00, every penny of it. A must try for those who love em’ juicy and wet.
