The reviews on Unilocal were misleading. I got a yogurt parfait and it looked like yogurt I could have bought at McDonalds for half the price. However, it is in a gas station so what can you expect.

Trying this place for the 1^st time. Heard & read lots of good stuff @ this whole in the gas station place. I had the Garlic Pesto Chicken Wrap. Super tasty but portion a little small for the $ 6. (includes tax) A la carte. Definitely will still return to taste some of their other options.

I’ve lived in Fountain Valley for ages and have only recently discovered this place! Located literally inside of the Shell gas station, to the right of the register in which you pay for gas, is the lovely and quaint little business known as Kech Café. Do not pass this one up just because of its admittedly odd location!
Food:
— Quality «fast food” – have yet to have a misstep here in terms of taste/​freshness/​etc.
— Unique flavor profile so that the usual doesn’t taste so usual anymore – try the Mediterranean potato salad; you’ll see what I mean.
— My go to: Chicken pesto wrap (extra pesto!), Mediterranean potato salad, pasta salad. Combo runs $ 6.99.
Service:
— Feel like family! Everyone is extremely personable and friendly here.
Ambiance:
— Grab and go… it is a gas station; you’re not planning on staying, are you?

Oh no, the babaganoush/​eggplant tastes spoiled. Eeewww, I will give this place another try, but my first time is so disappointing

Who would of thought that a Shell gas station could join forces with a Mediterranean sandwich shop and make such a delightful business?
Initially, trying to locate this place was a little confusing but then it dawned that it was inside the station. For some reason, I thought it would be next to it or a separate door. But you will see it when you walk in, on the right hand side.
When I went there was no line and I was greeted right away. As other Unilocalers have mentioned, the service here is pretty incredible. The worker went out of his way to show me the ropes and understand what my needs where when it came to crafting a tasty sandwich. It really helps when a worker talks to you and leaves a good impression on the customers!
On to the food, I got warm garlic chicken sandwich with all the customized goodies to go with. Very tasty ingredients, especially the sun dried tomatoes. The sandwich also came with two sides. I got the pasta & potato salad. I also tried the hummus with carrot sticks. The sides were meh, not the most flavorful tbh. The lavender lemonade was made to perfection! The hint of lavender really stood out to me. I liked it.
There are other items here which I have not tried, but I am sure they are worth getting soon. The exceptional service and fair prices make me want to come back. Definitely not a five star meal but it is a nice, quick n easy place to go that will leave your tummy happy! =)

Came here because I saw all the great Unilocal reviews! So strange that it’s inside of a gas station! The workers are super nice though! I first walked in and it’s kinda like subway where you order what you want and then pay. I got the garlic chicken pesto wrap with a side of the potatoes and hummus. Sooo good! I put some hummus on my wrap too! The lavender lemonade is also pretty good! My total was like $ 10.60. Next time I definitely want to try the pizza!

Food was absolutely amazing! I came in not knowing what to order, but with the help of the lovely lady that works there, she suggested the garlic pesto turkey wrap. and it was absolutely divine! Not to mention the hummus was really good… a tiny bit lemony, but amazing! The Middle Eastern potato salad was absolutely to die for! Overall, I recommend it. I seriously licked my plate clean because it was so delicious. I will definitely be recommending this to many people, and I myself will be going back frequently, that’s for sure! I have to agree, it truly is a hidden gem that I wish I would have known about sooner. P. s the iced coffee there is delicious! Such sweet people that own/​work there too!

Me and my friends were looking for a place to eat in Fountain Valley. We researched some restaurants on Unilocal.We read about 4 or 5 of places but noticed Kech Café had incredible reviews on Unilocal.We were hesitant because the restaurant is IN A GAS STATION. We decided to give it a taste because of the great reviews and it is amazing Mediterranean food. It is a mother and son shop, both were super warm and friendly. They gave us complimentary lemonade after we were chatting with them while our food was being prepared.
All of the food was made fresh that day. They definitely love what they are doing. I will be back next time I’m down there.

I was a bit iffy considering this café is located in a gas station, but I’m so glad I tried it!
Some people question what the hype all about, well here ya go:
— Good customer service
— Quick and healthy meal options when you don’t have time to cook (beats going to the Wendy’s next door!)
— Excellent price point, the portions you get are pretty large. I can easily save half my lunch and eat the rest as a snack/​for dinner.
The santa fe chicken sandwich is friggen delicious and the iced vanilla latte is yummy too!

Best and freshest wrap I have ever had. The service is amazing and the lady that works there is so friendly and accommodating. I love everything about the wrap combo that I ordered (long wrap cut into two pieces with 2 sides). The wrap bread itself is the best, it is so thin and light. I had the baba ganoush and american potato salad as my sides and they went well with my chicken salad wrap. The combo is $ 6.99 and I made two meals out of it. I would definitely recommend and come back as often as I can.

Good but definitely not 5 stars good. Not really sure what the hype is all about.

I’ve had this place booked marked for awhile so I was glad to finally be able to try this place. This café is located inside of the Shell gas station. This café is to order your food to go only there is no seating area here. I ordered their Chicken Pesto Mozzarella Artichoke Sandwich which came with 2 sides for $ 6.99 plus tax. I had the pasta and potato salad for my sides. The sandwich was super good very tasty. The sides were ok but I would definitely order this combo again. The staff was extremely nice. They also have different flavored drinks they will let you sample if you ask. If your in the area and your looking for some food to go I would defiantly give this place a try.

I love me some pizza! Especially if it has pesto!
I never knew this café was located inside the gas station and just happened to drop by for some gas and was hungry so I decided to Unilocal for something near by. This place is totally a hidden gem and I wouldn’t have noticed it if the employee didn’t greet me if I wanted anything.
I ordered the 7″ personal chicken pesto pizza that also came with artichokes, sun-​dried tomatos, and mozarella cheese for $ 4.95. They also included a side of carrots for some extra crunch! Service was quick and friendly! I’ll be sure to come back and try their sandwiches next time!

Fresh made to order food that is made with love.
Harry is the man, as all the other reviewers have said.
He makes sure that you are satisfied with what you ordered even before you pay. I tried the pest chicken wrap with their house made hummus and potato salad.
Harry makes the creamiest hummus I have ever dipped carrots in to. Their pesto chicken was also amazingly fresh and delicious.
What we keep me coming back is the house made lavender lemonade. A lot of places overpower the lavender flavor with syrup, not at Kech. Harry uses fresh lavender and this drink is refreshing with a slight hint of lavender. Paired perfectly well with the pest chicken wrap.
He’s only open on the weekday, so if your in the area make it a point to stop in and say hi to Harry and ask him what you should get. You won’t be disappointed.

A treasure in a Shell gas station. The owner had a friendly greeting, introduction and handshake for my first visit here. I tried a turkey wrap with garlic pesto, provolone cheese, spinach, mushrooms, lettuce, sprouts, and tomatoes. The wrap cost $ 5.50.
I thought the turkey was very fresh, as were the vegetables. Great pick for lunch. I got there early and I would suggest that, as there are only 5 parking spots. I would recommend Kech.

My husband and I tried this place after seeing it featured on the news. I never would have imagined that there would be such great food nestled in a Shell station!
Harry and his mother are so personable and you fall in love with this small business. She makes a lot of the sides and will let you try anything!
We have gone a couple times and I’ve had the santa fe chicken sandwich (my fave), the garlic pesto chicken sandwich, and the garlic pesto chicken pizza.
I LOVE their pizzas. You watch him throw on all the fresh ingredients and bake it right there in a couple of minutes. You can order a combo pizza that is recommended or build your own.
The prices are great so it is definitely worth a stop for a quick bite especially for lunch. I highly recommend the Mediterranean potato salad!

Very nice people! I would give this place 5 stars for service and cleanliness, especially for being randomly inside of a gas station. The owner was super welcoming, almost surprising how nice he was.
The food itself was pretty good too. The wraps my fiancé and I had weren’t out of this world super tasty, but I felt good eating it. What I mean by that is that I knew it was healthy and fresh, which is sometimes more important than crazy sauces and flavors. Sometimes you just have to kick it back to what nature has to offer.
I would definitely recommend this place and would come back if I ever want a healthy, fast, fresh bite!

It’s pretty rare to come across a business on Unilocal that has 5 stars and triple digit reviews. I was looking for some healthy food in the area and this place popped up. After looking at all the photos, I decided to try it out. The menu was much larger than I thought, but I decided to go with the chicken garlic pesto pizza and a cherry blossom green tea lemonade because it sounded nice.
The pizza: Very fresh and healthy ingredients, so I didn’t feel too bad about eating like 5 slices. I asked for everything on it, but I didn’t know there was artichokes added (I didn’t expect it, not the biggest fan of them), so I didn’t get to go HAM on each slice. The pizza was made and cooked all within a 5 minute span.
Cherry Blossom Green Tea Lemonade: very good, you can taste the green tea and freshly squeezed lemonade. There are also lil bits of the lemon pulp, which a brotha loves, so it was refreshing on this 80 degree weather.
The best part about this place is the service. I know we all have some good/​bad days, but this place seems to always be 200% with their customer service every single day. I was greeted with a warm smile when I came up to the counter by a sweet woman. When it was time to pay, I met Harry who is the owner of Kech Café. Really cool guy, even offered to refill my drink while I was still sipping it.
This is a really genuine place, I recommend going here if you’re having a bad day because they can change that once you walk in. It’s a breath of fresh air over at Lech Café.

Definitely not a place to sit down and eat but grab-​n-​go. They have a variety of Mediterranean wraps where you can build-​your-​own on lavash flatbread or choose from their creations, made-​to-​order pizzas, breakfast sandwiches, along with coffee and lemonades.
I’ve gotten their fresh yogurt parfaits and the Chicken Pesto Pizza. Both delicious! Pizza even comes with a handful of raw carrots as a healthy side. And you have a choice between 7″ and 12.“
