Orange County Magnetic Resonance Imaging

No problems here at all. Called ahead of time and made an appointment.
Staff are very friendly and the initial paperwork was simple. The MRI process is fine.
I was in and out with a copy of my CD for my doctor in less than 30 minutes.
Plenty of parking in the lot outside their office. Additionally there was s another lot across the street. Both are free.

The outside of the building looks REALLY ghetto. but once you walk in the office it gets better. The reason why i give 2 stars is because the chinese lady who did my MRI was in a rush that she didn’t even make sure my belongings were properly locked away. When i was changing into the gown she told me to put my cellphone, wallet, watch, etc. in the box that was in the changing room. and she would lock it and keep the key. luckily i had my parents there and gave them my belongings. After i was done changing i still had to put my clothes and shoes in the box and walk out. she went in the room after i got out and said she was gonna lock the box and for me to walk to the scan room. I saw another man go into the changing room i had just got out of and the lady told him she unlocked his box and to go ahead and change back into his clothes. after everything was done, i walk back to go change and she gave me the key to my box… sadly i didn’t even need the key because the door was wide open. and my shoes weren’t in the proper place i left them. if i had left my important belongings in there, im sure the guy wouldve taken them. Never would i come back here if they can’t respect my property. she didn’t even apologize.

I am a primary care physician and send all my patients to them for my MRI’s, they are outstanding in every way from a customer service point of view. They see patients immediately and get me my reports right away. No patient has ever complained about a wait time. Facility is clean, staff professional. Radiologist very well trained, finds everything I have questions about. Once the insurance company authorizes the MRI or CT scan, patients scheduled immediately, reports come through within 24 – 48 hours which may be professional courtesy but I appreciate it. They correct my ordering mistakes for me (Once I ordered an MRA when a MRI with IV contrast was needed, they contacted the insurance company and corrected the authorization for me). Normally I would have to have my staff send a whole new authorization request to the insurance and begin a waiting game again. When I go back to work, I will continue to use OC MRI for my radiology needs.

We call to schedule for Mri /​ct. The front desk people are very impolite. Our doctor office also try to get the fax number they asked to wait and handup before the number provide .
Please train your employee how to be more polite when answer the phone.

I was met with happiness and laughter by all, the tech was great and had no issues. They collected my deductible then took 11 days to bill my insurance. In that time i had and Lab Tests and surgery which all billed before OCMRI. So, OCMRI was paid by my insurance in full and i owe the deductible to others. One staff member did not follow thru as promised, the other claimed they had not seen the check from the insurance and refused a refund of the deductible. Insurance said they were paid 13 days prior, electronically. Only after filing a complaint with my insurance, OCMRI agreed to refund the deductible. Their office staff does not follow thru, they do not tell the truth and only under complaint did they finally stand up to the plate.

Like Orange County Memorial, OCMGRI is another bearer of bad news.

I called and they assured me that my insurance would cover my visit. When I came in, they again told me my insurance was adequate. They did my MRI and the tech said they looked good. My doc, and then another doc, said the films were too blurry to use. OC MRI kept saying they were fine so I had to go to another MRI company (on Newhope in Fountain Valley). That company did a great job the first time.
A month later, I was surprised to get a bill from OC MRI over $ 300. They had charged my insurance and billed me for another $ 300. They then denied ever telling me that there would be no additional charge, and refused to stand behind their work.
Net-​net — I’d never go back!

Very large office with two separate positions in one building. It’s near Fountain Valley Hospital and it’s a bit confusing to find the correct office with the receptionist. They offer a lot of other procedures other than MRIs like CAT and bone scans.
The office workers were very accomodating and tried to help my mom and me with the miscommunication with my mom’s doctor and OC MRI’s office. Despite the hold up with my mom’s procedure, they were (mostly) friendly. We got everything done and went on our way.
