I’ve been wanting to start writing Unilocal reviews, but nothing has really impressed or disappointed me enough to sit down and write one, until Salamon Art. I would feel ashamed if I didn’t write them a review.
I was looking for a place to frame two basketball jerseys for my dad’s birthday. I called several places before Salamon: Michael’s, Aaron Brother’s, On the Wall, Karen’s, and many more. They all seemed very capable, professional and really expensive. For one jersey the average price I got was right $ 300. I called Salamon and they quoted me $ 100. I was skeptical but decided to check it out.
I met with the owner who was really nice — There’s a review about the owner being pretentious and high strung but I didn’t notice any of that. He sat down with me for quite a while, showed me me several jerseys that he had framed, and helped designed the frames for the jerseys.
I had one problem, my dad’s birthday was the following week. All of the other places told me it would take at least 2 weeks. I offered the gentleman at Salamon extra to have it done in time. He said I didn’t have to and that he could have t done in time. I came back the following week to pick up the pieces. They looked spectacular and better than I imagined. After I took a look, they packed it up and helped me load it in the car. Overall, one of the best customer service experiences I have had. Everything was superb and I will definitely be coming back.

I’ve worked with several frame shops before with projects of all sizes, but there is no shop I trust with my artwork more than Salamon Art. When I needed 11 large prints framed with double mats under museum glass on a short timeline near the holidays, they delivered on time and with perfect results. When I needed a 6-​foot wide print framed with double mats and acrylic glazing, they delivered another perfect product at an incredible price. Guy Salamon runs the shop with his wife and they are always easy to reach, happy to provide quotes, and will make sure your artwork is done correctly and in a timely fashion. Their prices are unbeatable — literally. Before my first project with Salamon Art, I got quotes from 3 other frame shops. Salamon Art beat them all.
They made a lifetime client out of me. Give them a try and I’m certain you’ll become one, too.

Great selection, quality, and pricing!

This framing shop is the best. I’ve gone in with vintage posters, original oils, repros, etc. and I’ve had excellent results with all. The owner, Guy, has an eye for what works for each piece and the end result is terrific and very affordable. The last time I used them I had 5 pieces of large poster art and they were delivered to my home in Long Beach! I won’t have art framed anywhere else. They are simply the best plus the best price for value I have experienced.

This framing shop is soo amazing and has helped me with so many things! The owners are so down to earth and work to your specs no matter how weird your imagination is, this place is awesome!

I have known and worked with Salamon Art (Guy and Jennifer) since 1995. Their customer service, knowledge, creativity, quality, diversity, prices and professionalism FAR exceed the rest in their industry. Don’t even think about considering anyone else for your art needs and framing, Salamon Art is the best at what they do, without question!!!

I went in this past Tuesday with two pieces of art that needed framing. The framer/​owner (I think) named Guy was very knowledgeable and immediately showed me a few framing options. I was really impressed with his keen eye on details and colors because the selections he made were stunning on my paintings. His prices are fair so of course I left him my 2 paintings for framing. I can’t wait to pick them up next wednesday! I’ll need to update my review then, but for now this place is 5 stars all the way!
Since I last posted this review I have had an additional piece of art framed by Salamon Art. All of my art pieces were framed beautifully! They were delivered when promised and the owner, Guy, even gave me brackets and hooks for hanging my art. The quality of craftsmanship is truly evident in every piece of art they frame!
