If they had the option of no stars this would definitely take it. Such rude service. If your not a morning person then maybe starting early at a coffee shop isn’t your thing.

We LOVE coffee beans and tea leaves, the service has almost always been warm and welcoming! We were rather shock at this particular branch however … we stopped by just before 6pm, asked for brewed dark coffee, the staff was obviously reluctant to do it and offered us Americano, which was not what my son wanted. When it was ordered, the person doing it also asked … If Americano was offeredl? Further indicate their reluctance. Is this company policy not to brew fresh coffee at this time of day? If so, there shouldn’t be a sign that says one could ask for coffee to be brewed! Our experience here was NOT exactly welcoming and made us feel we are a nuisance!. Pity … we definitely won’t come back again!

Never too crowded, nice employees. I had an issue with the internet once though.
Lots of outdoor seating and cute lights in the back. Coffee tastes excellent. Even their half-​assed Americanos made by noobies.

Good coffee. But if you don’t happen to hear your order called, they won’t bother to remind you. Hint: Some of us don’t want to ask because we don’t want to seem pushy. Follow up and let the customer off the hook. I’ll stick to my regular location.

This is a good Starbucks alternative. I’ve always had decent service here and it’s never been too crowded. There’s a bunch of places to sit inside & out on the patio. It’s also conveniently located next to a donut shop and across the street from a very good Turkish restaurant.

My favorite coffee shop! The Mexican coffee was delish, not too sweet. My go to place whenever I see one around.

Comfy location. Friendly baristas. But they fail to announce that a shot of whatever ingredient is extra cost… They do a fantastic job in greedy sales!

Ask for Josh. He’s my favorite barista. World class service. Entire staff is awesome. Cool donut spot next door. Nice place to take a girl on a quick cheap date. It’s coffee and donuts, not steak and lobster so don’t expect to get lucky. Has a relaxing outdoor fire pit. Nice chance to talk and get to know one another

It was like 10 minutes before closing; and I ordered over the phone. 2 hot white chocolate (more known as hot vanilla) I usually order it that way though. When I picked up, it wasn’t what we had ordered, I think there was a slight miscommunication, because she gave us 2 white chocolate lattes. But what I was so pleased about was the girl that worked there named Christine was so sweet and so nice. I let her know, and she apologized. She fixed up the drinks for me. Her attitude was so delightful. She didn’t show an ounce of annoyance even though it might’ve been my fault for saying the wrong drink. And also it was like 10 minutes before closing (sorry about that)
BTW hot vanilla is sooooooo good.

I actually went to Crafted Donuts, this was just the only place I could check in at.

So this place never disappoints me, One of the reason is that whenever I come here, I am here with our team and it’s our official coffee break
Came here this week with team, had Butter cookie latte with choclate muffin, and had a lovely time with colleagues.
4 Stars for good ambience, good company and of course good coffee

Love this place always fast, friendly, and good. My drink is always made perfectly by a friendly staff member.

I come here sometimes during my lunch break when I feel like some refreshing cold drinks or coffee. The ice tea, coffee, frappes and hot chocolate drinks are really good here. If you like black forest cake be sure to try the black forest frappé. It’s very delicious like the cake just in a drink with cherries and chocolate so yummy. I enjoy the passion fruit and blood orange sweet tea with a little ice on a hot day. I tried the pear blossom sweet tea too. It was OK. This my favorite location.

I love this coffee bean! The location is great and there is lots of room inside. Not to mention, the outside patio has alot of tables and cute lights.
I enjoy coming here to get my java fix and I am never disappointed with my drinks or the service. The employees are so sweet and very helpful! If I’m ever undecided about what to order, they are always ready to give me a recommendation.
Another plus is the cleanliness and the free wifi. It’s a great coffee shop to come to for studying or reading. I intend on coming here more often as I love the coffee beverages and the nice baristas!

Okay, I was going to stop my review there… but since I don’t want to anger the Unilocal gods I will ecpand on my answer a bit further.
The world seems to divide out into 3 groups: 1. People who like Starbucks 2. People who like Coffee Bean and 3. People who don’t give a shit and just goto a coffee shop to study w a book or laptop.
I am in group #3.
So based on that, here is what I noticed:
Clean location. very new w plenty of parking.
Super easy to access from multiple streets.
Freeway close.
Easy to find.
Their black coffee is bland and tastes like there is no caffeine in it.
They keep the ac at freezing levels.
The bathroom is clean.
Based on all the above and utilizing my super secret algorithm for calculating Unilocal stars I determined this location to be a better than average coffee shop.

This is a good Coffee Bean location.
It is located across from the Fountain Valley Costco in a nice small center. It has a fair amount of indoor seating and quite a bit of indoor seating as well.
CBTL coffee and beverage quality are excellent as always.

CBTL is my favorite chain to get coffee at, I cannot go past one of their locations and not stop, especially since the closest one to home is almost 20 minutes away, boo.
This is a great location, nice service, drinks came out fast and were amazing as always.
I got the ultimate extreme mocha (chocolate covered coffee beans and extra coffee) and those espresso beans are everything, most places just use chocolate chips and this is SO much better and what keeps me coming back every time!

First time here and the staff is VERY helpful and super nice! Having lived in Europe, I have very high standards of tea and coffee so I was definitely hesitant to try it.
When the staff made me the chai tea latte with almond coconut milk, I didn’t like it… although it’s definitely better than Starbucks! She immediately made me matcha latte with almond coconut milk and it was AMAZING! I’m definitely going back to try their coffee and for their customer service since it’s simply wonderful! The staff will make sure they find you something you love!

Came here on a Friday afternoon to enjoy some good hot tea (despite it being about 85 degrees outside) and some sunshine.
This is one of my favorite coffee shops — I am a little bias cause I use to work at one — but even before working at a Coffee Bean like 6 years ago, I actually liked Coffee Bean over Starbucks just cause they have a variety of good teas. Their coffee drinks are also better in my opinion.
This location is pretty nice — they have a huge outside patio equipped with comfy lounge sofa and chairs and plenty of shade with huge umbrellas. There inside isn’t too small but I think the outside is bigger. I usually like sitting outside because sometimes if you sit inside too long, your clothes and skin would absorb the aromatic coffee smell — which isn’t really a big deal but sometimes I don’t want it in my clothes.
The service is pretty good and I haven’t been disappointed yet so I’ll keep coming. Oh and also what is nice is that an Doughnut shop opened up next to it — you can order a box of donuts and box of coffee for your office or for catering! Very convenient. However coffee bean also have some very good pastries too but they don’t provide boxes if you order more — it usually comes in just a bag so a little more difficult to bring back to the office — doable but not as convenient as a box.

It’s on Newhope St and Talbert Ave in Fountain Valley.
It’s in a tiny shopping/​restaurant plaza. I wanted «dipping dots» next door, but didn’t know it was closed ;(Inside is not so big yet roomy. Big outside seating area. Décor is warm and casual like every other TCBTL. Parking was kinda tight, but you can find some spots. Service is kinda slow.

Tea granita: It’s basically a fruit flavored iced tea slurpy. But the syrup and ice were separated so quickly and I constantly had to stir it — Failure. They have 2 flavors: Passion fruit and pear berry (caffein free). Not bad but it doesn’t worth the price for sure.

I don’t drink nor like coffee much. I drink water or something non-​coffee product at coffee shops — just for the free Wi-​Fi usage. I feel «expensive» here because I go to Asian «boba» tea places all the time. This one was a failure and a bit too weak to grab my attention to this place ;p
