I have been going here for years. They have good food and at a reasonable price. They have very good customer service and don’t make you want long for your food. I wish they would delivery out where I live.

In a sea of gross restaurants in fountain, this place is great! The food tastes great and the veggies always taste fresh!!!

Love this place. Go here for lunch at times. Never very busy, food is fresh, no frozen taste and never fails to be on point. Love the size of plate for the price. Beyond full for less then $ 8. Friendly staff as well.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid — same owners and everything! Every time we go to another Chinese food restaurant we compare it back to this place and they are the best. Get the crab cheese rangoons

Repulsive — absolutely the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. Nothing we ordered was even remotely close to being good. Everything tastes frozen and reheated, and is either bland or sickeningly sweet. I love hot and sour soup but at this place I literally could not stomach more than one spoonful. It was like drinking hot, sugary vomit. The egg rolls were completely bland, with a reheated, mushy center of mystery vegetables and meat. The spare rib appetizer was like unseasoned pork jerky on an oily bone. I don’t have high expectations of crab and cream cheese rangoons at lower end places but these were worse than usual. In three rangoons, there was one, ONE piece of «crab» meat(imitation crab naturally) and it was teeny tiny. The entrees were as bad if not worse than the appetizers — sweet and sour pork had a heavy, canned, syrupy sweetness that made inedible and the General Tso’s Chicken was essentially roadkill soaked in soy sauce — dry and terribly salty with no spice whatsoever. There is another Chinese restaurant with the same name that is located on 8th Street in the Springs and it is leaps and bounds above this crap hole. This place however, makes the Panda Express down the street look like P.F. Chang’s. It’s fucking gross and I wouldn’t feed it to my dogs.

Ordered take out for lunch. Dinner portion sizes and they are pretty large. Got orange chicken with fried and steamed rice. Schzn chicken with chicken fried rice. Overall. Not bad. Good taste the orange chicken had some spice to it. The rice was good, the fried rice didn’t look like fried rice it looked like brown rice to me. But it was good I will be going back

The food is great and the service even better. They know my family’s orders and treat us like family every time we go.

Prices are not too bad, delivery was under an hour. Food is average to below average. We ordered the pork fried rice, chicken fried rice and general Tso chicken. The pork fried rice was below average, the meat was overly salted, the chicken fried rice was average, the General Tso chicken was terrible, the chicken is either precooked and microwaved or precooked and heated in an oven bottom line it was soggy and rubbery. The flavor tastes like a microwave dinner Chinese box that you get from the grocery store. Just another average Chinese place

We’ve been coming here for years, and are never disappointed in the food. The portions are large and the prices are low. The food is delicious!!! The hot and sour soup is the best I’ve found; nice beefy broth with the perfect amount of spiciness. The hot tea is actually brewed, no teabag in a pot like a lot of places do nowadays. We now live in Pueblo, and when we want Chinese, make the trip to eat here. It’s well worth the drive. People who’ve given bad reviews must not have eaten here or have it confused with somewhere else.

Yummy food Reasonable price. Clean restaurant always asking if we needed anything. Beef broccoli was on point. The Kung chicken was really good.

Don’t bother! We tried this place out tonight because Dragon King was closed. We ordered pick up and were there exactly as they were bagging our food. The rice was cold, like just had come out of the fridge cold! We ordered fried rice and there was no way it was fried rice… looked like white rice with some small pieces of egg in it. The meat had absolutely no flavor and it was mostly just breading with a few pieces of chicken. We will definitely not be coming back here.

Rounded UP from 3.5 stars. This is a very clean restaurant. Service was excellent. The food tasted fresh and clean. I felt that there was too much oil in the food and it was overall quite bland. Still, I would dine here again in a pinch.

Best Chinese food in Colorado Springs. I’ve been going here for years and can’t find anything anywhere nearly as good. The place is old yes, but doesn’t change the taste in food.

only taste at this restaurant is sweet, sauces have no spice, just a lot of sugar which makes it all taste very bland. Huge portion of food but impossible to eat because of the nauseating sweetness.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I totally found a dead bug in my fried rice… Glad I didn’t eat it! CLEANYOURPLACE!

Coal Mine Dragon has very good service and very good food! The prices are reasonable considering the portions that they give you. Their delivery service is speedy and friendly. I love their fried rices, beef and broccoli, mongolian beef, buddha’s mixed vegetable… I haven’t really had anything that I didn’t like!

We just ate here and our server was amazing! The food was wonderful and they gave us a discount for no reason! We left a fat tip and plan to come back soon!

For American Chinese, this is a good 3. If it was $ 2 less I’d give it a 4 and we’d come back a lot more. For the same price we could have gone to some high-end Chinese buffets. I had the House Specialty deep fried chicken. I was expecting more of a batter I guess. It was lightly fried lumps of white meat chicken, like nuggets but in more random shapes, with a mild sweet/sour sauce, but not really sweet or sour. My roommate had the orange chicken and it looked identical but actually tasted orange. My wife had the cashew chicken and that was great, tasted perfet, and was loaded with cashews! Service was fine, they brewed up a pot of coffee just for me, and the place was dead other than us at 5PM!

Also accurate, fast, and tasty!!! Chinese food in Colorado Springs is hard to find on the good side and in Fountain-even harder. This one delivers which is nice because the other one doesn’t. I would recommend this place over and over — everything we’ve tried that has been new to us we have loved.

Thanks a lot, Unilocal… Are we really that desperate for good Chinese restaurants in this area. We went based on the good reviews here and were disappointed. We ordered the almond chicken and the waiter told us that no one liked it, so we changed it to the chicken chow mein… why didn’t he tell us that that was bad too? Very bland(and even worse as reheated leftovers). The sweet and sour pork was okay, the rice was hard and cold, the egg drop soup was good, as was the service. The«goods» aren’t enough to bring us back, though. Sorry.
