Sadly, the cost of this gym was prohibitive to my becoming a member.(I should have known that the cost would be high when I asked about the cost prior to scheduling an appointment, but did not receive a response that included pricing.) It works out to about $ 24-$ 30 a session, 3 sessions a week is the minimum, and the contracts are for a 3 month, 6 month, or 1 year membership — paid in full up front. The trainer for my info session was great, and I enjoyed an hour long work out — 30 minutes in circuit type weight training, and 30 minutes of cardio intervals on a treadmill. The trainer was very attentive and showed me how to do each exercise. The session only had 2 other women in it, so everyone got attention from the trainer. After the work out, I met with a staffer to discuss the Get In Shape program. In addition to the work out sessions, they also encourage their members to follow a nutrition plan they provide, which emphasizes eating 100 grams of protein a day.(The nutrition plan seemed similar to Weight Watchers Points Plus program to me, but the staffer was not happy when I made that comparison.) They also have nutrition coaching and check in sessions as part of your membership. The before & after photos on the wall of members are impressive. Despite their website saying you get a «free week trial». I only had the one session. If the cost were lower, I’d have joined up as a member.
