All ways the best service and the best food I love this restaurant. I wish I can have one near me but is to far from where I live

Had a fantastic night at the Outback in Framingham tonight. We have long been a patron in Norwood but will now be going to Framingham. Three fantastic, attentive bartenders, order with special instructions came out perfect. They were always making sure we had everything we needed and always had something to drink. Rafael was the only name I caught but the lady bartender was equally good. The bar has great atmosphere, nice lighting. Very pleasant

It Outback. You know what to expect. And if I could remember my servers name(she did share my boys December bday date…), I’d give it a 5 star just on service, ’cause that gal had it ALL! Food is, well, Outback. I kept to my filet, done the way I wanted and with anticipated Outback flavor, nothing to really squeel about. But the teen and his dad unlocked their jaws for a juicy burger with towers of blooming onion, and they were happier than cows in the meadow. I guess one persons«its ok, its edible and affordable» is anothers«DANGMOMTHISBURGERISSERIOUSLYGOOD»… Teen happy? Of course! So, 3 for the reliability of good chain food, and 5 star for the outstanding service on a 2pm «linner», pre Christmas«bring your birthday teen and your ex to his favorite chain day.

Went here one night after my nephews soccer game. It was after 8 so I gave them the benefit of the doubt that everything– including the bread was bad. I ended up writing a review on Outbacks website– again stating I get it was late. I got a phone call from the manager and he asked me about the experience. I said we have had good meals there before but this was not one. And it was like $ 60 bucks to boot. The manager apologized and said he would fed ex me a $ 30 gift card… Never saw the gift card. Now I’m annoyed and won’t be back to Outback. Don’t tell me you are going to send me a gift card if you have no intention of doing so. Another chain we won’t be returning to

My last review was in 2013. You’ll soon understand why I was steaming like a hot Hamburger about my recent experience at Outback. Now, let me begin by stating that I’ve been going to this place for over 20 years. Overall the value is there, but inconsistencies can be the killer. Tonight the place wasn’t too busy but the service was on the slow side. The overall experience was just off including the food. I love crab cakes and saw you can pair one with a steak. I was looking forward to that. When my meal came out, the crab cake was barely cooked all over and the steak hardly had a crust on it. I ordered the steak medium. Both items were very bland. I took a few bites and told the server I wasn’t happy with the meal. The manager poked his head over the wall to ask if I wanted anything else. «Are you talking to me?» No, I said, I’m all set. There was more to this story but my meal was the real low light. Yes, I will return to outback because I think I’ll be a fan for life but it appears my review is «consistent» with others on here.

I am a regular for takeout at this restaurant. I am generally very pleased, even though on occasion they do get an order wrong, i.e. not including the dessert that was paid for in the package. Occasionally my wife and I visit the restaurant. Tonight we had prime rib which was fantastic and sirloin which was very tasty also. They were cooked exactly as ordered. The waiter was very friendly and«went the extra mile» to keep us happy. The bread was warm and fresh and the clam chowder was excellent.

Had a strange experience recently at this location. Went inside and was seated at a booth, the waiter came and asked us what we would like for drinks. So me and my girlfriend said we would both like a soda. The waiter got down on his knees(not kidding) gave us a really strange look like about to tell us the biggest secret in the world and says«Im going to level with you guys…(silence for 5 seconds)…(getting uncomfortable)… our soda carbinator broke down so we dont have any soda right now someones going to fix it later, if you want lemonade, yeah we have lemonade…» He says this at a very low tone almost whispering, well pretty much whispering. Anyhow It would have been fine yet it was way to creepy and we said nope we are leaving. The seating person should have told us they were out of soda, and at least the waiter could have just stayed standing up and said sorry were out of soda. But being really creepy and whispering with a really strange facial expression I can’t even describe, kinds of makes customers weary. I cant comment on the food so 3/5, because of mr. creepy

I’ve gone 3 times and have sat at the bar each time to have dinner. The bartenders are friendly and their service is quick and pleasant. Rafael has been on point every time. Bo and another gal were also on the ready. However, Rafael remembered my previous orders and answered menu questions honestly and with a smile. I really appreciated that. Asking a genuine question and feeling like I’ve bothered them makes me not want to come back and the staff here have been nothing but welcoming. The T-bone with bone in was perfectly cooked to med rare. It has a peppery flavor from the char that was delicious. My G ordered the same but his was a bit undercooked so he sent it back and asked for a few more min on the fire. He got a new steak and new plate, everything hot and cooked much better without question. We really were surprised that we didn’t get the original plate back. I was expecting cold fries and and mediocre steak but they aim to please. The drinks were good but the dessert, cheesecake with choc wasn’t outstanding. It hits the sugar spot but nothing spectacular. The first time I got the chowder and would order it again. The second I got the prime rib but I’m sticking w the T-bone. We tend not to eat at chain restaurants often but we’ve been happy coming here. Hope they can keep it up.

I never visit an Outback Steakhouse expecting to receive top tier food or lavish service, however our trip to this location was sickening at best. My wife ordered the salmon, she didn’t seem to have any complaints with her dish… however… I ordered the New York Strip and garlic mashed. The mashed was good but two tiny tablespoons of a serving left me literally wanting more. The steak was good, yet very fatty(more than 30%) and undercooked for medium. When asked how everything was, I was informed New York Strip is a very fatty meat. While it can have *some* fat, I’ve had quite a few steaks and this was insane. The reason however for the low review is less about the steak and more about the fact I’ve been sick since last night. I’m not sure what caused it, but it’s no fun, mate.

Their steaks are fine. Service is somewhat presentable. Only issue I have is they can’t seem to cook fish. It came out dry three attempts at the Mahi. Their excuse was that their grills are really hot so it dries out the fish quickly. I guess that’s common sense, but wouldn’t that mean just take take off sooner.

I feel like I don’t give out many low reviews because I look at Unilocal, and tend to avoid places that have low reviews. That was not the case here. I should have read those reviews, and I should have not come here. My wife and I had a coupon for Outback, so figured we’d come here. We’d been out to Outback a number of times elsewhere so figured one Outback is the same as another. My wife got the mahi, which she was disappointed by. I got the gluten-free Outback steak with mashed potatoes. Same meal I get at every Outback. It was ok, and wasn’t disappointed. I’d put it down as three stars. Nothing bad, but nothing special. The service was decent, with the exception of them never refilling water except when flagged down and asked. That’s a pet peeve of mine, but once again, three stars. Nothing above-and-beyond, but not bad. So, this would have been three stars, with one minor itsy bitsy problem. My wife and I got so sick that night that we were glad our place has two toilets. I would have chalked it up to maybe my meal had gluten in it, but my wife has no allergies or sensitivities, and still was sick all night. Anyplace that makes me sick is an instant one-star. No exceptions. Not even if the food was spectacular, and the waiter sitting there with a cloth over their arm calling me Monsieur, and the Framingham Outback is certainly not at that level.

Dear lord people, listen to the reviews! I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt and now I’m embarrassed I even ate here. The crab and avocado stack with corn tortilla chips was seriously horrendous. Cheap store-bought guacamole would have tasted better, and it was like they dumped a can of fake crab on top. It smelled atrocious and my friend was not feeling too well after eating it. I was also looking forward to a nice hot soup on this –2 degree night. Their special was the potato soup, and it was served at room temperature and I tasted cold chunks of potato in it. So bad. For my entrée I got steak tacos, which were acceptable, but nothing that I would ever go back for. Service was lacking as well– they never brought me the side of sour cream that I asked for. Stay far far away from Outback.

It’s a chain, you usually know what to expect. I’ve never had a bad experience at any location until this one. The lobby was crowded with a group that couldn’t be seated for some reason, even though half of the restaurant was empty. We grabbed seats at the bar and were offered drinks and then ignored for a good 10 minutes while the staff talked about other customers who were complaining(possibly that group that was not being seated). Went to order and they were out of 2 of the things we tried to order, shrimp and the cookie coating for the rim of my friend’s drink(which she got anyway, and then happened to notice someone else with the same drink and cookie coating, very weird timing that it just ran out before hers OR someone wanted to be mean for no reason?). The broccoli was microwaved and the lamb came out rare when ordered medium. Luckily it still tasted good and I took the risk of getting sick and just ate it, and I came out the winner on that gamble. But needless to say I will never go back to this location, terribly mismanaged and unfocused on customers. ALSO, a general note: when did the boomerang shrimp leave the menu? I was surprised to see such a nice classic disappear. That was my favorite for years, hope it comes back someday.

My boyfriend and I love a nice steak, so outback is always somehow on our radar. We’ve certainly have had weird, bad service at this location before, but I actually really enjoyed the service and food this past weekend we went. Our waitress was kind and engaging, but not overbearing. She was willing to get us the date night menu with no qualms. She gave us the 9 oz steak without hesitating(because most steaks start at 6 oz and she was confused at first when we said 9 oz). The food came out quickly! Our blooming onion was great; the steak was juicy; she was able to secure my a random sauce I asked for; and(my favorite) she boxed our cheesecake to go with large sides of sauces packaged with it. Though the mashed potatoes are always kind of a dry let down, everything else was really great and it led to my boyfriend and I having a great date night.

Me: not a fan of chain restaurants in general. But I like Outback Steakhouse. And this Outback, in particular, is visually the nicest I’ve ever been in. Service here is also pretty friendly, but that’s where my praise ends. We were missing staple items like plates and silverware until requested. I needed a manager to get a refill on water. The steak was over cooked. The salad was over and unevenly dressed. And our appetizer seemed like a side dish. We like Outback Steakhouse quite a bit, but we’re going to stick to the Westborough location from now on, since they seem to get it right.

my soup was grey… so strange that it still tasted good, but damn, it looked gross(yes I was hungry). My 6 oz filet was so strange, they cut it horizontally, so it kind of looked like a hockey puck and was waaay overcooked. I like the entry with plenty of seating inside and out and the offer a drink as well. 2 stars cause I love the fresh, warm baked bread and the staff was very friendly at the front desk as well as our waiter.

So so so dissatisfied with this location… quite frankly this experience broke the camel’s back for me. It was just the service that made it really unwelcoming for us. The server was nice… but too nice? She was more focused on making conversation rather than allowing us to enjoy the overall experience. Plus at one point she came back from a cig break and the smell was overwhelming, really messed up your senses. I also have to mention that I was highly irritated when the food was brought out by two other servers that had no clue who’s orders belonged to who. One girl was scrambling around trying to figure it out while her companion just held one plate and stared. The companion also bit back when my friend was trying to direct the plates. Cmon! The food was mediocre, food plating could have been more elaborate. I think I would rather save the trip to Texas Roadhouse.
