Bluegrass Hearing Clinic

This is a buyer’s delight review, in contrast to the buyer beware review that I posted on our first attempt to seek a solution for my husband’s hearing problem. My husband called this practice after having a general bad experience on his first attempt to buy hearing aids. From the very first contact he could tell this practice was in a whole different league. They were extremely knowledgeable about a variety of brands, styles, functions and wanted to share that knowledge. They also wanted to help by providing information on possible coverage for the expense of hearing aids.
The first part of the exam was like night and day in comparison to our first experience. The doctor was very professional in her testing, recording, and explaining of the results of the exam.
In addition the doctor that we saw was very personable, caring, honest and patient with all the options that we had to choose from. She had printed materials on the options and hand wrote pros and cons to the different models that we were considering. She provided us with prices on all the hearing aids under consideration and even though we were looking at the top of the line models the quotes were nowhere close to the first business that we had been swept up by. The doctor conversed with both of us but gave us plenty of privacy and time to talk the decision over. She didn’t mind if we wanted to walk away and come back to order at a separate time or she explained the 100 percent satisfaction policy that allowed for time to try the product and return it if not satisfied.

Follow-​up appointments have always been just as pleasant as the day we first walked through the door. My husband is happy with his hearing aids and I’m happy that the noise level from television and conversation in our house is much lower. I no longer have to repeat myself but I can’t whisper behind my husband’s back anymore. (LOL)
