Fiancee Couture

I purchased my wedding dress last night here from Maria! Unfortunately they are moving out of state! They are having an amazing sample sale now though and there’s still plenty to choose from.
I had given up all hope that I would get my dream dress by my dream designer! Not only did she have it. It fits like a glove and needs no work whatsoever!
The shop is amazing and Maria is so helpful! If you are in the market run over before it’s too late!

I used to work for a big bridal store and did not want that kind of experience for myself as a bride. I wanted to go to a small boutique where I could get the attention that every bride deserves. Maria the owner helped me find a beautiful dress that I thought I would never be able to find because it wasn’t the typical strapless dress and a little more conservative. It was the first store my mom and I went to and the second dress I tried on and I knew I wanted it when I didn’t want to take it off. I am so happy with the way I was treated here and I can’t wait for my dress to arrive. Thank you Maria for making me feel at home in your lovely boutique!

Absolutely disappointed in our experience with Fiancée Couture. Starting from the phone call to set up an appointment to our actual time in the salon, nothing went well.
When we called to set up the appointment, the owner, whom I can not even name was stand-​offish. I went to visit prior to our scheduled appointment after hearing rumors that the salon was for sale. When I arrived I had to knock on the door because it was locked, even though the posted hours let me know that the salon was «open». The owned answered the door was not welcoming into her business. I wanted some assurance that the rumors I was hearing was not true. I entered the building and never got that warm feeling. At no point did she say to come in and have a look around. We stood by the door to have our conversation. The day of our appointment we showed up and again the door was locked. We had to knock twice before anyone answered. The taylor was quite surprised when we said we were there for our appointment. Apparently the owner had «forgotten» that we were coming in. The taylor tried her best to accommodate us throughout our time there. The sample dresses were not in good shape. Some were torn. This was not the experience that we had expected. I am not sure that we would not buy a dress here even if we did find the one of my daughters dreams.

NEVER use this place. This past year I was in a wedding and the bride had her dress made from here and all six bridesmaids dresses were made. Several of the bridesmaids had more than 7 fittings for their dresses! Not only that, but each and every time that we had to meet with the dress maker, he was more than 45 minutes late. He even had the nerve to blame the bridesmaids for the dresses not fitting making comments about our weight. I live out of town so one one of my visits was measured and he knew I would not be back until the week of the wedding for another fitting. Two months after my fitting, about a month before the wedding, he called because he’d lost my measurements. On my fitting 3 days before the wedding my dress was still about 6 inches from closing because I had measured incorrectly (I checked the email I had sent him, it was correct). THEN, in case that wasn’t bad enough, the dresses were not ready the afternoon before the wedding when the bridesmaids went in for the ‘final fitting.’ All of us had to sit around the brides parents’ house that evening waiting for the dresses to arrive. Of course, we were told that they would be to use by 9:00, they arrived after 11:00. AND STILL 2 of them were messed up.
So in case that wasn’t all enough trouble to go through, the dresses all started falling apart at the wedding. Within an hour of putting them on, two of the bridesmaids were bleeding due to wiring that was stabbing them, all of the dresses were fraying, and I believe all of us were in some way pinned into our dresses. And this is with dresses that were custom made for each of us!
The bride had slightly better luck with her dress, but the bustle on her dress did break within an hour of the reception starting.
At the end of all of it we were told that he was «so embarrassed by the work» and that it was because he had just gotten new help so he would make us all replacement dresses… still waiting many months later.

Very pleasant store! I was driving by with my fiancé and she noticed an amazing dress in the window. We met one of the designers featured in the store (surprise!) and though I don’t know what my finace will be wearing, I am pretty sure its coming from the store. Elegant, classy, unique in every way. Maria, the store owner, was incredibly nice and informative!
