John Milholland is a joke. Clueless does not begin to describe this unprofessional incompetent realtor. Real estate is merely a hobby for him and there is no shred of expertise. Warning: he winters in Florida so if you sign a contract with him he is likely to be out of state while instead in Indiana trying to sell your home. The house was on the market starting October of 2011 and just now closed. He did not make a single suggestion of cosmetic improvements that would help sell the house, not one. Only after consulting an outside expert about improvements was interest sparked in the property. John only began showing interest in trying to sell the property once his contract was expired. When an offer was made nothing was presented in writing just half written text messages with little information. There was no information given about closing and he had to be prompted to get extensions signed on the contract since it was to expire the next day. This happened on several occasions as the buyer financing took an additional 3 weeks. The notice given for closing 3 hours, surprisingly it wasn’t 30 minutes. Thankfully the whole mess has finally concluded. Save yourselves the hassle pick another person to work for you to sell your house and not one who is going to want you to do everything and still get a part of your money.
