Neighborhood Barber Shop

I have been ill/​handicapped for several month. Ruben came to my home, and gave me the best haircut ever, and was so considerate of my condition/​limitations, and maintaind sanitary practices, and cleaned up too. He is a Gentleman and a gentle man… I highly recommend you go there… I am in the entertainment field, so my appearance is rather important to me, and I’m rather vain. so take this recommendation with some weight… maybe get a Pittsburgh Steelers log carved on your head… thanks mean Joe!!!

This is my first time writting a review and glad that is for this barber shop. I used go to queens to get my hair cuts and paid even more, but tjis place is a blessing for me. Don’t have to travel far anymore. Ruben does some amazing cuts, he is my baber from now on, joseph is also good cutting hair. The place is very family friendly, the barber remember by your name, and the best part is that they do exatly what you ask for. Keep it up ruben, you doing a great job with this place.

Neighborhood Barber Shop just got a huge upgrade when Ruben took over the shop (this is not meant to be a disrespect to the previous owner someone who I never met but may also be a fantastic barber).
Ruben has a huge following. Many of his customers (including myself) from his former shop make the trek from Plainview to get their hair cut by this man. Going to Ruben for almost 10 years he has never rushed a haircut regardless of how long the line is for him. He is incredibly accommodating and will get to the shop early or stay late if you ask him. He always takes his time, does a top notch job, and will not nickle and dime you.
He does a great job with young kids as well.
In addition to being a great barber Ruben is an even better person. Sitting in his chair for so many years I have learned that this man is a honest, hardworking, and caring family man.
If you are unhappy with your current shop, looking for a barber in your neighborhood, or willing to drive for a great cut then this is your spot.

My family and I have been going to this barbershop for about 20 years now, being only 24 now there is no need for me to go anywhere else. Regardless of what style cut you’re looking for here you will not be disappointed when leaving, since both traditional styles and trending are styled here. One of the most friendliest local barber shops that can go to in the area. highly recommended!

Ruben is the only barber I will use, he always takes his time and does agreat job every time. The shop is very clean and new. The other barbers at this shop are great too but Ruben is the man!

When you want a great haircut, come to Mario and Franks! Tony and Joe, the two barbers remaining, have a combines 90 years experience cutting hair. They are dedicated and very knowledgeable about all different hair styles and cuts. Open Tuesday through Saturday from 8am-​6pm. There is usually a wait, so make sure you put your name down on the list before getting comfortable.
