Worse experience ever! The Harpeth is a creek not a river. We spent 90% of the time dragging the canoe and about 10% actually in the canoe paddling. I can’t believe they would take people’s money and drop us off at this area to canoe. To make matters worse the rocks were slippery to walk on and I kept falling. If there would have been anyway to get off the«creek» earlier we all would have. This was supposed to be a trip from 12:30 to 2:30 and it was 1:15 to 4:30. We got back after 5pm. By the time we all showered off the river crap we had about 15 minutes to eat to make our opry show. If I can save one person from taking this trip with this review I will be happy. Also, don’t believe the river was just low because of the time of year we went because we mentioned our trip to a local and they told us that area has not been deep enough for canoeing since the flood back in 2010.

we had such a great day at paddle dog adventures! I took my nieces paddle boating for the first time. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful, we paddled around the lake and then got popsicles(which were great) and sat in the grass around the lake. Definitely would recommend for a fun afternoon outing!

I can’t wait to go back and canoe again with Paddle Dog Adventures! My husband had canoed in the past but it was the first time for me. We signed up for a 12:30 trip for Saturday with some of our friends. We had the best time! They people were really nice and helpful. There was no wait and they set up up right away. The prices were great…30 bucks per canoe! Take some snacks and drinks, you’ll be glad you did! It was a beautiful day and I can’t wait to go canoeing again!
