Koko’s Mountain Motel

Love this place. Beds and rooms are always clean and well made. The owner and his wife are a delight to say the least. This is our 2^nd time here and we will surely be back!

Well I’m sitting here in one of the two very clean nicely made beds using the free wi-​fi watching cable on the nice flat screen tv. Towels look new and clean and décor very ‘Glendale’ they are from Glendale, very hospitable & I told them I was in a bind (female stranded alone) so Lily the owner held the room for me as the fwy was shut down due to flooding. She was extra kind to offer me other toiletries as only soap bars come included. Recommend getting rooms on newer side as the ‘local live ins’ are on the other side. Only negative besides the price gouge because of the fwy closure (Hey it’s America) was that the tile in the bathroom was kinda slippery a coating on it (cheap tile job I think) & the floor could’ve been a bit cleaner.
Overall pretty great experience for a one nights stay and best value for the money comparatively to other hotels in vicinity as long as you know where motel is — not directly off the freeway.

No frills motel. Bed was fine, cable TV with remote that worked, refrigerator in room. It took some effort to adjust the water temperature on the shower knob. A little dusty in places, but for the most part was clean.
The manager was nice and welcoming. Just don’t come here expecting modern amenities, plush towels, and cookies on your pillow. For less picky people just looking to save a few bucks, it should fit your needs just fine.
