EJ Stringer, DMD & Joseph Mullen, DDS – Pearlfection Dentistry

I have been going to this practice for 27 years. I understand things change but ever since Dr. Stringer came in I dread going to the dentist. I feel like I’m always trying to be sold some service that my insurance doesn’t cover. Last May when I was in for a cleaning she told me I would need a filling. When she began to explain the procedure to me, she started out by telling me that she was going to use a big rusty needle and laughed hysterically at herself. I didn’t find that at all funny or professional (did I mention this is the first time I’ve ever met this dentist) I went in a few days later for a filling and she repeatedly called me the wrong name. I stopped her to make sure she knew who I was and that she was filling the correct tooth. Today the hygienist told me that they were going to take X-ray’s at the visit. I told her that I didn’t want X-ray’s today. I feel like they should have asked not told me. Today they tried to sell me sealants which surprise insurance doesn’t cover. I am actively searching for a new dentist. I would not recommend this dentist to my friends and family.
