Tint and Sound Customizing

Got no problem paying money for good product and service. This was NOT the case with this place. Decided to have some headlight tinting done through a referral from a friend. Upon entrance, the guy at the front desk had the «my life sucks, what do you want customer? Leave me alone. Omg I want to go home, mad at the world» facial expression. Lol That’s just the beginning, told him I had a appointment. He nodded his head, ask for my key and told me to sit and wait. Upon completion, I had noticed the tint had bubbles and wrinkles in it. No way this is normal right? Well, the technician told me otherwise. Said in a few days in the sunlight, the bubbles and wrinkles should dissipate. Well that was a flat out lie! It’s been 5 days and no change. Lied straight to a paying customer. Also scraped the underneath of my front when parking it (lowered car), didn’t even apologize. I had to pay the piper, Do yourself a favor, look elsewhere for this service.

I took all my cars to these guys and they were very professional with quality as a importance. I own a highly rated repair shop (Preferred Automotive, Rockville MD) and looked to another shop to tint my vehicles. I am pleased with the quality, price and professionalism.

Took my boat to have a stereo installed and a couple speakers. Screw holes showing from previous stereo and really lose in the slot. Got home and stereo was half way out already. I can’t imagine what would happen on the water. We were going to get like $ 2500.00 of Stereo upgrades done to our new conversion Van by this company. Thank God I saw how there work was done on my boat first. Do not take anything to these guys.

I had my new Volvo tinted here. I, as well as my son, have done lots of business with T&S. Never have I had any probs. my new tint job is perfect as was all my past work from T&S. I see a lot of negative reviews, but can’t for the life of me believe they were commenting on T&S!
Im more than happy to refer T&S for any tint and sound jobs.
I just can’t comprehend the negative reviews.

Excellent customer service. Willing to take the time to explain products and to set you up with the right tint or sound system that works with your budget. I have used them for a sound system and window tinting and could not have been more pleased with their service and the products installed.

awful awful place, I went in to get my windows tinted and didn’t know how dark I wanted my windows so I said what ever is legal. the guy pointed over to 2 cars and said that they were 35% and I said ok because the windows were VERY dark. I waited for 2 hours and go out to look at my car and it barely looked like it was tinted at all. I drive home and find a HUGE scratch on the side of my car that wasn’t there before I drove over. he said he would charge me 200 but it somehow tuned out to be 220 before tax. poor service, damaged car, over priced. steer clear of this awful business

Overpriced for poor service.
I had my windows tinted here a few years back, got the executive package which comes with a lifetime warranty against defects. Tint held up great, no complaints there, cost $ 250.
Moved out of state, and back into the state recently, so my vehicle had to pass inspection which required a window tint test. Long story short I had to get the tint removed, not surprised, no big deal.
Called T&S to have them remove the tint, they quoted me $ 100, which I thought was high, so I asked them if it was something i could do myself and they explained it required steam and adhesive remover, so I went with it.
I show up to drop off my car, maybe 30 minutes after I talked to them to get the quote and THEY WEREN“T EVEN THERE! They left a sign on the door saying they went to get breakfast. The guy from the tire store showed up at the same time, we were both amazed.
So I leave the car, they remove the tint.
I come back to pick up the car and the windows are all frozen over, I assume its just frozen condensation from the steam. Go inside to pay and they charge me the original $ 100 PLUS $ 15 EXTRA for adhesive removal, the adhesive removal that they mentioned when I got the $ 100 quote. I payed it.
So get in the car and leave and half way home I realize that the windows are in fact frozen from condensation, but mixed in with the frost is adhesive and/​or adhesive remover that THEY DID A SHIT JOB OF REMOVING!
Long story short, I paid these people $ 115 to peel the tint off of my window, and supposedly remove the adhesive while at it, and I still have f**king adhesive all over my windows.
DO NOT USE THESE A**HOLES.

STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!!! **SCAM**
If I could give ZERO stars I would. Talk about taking advantage of woman in the automotive industry.
Let me start by saying they’re very friendly when you come in to ask questions about customizing. I payed to get TWO 12″ subwoofers ($ 600) along with full window tinting ($ 250 w/“Lifetime Warranty”) and on another occasion I got my tail lights tinted for ($ 180)
Exactly a month later, my speakers started to sound funny so I bought it into another shop to get a quick diagnostic. ***LOW AND BEHOLD*** I come to find out I paid for TWELVE INCH speakers to only get TEN INCH SPEAKERS. Shame, shame.
I call T & S to let them know about this problem and they ask for me to come in. The guy at T & S justifies this «confusion» by saying «We installed 10″ Memphis subwoofers in because it has just as much sound as a 12″ but costs less.»
I didn’t even bother to argue, I let it go because OBVIOUSLY no matter how wrong they are; they have some fancy explanation to justify their horrible business practice. **STRIKE ONE & TWO**
About three months after I got my tail lights tinted I got a car wash and pieces of the tinting were chipping off which is NOT supposed to happen and can only be explained as a manufacturers defect. I call T & S hoping they’d change their shady practice and nope… Same old SHIT.
They said they’d «fix» the tinting at a fee or $ 100. Um, no way. I paid $ 180 already for TWO tail lights and I have to pay another $ 100 MORE to get it fixed??? **THIRD STRIKE**
I will make sure to tell EVERYONE I know and more to NEVER be fooled by this place.
