Good food, great price, and specials are awesome but hair at the bottom of the box my sandwich was in is not. 3 out of 5 because I may not order here much but when I do I love it, and to get hair with my food and not find out till afterwards sucks. If you wanna take the risk do it. May have been an accident so I didn’t call, but if you find some definitely call and tell them.

THE BEST PIZZA IN FREDERICKSBURG!
Ever since I was a kid, I have been so picky with pizza. A lot of places around Fredericksburg were horrible. I hate Papa Johns because they put TOO MUCH sauce and it is awful, pizza hut is disgusting, little Caesars tastes like paper. etc.
I finally can say I like pizza after I ate at Mama’s! The pizza was cooked perfectly, there was just enough sauce that tasted fresh, the toppings were perfect and not too burned. I moved away but when I come back to visit family, I still will always stop and get myself a personal size pizza. The employees are great and super friendly and the place is nice and clean. My server was named Renata and she always serves me when I’m there, super friendly and gets the food in appropriate amount of time.

A simple casual place. A clean laid back place where you can take your kids. The pizzas are pretty good, but extra toppings are over $ 2 a piece. The Stromboli is really large, and a but sloppy, but good.

I didnt get pizza but I got the Gyro wrap and it was amazing. The place is little small, but other than that, it was pretty good. My food came out quick and hot, but they brought it out about 15 mins before my boyfriends food did. So that bothered me a little.

Good pizza not great on our first try. First there was a mess up when I paid over the phone, no big deal. The pizza was pretty skimpy on the cheese which is why it gets 3 stars. The taste was OK. I’ve had better and I’ve had worse. The price seems a little high but not bad I’ll try again

Looked like an average pizza place looking for something on vacation, called before to ask for pizza and beer. We arrived and were told to sit in the dining room. We sat down in the dining room and waited 10 minutes … No service at all. Nobody even looked at the other 3 tables in the dining area. We decided to leave. The «owner» blocked our escape and would not stop pestering us! Seemed like an okay place, maybe caught it on a bad night.

Not really worth it in my opinion. I really enjoy authentic pizza. Let me provide an illustrative example. When I ask for basil or spinach on a pizza, I expect actual, fresh basil or spinach. That’s not what Mama’s does. The pizza brought to me was generic, bland, with an overly chewy crust. The staff seemed offended that I was not happy with the toppings, and did nothing to alleviate my dissatisfaction.

If you are going to spend your hard earned cash on a pizza, I recommend Mama’s.
The deals they have are great, and the pizza is so good!
I pick up a pizza from Mama’s once a week for pizza day, and I am never disappointed.

They have coupons online and wouldn’t not couldn’t honor them. I’ve never eaten here before and never will now. I work in retail/​customer service and if we have a coupon online my company honors them. You will not keep customers if you don’t honor your prices.

I could not tell you what the food is like. I called to make a delivery order about 6:50 pm. I was told 45 minutes to an hour. After waiting an hour and a half I had called to check on my order. I was informed that my delivery was on its way and was apologized to for the delay. About 15 minutes later, I received a phone call saying that they do not deliver to where I live. While on the phone with what I believe was the manager, the blame was put on me. They informed me that they called and my phone was busy. I guess I have the only cell phone with no call waiting. I will never eat at this place of business based on their lack of professionalism. I would give 0 stars if it would let me.

Mama’s and Sam’s are in the same ballpark for me — both no frills pizza delivery places that have big delivery menus, send me tons of coupons, have buy one get one free pizza deals. They even have similar menus and offerings. Ultimately I think I like Mama’s a little bit more — usually go with two pizzas and an order of the fried mushrooms, which you get a ton of. This winds up being a gargantuan order that feeds us for almost a whole weekend.

We have enjoyed their pizza, it is not a bad option on the menu, however, I fear it is the only thing on the menu. This past evening my husband and I tried the pasta and it was terrible. The cheese was thin and over done and the tomato sauce in my dish may have been simply ketsup. While we both consider Mama’s pizza a delivery option, pasta will not be.

OK it’s not a bad pizza but I honestly believe the reviews of 5 star are written by the owners friends. It’s too soggy for me. It taste fine but it does not stand out from the crowd and certainly does not pass the reheat test.
