I quite enjoy Menchie’s! I come in often to grab a sample(oops! Sorry… I do actually make purchases there, just not every time) and I often gravitate toward their featured flavors-as those always seem to be the best! About half of their flavors are not that stellar, but the flavors that are good are very creamy, flavorful, and has a consistency very similar to soft serve icecream. The Harvest Pumpkin(seasonal), Cinnabon Cinnamon Roll, Sugar Cookie, Takes the Cakebatter, and Peanut Butter Cookie are some of the best flavors that I have tried to date. I recommend staying away from the sugar-free flavors and those in the machines further to the right, as they seem to be not as good as the featured flavors or those on the left side(when looking in from the door side). For some reason, I do not like the toppings bar as much as the ones at say, Sweet Frog. Menchie’s has a decent amount of options including your basics and more, but it seems a bit«crammed» and I would like to see even more toppings. I will say that if you ever see the Cinnabon bites & icing toppings to please get them, especially if Cinnamon Roll frozen yogurt is available-YUM! I also really like the nice, reusable plastic spoons that you receive with your fro-yo, especially the color changing ones! I have been to many frozen yogurt places, some good and some bad, and Menchie’s, if you get the right flavors, makes the«good» list!

What’s not to love about Menchies? The customer service is great, the flavors are diverse, and it’s clean. Only reason for 4 stars is not being open late during the week.

I have never been so insulted as a potential customer of an establishment. My story: On 5÷16÷2015 at approx. 4:30pm I stopped here looking for sorbet, mango in particular but I was open to try something different. I went in and asked the«owner’s son» if they had any sorbet? He then directed me to the sorbet machine which had chocolate and carrot orange. The chocolate flavor I wasn’t even interested in trying and as for the Orange I said I’d give it a whirl. I asked for a sample cup and he grabbed one and sat in on a tray behind the counter. Mind you I was reaching out at the front of the counter. I didn’t understand why he did that until after I proceeded to walk out. So, I tried a small sample of the carrot Orange while talking with another customer about how good the Orange was to her. I wasn’t impressed with the flavor so I put my sample in the trash and proceeded to walk out. The«owner’s son» stops me and says with a puzzled or crazy look on his face, «aren’t you gonna buy one, which size do you want»? I said no I don’t like the way that flavor taste so I’m good. He then proceeds to tell me that the reason we let you sample is with the intent to buy, then he points to a sign on the tray where he sat the original sample cup. I never read the sign because I felt no need to. I left and was feeling insulted and pressured and bullied into buying something because I sampled one product. So as I walked back to the mall I decided to come back and express my concern as a lost customer. He then goes on this rant about food costs and supplies and the logic behind why he tells customers this. I’m not buying it!!! I really don’t feel like it was a standard practice for him, I feel like«for whatever reason» I was one he felt the need to say something to. Needless to say, I will NEVER come back or recommend this place to even my worst enemies.

I went there recently. Love frozen yogurt. The place is small. Really cramped. But they employees were really nice & welcoming. They gave me sample cups. & that was where my trip here had to end. They had… A variety… But none I liked. I tried maybe 4 or 5 but hated all of them. I left with nothing. I guess I prefer sweet frog better.

The best froyo in the area! Love the flavors and the atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and the store is always clean. The red velvet is so delicious! Oh, and the toppings look so fresh… at some of the other places in town they look kinda stale sometimes. Hooray for Menchie’s!

Menchie’s is your typical frozen yogurt place. They have about 10 yogurt machines that you choose from(they rotate flavors), and then there is a topping bar. You can get your yogurt in a cup or a waffle cone. Their topping bar is pretty big, with stuff ranging from fresh fruit to chopped up candy bars to hot fudge sauce. When you are done, you put your yogurt on a scale at the register and pay. Every time I have been inside this place it is FREEZING. They also have outdoor seating.

I have never seen this brand before, but I have been to a lot of frozen yogurt places and this one is definitely one of the better places. The best frozen yogurt I have had was a place in Singapore… but in the U.S., id go with this place. Thier chocolate yogurt tasted like pure chocolate!

I have seen Menchies’ all over the place and was kinda excited to see one open in Fredericksburg. This may or may not be because I think their mascot is absolutely precious. After a busy day of shopping, a friend & I dropped in here for some much needed froyo. Located in the newly built shops in the Spotsy Towne Centre, the shop itself is clean and new. It’s pretty small. There’s extra seating outside, though. Typical selection of flavors, you’ve got your different tarts, angel food cake, peach, red velvet, etc. I opted for the red velvet and cake batter. The yogurt itself is typical of what you’d expect from froyo. It seems to be a bit softer than what you’d comparatively find at places like Sweet Frog or Crave, though. Only one cup size was available. Good for them, bad for me. I tend to get way more than I actually need. The toppings bar is lacking, to be quite honest. There isn’t a very big selection. I am wondering, since this place is newly opened, if they’ll provide a wider range of choices the longer they stay. I’m not sure though, so as it stands, I was a little disappointed. They did have the poppers, mochi, and cookie dough, which are my must haves. Different array of topping sauces too, like Marshmallow and peanut butter. However, there was nothing here that you can’t find anywhere else. They do offer a rewards card, I think its called a Smiles Card or something like that. You earn points and can get discounts I believe. The guy working was super nice and eager to offer his input and help out whenever necessary. My overall experience was good, but nothing special. There is really no defining feature of this place that would make me choose it over any other froyo place. So if you’re just hankering for froyo after a day at the mall, then it would be super convenient, but I don’t think I’d go out of my way to take a trip back or anything.
